King Lee

The Dolomedes Spider, or the fishing spider, emerged from the cliff, unwilling to let go of its prey.

As they were dreading the fact that the gigantic spider wouldn't let them get away and still followed them, something came swooping down and kicked the insect's head, exploding from his weird kick. The enormous lifeless body went limp in an instant and fell to the ground.

A man with a weird haircut in the shape of, what could only be described as a bowl with a long braided hair attached close to the back of his neck, walked towards them with an imposing manner.

The three who fought toe to toe with the monstrous spider were left dazed and confused. They could not even process what happened before their eyes.

He was standing in front of them, yet they can't seem to feel his presence.

Then he spoke with such grandiose, "It's surprising to see three people survive up to this place. Not bad, the two of you even know how to use a breathing technique," The Man with a bowl cut said.

Liu Kai couldn't use a breathing technique while in his 'Berserk' state since he can't control himself.

The man looked at Jin Chow and Sergio's medallion and said, "I'm sorry but you need to go back. Knights aren't allowed here." The Man gave an order while swaying his hand as if to force them away.

"I'm a Knight—" Jin Chows' introduction was cut short by Sergio, who recognized the mysterious man.

"Y-you are…The m-mightiest knight of Xennog, t-the knight that beat e-everyone in hand to hand combat including his seniors." Sergio Von Croy stuttered in disbelief as the strongest knight was in front of them.

"Is he—" Jin Chow muttered as he realized who Sergio was describing.

"King Lee!!" They exclaimed in unison.

"Hahaha! I thought they would have announced me as dead already. I would not have thought that people would still recognize me." King Lee laughed.

"It's quite flattering, but I do have to apologize. You still need to go back. This place is off-limits." He added.

"HAHAHA!! You're funny! I apologize too because I don't care who you are! HAHAHA!! Don't get cocky just because you're a knight!" Liu Kai threatened as he pounced to attack.

"Liu Kai, wait!" said Jin Chow and Sergio Von Croy, concerned, but it was too late. Liu Kai, with dazzling speed, sent a punch after punch to King Lee. King Lee, however, quickly dodged his punches with minimal effort. He simply tilted his body and side-stepping made it easier for him to weave around attacks without using excessive movements. In just a moment, he demonstrated his superiority.

Liu Kai saw that King Lee was avoiding each attack with ease and precision. This infuriated him even more and increased the speed of his attacks, but he was still unable to get a hit. King Lee wasn't even blocking his strikes and was simply dodging at the last minute and missing him by a hairbreadth.

"What are we going to do?" questioned Jin Chow, not knowing what to do with the case.

"I guess we're going to support Liu Kai. My instincts are telling me that he's not our ally, besides he's asking us to get lost so we might as well force our way in," Sergio Von Croy replied.

Jin Chow charged with his still activated ability to support Liu Kai while Sergio went back to gain some space for a run-up.

"The three of you wouldn't mind if I fight back a little, would you?" King Lee calmly said, observing them punching and kicking the air while dodging them with ease.

King Lee sighed after a moment and said, "I'll take that as a yes."

"Damn it! You're so slippery!" Liu Kai yelled at King Lee, not knowing that Sergio would appear behind him after he purposely lured Sergio to attack. Sergio accidentally kicked Liu Kai's face after King Lee's timely docked.

"Get out!" Liu Kai threw Sergio on the sides after falling to the ground with him. He was supposed to attack, but King Lee planted his fist on Liu Kai's temple as he countered one of his punches and sent him flying back. King Lee shifted to Jin Chow, who was surprised by his sudden retaliation.

King Lee charged at him and moved for a kick. Jin Chow barely put his guard up as he crossed his hands in front of him to take the brunt of the strike. This sent him a few meters back and dragged his feet into the ground.

"Hmmm. You're quite durable. I'll play with you for a little while. Let's see how much you can take." King Lee challenged as he charged once more to rain punches on Jin Chow to see if he could take them. Jin Chow felt every punch as it made contact. Every hit was heavier than the giant spider's spear-like front legs, each punch drilling him deeper into the ground.

King Lee then stopped and sensed something from the sky. He looked up to see Sergio plummeting to the ground with great speed, aiming at him. He quickly stepped back a few meters to dodge Sergio's strike. Jin Chow, who couldn't react, got swept by the impact and got blasted away.

Clouds of dust impaired their vision and couldn't see where King Lee retreated too. Sergio then suddenly felt a sharp pain from his right torso and heard something crack inside him.

King Lee appeared behind him and hammered the right side of his torso, cracking a few ribs. This blasted Sergio off the ground and into the air.

"Woah! That's quite a show. Would you like to try again!?" King Lee mockingly asked. He was toying with all three of them. He knew that they had no chance against him even if they teamed up.

Jin Chow was out of commission as soon as his skill expired. He hesitated to get up and try to take one of his strikes since he imagined a single hit would incapacitate him for a long time. He felt Sergio fall to the ground as he landed nearby. He glanced over to his right to check if he was still conscious but a foot stepped to block his vision. Jin Chow looked up to see that Liu Kai was still eager to fight, standing in front of him.

Liu Kai's health had dropped to the 20% mark, and with every percentage that he loses on his health, more of his sanity goes with it. He was now growling like a beast as his hair rose from the unbelievable power he was getting from his frenzied state. His skin now glowed darker like blood, with steam rising from every pore on his body.

"You're different. You, you're like an animal." King Lee said as he cracked a smile while taunting Liu Kai.

Liu Kai dashed forward with lightning speed and finally got a hit on King Lee's cheeks. A single stripe of blood trickled from his face.

"You're the second person who got a hit on me since the Catastrophe happened." Impressed by Liu Kai's speed prompted him to clash once again with him. They traded blows once more, each hit as fast as bullets that created after images. Countless punches were thrown from their exchange, but King Lee was a more experienced fighter. He countered Liu Kai's strike and landed multiple blows to his face.

Liu Kai couldn't see the attacks coming right at him but was unfazed. His body was numb from all the adrenaline rushing to his brain.

'He's unhurt and his punches are gradually getting faster and sharper. Is he getting stronger from the damage he gets? In that case, I need to knock him unconscious before things get out of hand.' King Lee observed the situation and decided that the best course of action was to knock Liu Kai unconscious.

Amidst the exchange of blows, King Lee precisely aimed for a spot below Liu Kai's sternum and palmed his solar plexus with great force. Liu Kai instantly stopped from attacking and fell face forward to the ground and was knocked out.
