8 Silence

I stand a few hours without talking or even making contact with Jonathan. It's passing period and as I open my locker, he appears... "We have to talk about this sooner or later, Kait..." He says.

" Tell me why. Is there really anything to say? People and even I know you're going to have to leave me for Jessica." I say.

"Katie, I have no choice!" His voice escalates.

"If you're going to dump me in public for a pregnant woman, so be it Jonathan. I knew it was a mistake ever since that party to ever hang out with you." I slam my locker and walk away furiously.

"Katie come on." He yells from down the halls. I go in the girls bathroom and lock myself in the stall. I start to cry.

"Knock knock..." I hear Ashlynn as she comes in.

"Hey..." I say, wiping my nose with my hand.

"Can you let me in?" She asks in a very sympathetic voice. I unlock the stall door and she comes in. She sits down next to me and grabs my hand. "I'm so sorry for everything that's going on, but you have to be strong Kat... Don't cry over him." She advises.
