I wake up to a loud ringing in my ears and the unshakeable feeling of something being terribly wrong, my mind immediately goes to September, she hadn't gotten any more suspicious wounds and should be currently fast asleep with Cyril.

But the queasy feeling rolling around in my middle only intensifies, bike crawling up my throat, I immediately throw off my covers and jump out of bed, fuck protocol! I was going to check up on the love of my life.

I burst out the door, I slept in sweatpants and a shirt which was a godsend because I wasn't about to take the time to wear anything if I wasn't.

I break out into an all out run by the time I hit the hallways, ignoring the startled calls of the few people standing guard, I had no idea we even had guards.
