Back in the Future

A light appeared, causing the whole world to tremble in fear. The magnitude of power coming from it was almost paralyzing. After a few minutes of groundbreaking silence a stone appeared. It did not look like anything special or out of the ordinary. Spectators would probably think it to be a rare, maybe even magical, gem.

Slowly magic started to pour out of the gem. It formed the shape of a human, then, suddenly as if realizing something was not quite right, the magic's shape changed. It changed into the form of a half fish half human like creature. It possessed the magic of the sea and the soul of a fairy.
