2 Chapter 2: The Move to London

They board their flight. 10 minutes later it takes off, it is a 10-hour flight to London, so Drusilla and Ambrosia falls asleep within an hour of being in the air. Talon stays awake the whole flight. When the flight landed in London, Talon wakes up Drusilla and Ambrosia. They get off the plane, walk into the airport to a restaurant inside. Drusilla walks to the restroom, on her way there she sees a man standing by the entrance to the restrooms. He stands tall, his skin is pale white, his hair is black, he's wearing a black suit. Drusilla looks to him, walks passed him into the restrooms. Immediately he saw her, and his eyes were captured by her beauty.

His name is Lazarus....

He still stands there as Drusilla leaves the restroom and walks to the restaurant, where her family is. He couldn't help but stare at her. He was infatuated with her beauty. While they ate, Talon asks the cashier where the nearest hotel is. She told him that there is one just about an hour away from the airport. Then he asks her if there is a bus that could take them there, she told him that she wasn't sure. He picks up the travel guide, sits down at the table and looks for a bus ticket.

While they finish eating, Lazarus walks over to their table, he stands there for a minute starring at Drusilla and asks them where they are headed. Talon looks to him and says, "Windsor. We need to find a hotel to stay in tonight. Lazarus says, "I can take you there." Talon looks to Drusilla and asks her what she thinks about Lazarus driving them to the hotel. Drusilla tells him that it is fine with her. Lazarus nods his head, tells them that he will go get his car and he will wait for them at the front door of the airport.

While Lazarus drives them to Windsor, he asks them what their story is, Talon tells him that they moved from Kentucky, they need to find a place to live, and he needs to find a welding job. Lazarus looks in his rearview mirror and stares at Drusilla with Ambrosia in the backseat with her. Drusilla notices him starring at her, so she looks out of her side window. She starts to feel awkward; she tries not to pay attention to Lazarus. Lazarus tells Talon that he has a small place that they can rent, he also tells him that he can get him a job. Talon looks to him in shock, as if he could not believe what he just told him. He thinks to himself that this move is going smoothly.

Talon looks back to Drusilla and asks her what she thinks, she tells him that they will look at the place and then decide on it. Talon told Lazarus that they will stay at the hotel tonight, tomorrow they will look at his place. Lazarus grinned and shook his head.

They arrived at the town of Windsor, they could not believe how beautiful it looks, it is one of the wealthiest places to live. At the time Talon was looking for somewhere to stay, he did not know that the town is for the rich people of London. He mentions to Drusilla that he does not think they could afford living in the area. Drusilla says, "Well, we need to find something quick." "I know babe." Talon replied.

They arrive at the hotel, they grab their bags, Talon thanks Lazarus for his help. They walk into the hotel and Drusilla forgot one of her bags, as she walks back out, Lazarus stands by his car holding her bag. She grabs her bag from his hand, her hand touches his, suddenly, she has a weird feeling going through her body, Lazarus stares into her eyes, she stares back, her eyes start gleaming. Drusilla shakes off the feeling, she thanks him and walks back into the hotel.

The day for them has been long, so once they get to their room, they immediately go to bed...

The next morning, before sunrise, Talon and Drusilla got up, Talon knew it was going to be another long day, he must find a home and a job. After they got dressed, they go to the lobby and eat breakfast. While they sit there and eat, Drusilla notices that Lazarus is standing by the receptionist area....

"Hey, babe, look behind you, it's Lazarus." Drusilla says.

"What! Where?" Talon replied.

"Look behind you." Drusilla said.

Talon quickly looks behind him, he does not see Lazarus.

"Drusilla, I do not see him." Talon said.

Drusilla replies, "He was standing right by the receptionist area, I saw him!!"

"Well, I don't see him, maybe it was someone that looks just like him." Talon said.

Drusilla shakes her head back and forth, she told Talon that that was him. Talon told her not to worry about it. Drusilla says to him that it was weird, one minute he was there and the next he was gone.

Talon leaves after breakfast, he goes out in the town and looks for a home and a job. Drusilla heads back to their room on the third floor. She opens the curtains, looks down and Lazarus is standing by the bushes that surround the hotel. She shakes her head, looks again, he still stands there. She closes the curtains, she becomes nervous, suspicious, and frightened. A few seconds later, she opens the curtains again, Lazarus is gone. She stands there nervously. She locks the door, waits for Talon to get back.

A few hours pass, Talon gets back to the hotel, he stands outside smoking a cigarette, Lazarus appears. Lazarus asks him if he has found a home and a job, Talon says to him that he hasn't. Lazarus tells him to take a ride with him, he wanted to show him the house that he has. Talon gets in the car with him, and they drive to his house that sits on a hill surrounded by many trees, some small and some are big.

"Where are we?" Talon asks.

Lazarus replied, "This is a house that I own, you and your family can stay here."

Talon looks to Lazarus, surprisingly....

"What!! You mean we can live here?" Talon asks again.

"Yes, it is yours if you want it." Lazarus said.

"I can't believe this! This is awesome of you to do this for us, you don't even know us." Talon said.

"This is how we do in London; we help people." Lazarus replied.

"We will take it!!! Thank you so much!!" I will tell Drusilla once we get back to the hotel. She will be happy about this." Talon said.

Lazarus drives Talon back to the hotel. Talon thanks him again and heads to the room. He walks into the room, excited, Drusilla stands by the window, nervously. Talon tells her that Lazarus is letting them stay at his house, he already checked it out and it is a beautiful home, it is also in a nice area. Drusilla tells him that something is weird about Lazarus, she told him one minute she saw him and the next minute he was gone. Talon told her that she must be seeing things, or being paranoid about something, maybe it is because they had just moved to London. Then he tells her that Lazarus picked him up at the hotel, maybe that is what she had seen.

"Babe, this is great news, we have a home!! Aren't you excited?" Talon asks.

Drusilla replied, "Yes babe, I am! I just keep getting these weird feeling about him."

"Stop, I think you may be just nervous, this is a whole new area and new people, different from what we ae used too." Talon said.

Drusilla replied, "Maybe you're right, maybe it's just me."

"I think it is just you are being nervous about the move. Lazarus told me that he will come back to pick us up, so we both can look at the house." Talon said.

"Did he say when?" Drusilla asked.

"Lazarus told me that he will be back in the area around noon. We are to meet him at the hotels front door." Talon said.

Talon, Drusilla, and Ambrosia walk outside of the hotel and stand by the door, Lazarus pulls up, gets out of the car, and opens the back door for Drusilla and Ambrosia, Talon sits in the front seat. He drives them to his house, when they arrive Drusilla looks amazed by how beautiful the house is, she's never seen anything like it. It was a two-story house, it has a white picket fence around the yard, it is made of a white marble stone. She instantly fell in love with it. She hurries to get out of the car to go inside, once they get inside, they could not believe how the inside looks. For a moment, Drusilla felt like she was in a dream, Lazarus told them to look around. Talon and Ambrosia walk upstairs to look at the rooms, Drusilla walks through the hallway, she sees pictures hanging on the wall, they are old paintings of old buildings that London had, as she walks towards the living room, she sees a drawing of a castle. Lazarus walks behind her, she turns around, she asks him where the castle is located, he stood there silently for a moment, then he tells her that it is a very old castle.

Drusilla walks into the dining room, there is a rectangle table made of polished wood, the chairs have a high back to them. She rubs her hand on the soft, smooth table, Lazarus stares at her, his pale skin set off his bloodshot eyes. He had to control himself before she could see the redness of his eyes. Lazarus becomes thirsty for her blood, he moves closer to her, he puts his hand on her shoulder.
