II

Ella is falling in line to order her snack when she hears students screaming inside the cafeteria. She doesn't mind at first because she thought it was just a normal riot of some nasty students, but then, she hears someone screamed in horror as if there is a ghost attacking them. She turns her look to where they are.

"Oh my gosh!"

"She's gonna kill her!"

"God! Oh, God. What kind of students they are? This school seemed to be a gangsters' academy," the waitress says in horror. Who would not be if you are seeing students in bloodbath fighting like gladiators who will end the game when the loser dies. But what Ella seeing now is different. The opponents are not both gladiators. They are predator-prey. Pity for a prey who doesn't know how to fight for her life. Well, does she?

"It is," she answers the waitress.

She stays where she is and watches how this bratty bitch Lancaster is doing her awful moves towards another female student who does not even seem to be a war freak, but a nerdy student. Ariela Lancaster. She does not know how to punch for real. It's only her bones that hurts her prey and not because she is good at what she is doing. Being skinny still has advantage. It made her think of how Lancasters were trained if they are family of gangsters. They are just the description of illiterate vigilant gangsters. Didn't they watch like MMA fights because she does.

"I thought she is sexy," someone beside her pops out of nowhere. He is tall and lean and has this sleepy eyes.

"Wondering if how she does in bed?"

He chuckles. "Mean.." He tosses her a pack of popcorn, but she tosses it back. "Got to go."

"Alright."

When he left, she turns back her look in the scene she was watching. There is already a teacher trying to stop the fight, but they are not listening to her. She even got a death glare from Ariela which made her to step back. Poor. What would just happen in this academy if the heirs to be are driving like nuts?

"Are you just gonna stand here?"

Her brows knit as she heard a familiar voice beside her.

"Just how many of you are here?" If she was enjoying the view a while ago now, she feels irritated. This feels like caged.

"Chill, Lady. Just the three of us," he said, eyes on the current scene.

[Three!] "I've seen Liam," he tells him.

"Jarex's here," he said, waving his hand and smiling like a popping cow. He is being alert from any attack she would blow.

"And the other one?"

"Over here, Lady!" Someone shouts from nowhere.

"You're eating all the carrots!" The waitress nags someone under the counter. She saw a carrot being tossed in the air and Jarex caught it, effortless.

"Thanks, Bro."

"Geez!" She gets three goats at a time. Can somebody tell her why they are here? She would not definitely buy 'to study' reason. She knew them. She looks at Jarex who is munching a piece of carrot. She throws him a 'you've got to explain' threat.

"Ah, Xerex. I think, I need your help," Jarex says, throwing the carrot he was eating.

"I was trying to hide myself, you know?"

Ella and Jarex have to look at the waitress. Then, Ella turns back her look to Jarex.

"Ella! Oh, my gosh. You're alive," out of nowhere someone screams and this earns others' attention for a while. Their attention went back to the fighting scene, eventually. Esther hugs Ella, tightly like she didn't want to loss her.

"You thought, I'm dead?"

"Ah, no! It's just that rumors about Ariela Lancaster beating a female student."

"I told you not to over think things." She gets out from Esther's tight hug. Esther will be the one to kill her. "I did nothing."

"Lancaster would not last a second, definitely," Jarex says, feeling relieved. Esther is his savior, eventually, but she only looks at him like he is some kind of stone who happened to speak. He furrows. No one has looked at him without appreciation. He is handsome and the world can even prove it. A bulb lights suddenly, but the eyes he meets are deadly enough for him to hold his lips from smiling. His greatest charm to get a girl in the fastest way was just swept in seconds. He really hated this lady, Ella. "Gotta go," is what he manages to say and never dared to look at Esther. He might be dead first before the girl Ariela Lancaster is beating. He left after he knocked over the counter. A knock from Xerex answers him.

"Do you—

"You know what, there's a cafe near here. My treat?" She cuts Esther from whatever she is going to ask. For sure, a question will be followed by another one.

"I wouldn't say, no." Food for free is just one of Esther's weaknesses. She even climbs to her shoulders and leads the way out.

Ella glances, one last time to Ariela Lancaster and the girl she is beating. The girl looks so pitiful, but she knew better about that girl. She pity Ariela for being such an idiot reckless brat. She catches the girl looking at her before they exited the canteen.

You'd not know how strong you are unless, you know what pain brings. Angels can still be demons at times they have to, but be careful of demons pretending to be a holy one.

When they arrived at the cafe she was referring, Esther initiates to make their order since it is her treat. When she leaves, Ella's phone vibrates in her pocket and she checks for it, immediately.

[Permission for Ll.] Is what the message contains.

[No need.] She replies before putting her phone back in her pocket. Few minutes pass before Esther gets back. "Hot guy?" She teases upon seeing her annoyed face.

"First come, last served. You know what that means? A! I really have to report those bitches," Esther complains and looks like, really pissed off. She doesn't complain on nonsense matters. Ella chuckles which made Esther's forehead creased. "Why are you laughing?"

"You looked like a mad smurf. D' you know what that is?" She teases her even more. She can't join such bad temper or both of them will end up stressful. They are just here for a snack, not for any war.

"I'm too pretty for a smurf, Ella." Esther is really mad by the tone of her voice, but Ella seems not to be affected at all. She knew how stubborn Esther is and she knew how she is when mad.

