The weird gift
Still in the hotel, Victoria was opening the presents she received, then transferring them to a large box to be moved to the new house once Brandon returned to Wichita. She wasn't alone; she was helped by David and Sophia.
"Mom, what's this?" Sophia asked, showing a white box with a picture of a sex toy shaped like an elongated object. "Vibrator ... Enhances your experience in ..."
"Hey, don't!" Victoria quickly snatched the box before Sophia finished reading it.
"What is that?"
"It's ... It's just for massage," Victoria said nervously, glancing at David who was silently smiling. 'Oh damn, this is so embarrassing. Who sends such a gift anyway?'
"Can I try it?" Sophia grabbed the box.
"Hey, don't!" Victoria snatched it and quickly threw it into the big box in front of David. "It's too dangerous for you."
"But it's for massaging, my feet are sore, I want to use it!"
