33 Tag Team Attack

Sergio Von Croy was the only one to get out of the way safely. He sensed the wailing of Jin Chow, but he hesitated to move as the whole gigantic beast came into view. The body and the head are as large as boulders with eight jet-black eyes, the fangs extended to a foot in length, and the legs, as thick as the pillars, coated with velvety fur.

Seeing the fullness of the giant arachnid, he rushed away at great speed to establish some distance.

"Where are you going!? You coward! Come back here!" Jin roared to call out the running Sergio while the spider poised itself to bite down on its captured prey.

However, Liu Kai was still calm and collected and thought, 'So this was the reason why giant water striders were avoiding this place.'

Sergio then stops, turns around and kneels like an Olympic sprinter and bolted towards the spider.

"Leave my friends alone!"

He wasn't running away. Instead, he was creating distance to prepare for a jump. Creating enough momentum, he squatted halfway and sprung himself off the ground like a volleyball player trying to spike a ball.

"Take this!"

Reaching his run-up jump's maximum height, he then front flipped his body to propel himself to the ground, aiming both of his feet at the spider. Striking the bug so hard that it knocks it back a few meters, releasing his friends from its hairy clutches.

Liu Kai and Jin Chow got up on their feet and met up with Sergio, who backflipped from the recoil as well.

"Woah! That was awesome Mr. Acrobat," said Jin Chow.

"Sorry about that, Sergio, I thought you ran away," Jin said while scratching his head.

"So, what's the plan?" Sergio Von Croy asked Liu Kai, ignoring what Jin said.

"We need to get out of this building first. Once we're out, we'll move using the floating plants, it shouldn't be able to chase us on water, but we need to create enough distance from that Giant Spider to get out of here." Liu Kai briefed the two knights.

"Sounds like a good plan. I'll distract it. You two need to hit it with something that can hurt or better yet take it down." Jin Chow added.

Liu Kai and Sergio both nod and run back to let Jin Chow do his thing. Liu Kai grabbed something sharp while Sergio ran far back for a run-up.

Jin Chow activated his skill 'Indestructible' and charged toward the still recovering Giant Spider to intercept it.

The Giant Spider, seeing prey in front of it, stretched out its front legs. Partially covering its head with shadows then growled, causing its fangs to vibrate as it emitted an aura so strong, Jin Chow had trouble breathing.

He calmed his nerves and took deep breaths. He steeled his resolve, taking his stance against the humongous arachnid.

"COME ON!! YOU OVERSIZED BUG!!"

"FIGHT ME YOU DAMNED PEST!"

He shouted repeatedly as he banged his chest repeatedly while speaking to create violent sounds of his own.

"I AM A KNIGHT OF THE MONARCHY!! I WILL NOT FALL HERE!!"

"I… AM... INDESTRUCTIBLE!!" He roared as he released all his aura, activating his blessing that signaled the spider to pounce and attack him.

"HAAAAA!" Jin Chow retaliated with a punch, sending the beast-sized insect back and confused. The spider, more enraged with its attacks being ineffective and unable to pierce his defenses, became more violent and tried to maul Jin Chow and strike him with its multiple legs.

Jin Chow, unable to block all of its attacks with his arms, was getting pushed back inch by inch.

"AAAAAAAHHHH!!" He cried out, still trying to defend against the spiders' relentless attacks.

Meanwhile, Liu Kai and Sergio readied themselves for their attack.

They needed to hurry, or Jin Chow won't hold. Worried about his struggling friend, Liu Kai hurriedly stabbed his leg with a large piece of glass he picked up earlier.

"AAAAAAAAH!!" Screaming with each stab wound he got. His health dropped at an incredible speed.

[Health has now dropped below 50%]

[Skill Berserk will now be: Activated]

[Health has now dropped to 40%]

Messages quickly rang in his head as his eyes turned bloodshot, fire-red light glowed in his veins, starting from his chest towards his arms and legs and even up to his neck, causing him to scream from the quick power shooting up from his Berserk state.

"NOW SERGIO!!" He yelled as he lowered his waist to brace himself and put his hands together, creating a foothold. Liu Kai paid attention when Sergio told them his story and copied their squadron's initial attack.

"You quick-witted bastard," said Sergio.

He froze for a moment after seeing Liu Kai waiting for him. He grinned, waiting with his usual stance, then dashed forward as fast as he could, leaving dust behind him. He stepped on Liu Kai's hand to jump.

Liu Kai then shifted the power to his hands and look at Sergio in the eye the moment his foot touched Liu Kai's hands, "Finish it!" He tossed Sergio Von Croy in the air the same time he jumped.

"Nice throw!!!" said Sergio, grinning while looking at the ceiling.

The throw was perfectly executed like they already did it before, Sergio Von Croy, propelled so high in the air as he reached the unusually high ceiling. He then stretched out his arms and pushed himself off it to add more force to his fall. Tucking his hands back in created a spin while he plummeted back down and aimed for the spider.

"JIN CHOW FALL BACK NOW!!!" Liu Kai shouted as he saw Sergio fell from the sky at great speed.

Liu Kai and Jin Chow ran towards the exit and jumped and dove right into the water while Sergio Von Croy hit the Giant Spider using his kick, creating an impact so strong that it blasted the entire building apart.
