2 The First Secret

"What are you hiding? What's your deal?" He asks. "What's YOUR deal? Don't you have your girlfriend waiting for you back at the party?" I ask. He doesn't seem so harmful so I decide to put the pepper spray away without him noticing. "You mean Jessica? We broke up yesterday." He reply's. It's surprising, me and Jessica used to be so close before that started dating. In fact, I didn't know they were dating until I saw them kiss on March 15 last year.

"Honestly, I'd tell you but you don't know how to keep a secret." I say. "I will only if you go out with me" He says. "Forget it" I say. I walk into my house, leaving him outside.

I walk into my room, and I suddenly see all of my mothers things, in boxes. I start to hear yelling from next door, Then hitting, Then banging. I curl up in my bed and start to cry myself to sleep. Is this the time? The time my whole family falls apart? The time... I'll be alone?