"They're just a few of rude people living on earth you know, so, if you'll just let them in your system, you'd be virus affected like a computer."

"You're always comparing me to things," Esther complains again.

"We live with those things."

"Not with smurfs."

"That's a different case." She laughs. Esther took it seriously.

After some more minutes, the time for their order came. Two supreme lasagnas with ice cream for their side dish. These looks so, delicious. Of course, this is her favorites.

"Enjoy your dine, Ma'am!" The waitress says with a smile, but there's a hint of something not to trust in her eyes. Ella catches that easily while Esther rolls her eyes, but she knew, it is not because they share the same thought.

"Hey," she calls out when the waitress was about to leave.

"A..ah.. Yes? Anything, Ma'am?" The waitress stutters and she now seems destructed and swallowed, unnoticeably.

Ella gets Esther's plate then, hands it over to the confused waitress. "My friend here seemed to lost her appetite. Eat it," she says in a very charming way that may look being so, friendly. Esther is also confused at how Ella is acting. Why give her food to this bitch?

"Ah, b..but—

"I'm not asking you. Eat it."

The waitress smiles, uneasy. She looks on the plate of food she is holding then, to Ella and Esther.

"But, Ma'am.."

"Yes? I only want you to eat that and it must be done here. Don't worry. I know the manager here and she won't be mad at you. Okay?"

They earn some attentions from nearby tables. It takes minutes and the waitress is still standing in front of them. This makes Ella get up from her seat and sits on the table with legs crossed, showing some skin of her right upper thigh. She looks like ready for a modeling pictorial with arms crossed over her chest, but this act of her causes more uneasiness on the part of the waitress. Yes, she has this kind of thing. She can only inflict her true aura to someone she wanted to without affecting their surroundings, unless, somebody is too observant and has a high sensitivity.

"You're making a customer wait? You want me to feed you, dear?" From the looks of the waitress, she knew she is years older than her. Ella uncrosses her legs then, stands up. The waitress steps back bumping someone behind. Ella gazes over the waitress' head. "Seems like your disobidience causes more trouble." All the attentions are turned to the young man who is now soaking wet in his upper school uniform while holding a tray of his food.

"Oh, my gosh!" Esther gasps, loudly after turning to see what Ella was saying about. She knew who he is.

Sean didn't even move nor speak. His eyes is on Ella. If she didn't threaten this waitress, he wouldn't end up spilling the juice on his uniform.

"Before you look at me like that, can we first check on the cctv?"

"Ella!" Esther wanted to stop her even confusion is all over her. Why ask Sean Lancaster to check the cctv? Is she really after death?

"Eat it as she told," Sean Lancaster's emotionless tone echoes in the place. He steps aside and pulls out a handkerchief from his pocket and used it to dry his spilled uniform. "Eat fast!" To the surprise of the waitress, she feeds spoonful of lasagna in her mouth that may choke her. Someone from the waiters almost throws out at the scene. He knew what is in the food because he was the one told to do it. He put a chopped cockcroah in it and that waitress on the scene even spit on the food. "Happy?"

"Not yet until you see what your staffs did," Ella answers confidently. She just can't let someone at fault to slip off her hands. Most of the staffs gasp as they didn't know that Sean is a Lancaster and is just one of their bosses. "I may say that food here is exemptional when it comes to taste, but not with flirtatious staffs like her and having some trashy attitude."

"I agree with the young lady," an old aged woman says, raising her hand. "Most of your female staffs here have no manners."

"Erase me in the scene and listen to your customer's comment."

"Noted," Sean says without any complain. He finds her having a point and she is really right. Even he really doesn't mind this kind of business his family has, the fact that he is considered a boss, he should act well. This lady just spilled his identity though he has no intention of hiding it. He was just confused how she knew they own this place?

"Thank you!" Ella's mood changes, suddenly and even bowed to a Lancaster. She is happy that at least there is someone from the Lancaster's who could take life seriously. She pulls Esther from her seat and they run away from that cafe.

Sean was left dumfounded at himself. He would say, that the lady he doesn't know and has encountered him the second time somewhat have a kind of aura which was a bit terrifying. Then, she shifted emotion so, sudden. Was it an act or something? And her smile— He sweeps away the thought about it, immediately. But another thought came in? Did he just follow an order from a nobody?

"ALL THE MANAGERS, IN THE OFFICE! TEN SECONDS."

"Ella! Hey, I'm tired." Esther pulls her hand from Ella that made both of them stop.

"Me too," Ella says, panting.

"Hey! Can you tell me, what happened beacuse I really don't get it."

Ella looks at Esther, unbelievably.

"If that was poison, you almost died. That waitress was the one you urged with, right?" Esther nods. "There was something in your food which is for sure she really intended to put." Esther looks at her, seriously. "Tip. Better nag anyone, but not someone who's gonna serve your food. Got it?"

"And what did she put in my food? It was her fault. That bitch!"

"Hey!" She better get a hold of Esther before she can even walk back to that cafe.

"Are you after death? I didn't took you away from that place just to go back and die."

"You were that—

Esther stops from whatever she has to say. The way Ella looks at her tells her side's story. Of course, no one would cross over a Lancaster especially in their place. She is just so, fortunate having a friend with such talent dealing around people.
