"We need to find him." The bulky man informed his companions. He touched the mask, then stared at his companions. He walked towards the gate when he saw that one of his men was secretly opening the gate. A smirk plastered on his lips, but no one could say how he smirked.

"Don't kill him. The boss wanted him alive and kicking; he wanted to torture him." He added. His companions quickly entered the big houses of the Thompson family. No one could hear their steps, for they're all trained to do everything silently.

He was sure that no one was still awake at that time. So, they will successfully do their plan to get the head of the Thompson family.

He moved his head; he signaled his other men to go upstairs. While he was too ready to find their target but they were all shocked when they saw a beautiful young woman.

"Ahh!" The young woman shouted in fear which caused the other family members to wake up. Her eyes widened while she stepped back; she held the plates that she was cleaning before the armed men went into their house.

"Bitch! How dare you scream like a freaking bitch!" The armed man immediately grabbed her hair. She tried to restrain herself, but she failed.

"Get the old man! We needed to get him as soon as possible!" The companions quickly obeyed his demand. Several minutes passed, and a scream came from the other family members. They were all dragged down to the first floor, and the armed men tied them with rope.

"Idiot. I said you should get the old man; I didn't tell you all that you should hostage the other members!" He frustratedly yelled. He almost couldn't breathe properly because of the mask on his face.

"Damn it; we need the head of the Thompson family! We don't need trash as a hostage!" He pulled the young woman, but when he looked at her face, he felt mesmerized by her beauty. He knew that the Thompson family had a beautiful lady like her, but he didn't know that he almost gasped whenever he saw her face.

The young woman's icy stares made him shiver in excitement. Her tiny pinkish lips were inviting him to taste it. He swallowed too hard when he saw her body; he couldn't remember that a woman got him an effect.

"What are you looking at?" He grinned when he saw the woman widen her eyes in anxiousness. He saw how she checked her family members with worries in her regard.

"Please, don't hurt my brother." The young woman pleaded. She trembled when she saw an armed man carrying a young boy. She tried to go to the young man, but the man stopped her by pulling her.

"Shut up, your one of my hostages. I could do whatever I wanted. Do you want me to kill your brother?" The man held her chin, and she winced in pain when he felt how he clenched her face. "Don't you dare tell me what I must do, young lady? I'm not one of your men."

"Sebastian!" She yelled his brother's name, which made the young man open his slowly. The young man didn't have any emotions on his face, but he was too calm when he saw that the unknown man was carrying him.

"Bitch, I will kill your brother!" The man pointed the gun at the young child.

"Solene!" Sebastian called the young woman while he was looking at the gun. He called her name but had no fear plastered on his face.

"P-Please, don't harm my brother. I can do anything that you want me to do." Solene pleaded. She almost kneeled in front of the armed men, tears slowly forming in her eyes.

"Okay, then remove your clothes. I want to see you naked." The man mocked her. He pointed the gun at her, which made his companions groan. It's not part of their plan. The boss told them to get the Head of the Thompson family, and harming a child and a woman wasn't part of it.

"We should stop this. The boss might find out what we are going to do. He might kill us. Let's stick to the plan." One of the companions commented.

"Ahh! You son of a bitch! Who are you all?" The older man screamed when one of the armed men took him. He dragged him to the first floor with his relatives.

"You should be thankful that you didn't know us. It looks like you did something wrong to my boss." The older man started to restrain him, but the armed man held him tightly.

"I want this woman. Let's take her, too." The man grinned when Solene began to freak out. She was shoving him when the man fell on her. Blood went to her face, which made her scream too loud.

"Solene, what happened?" The older man knew that it was Solene because of her voice. He tried to mask his worry to her granddaughter. His heart began thumping so fast that he almost couldn't breathe properly anymore.

"Solene!" Sebastian runs towards his sister. He saw how their nasty relatives tried to be free from the rope.

"Sebastian untied us first. Your bitch sister is safe, you dimwit!" Sebastian gnashed his teeth, but he obeyed quickly. After he untied them, they started complaining, but a man was fighting with the other companions.

"What did you all need from me? I don't even remember that I have an enemy!" The older man clenched his fist when no one went to him to help him.

"If you think you don't have, you should start thinking about what you did to my boss. Did you think we would be scared of you because you're a Thompson? You're just a piece of shit, older man!" The man pointed his gun at his head, but the older man didn't try to move. He gulped.

"Let's see if you will be treated right in hell once I pull the trigger." The man added. He was about to pull the trigger when the man shouted in pain.

The older man was astounded when he heard a loud bang before the man fell on the floor.

"Bruce!" The older man whispered the man's name, who helped him. He wanted to thank him, but his pride was preventing him. He couldn't believe that his driver had helped and saved him either from these armed men.

Bruce didn't talk or ask him if he was alright; instead, he moved closer and helped him to walk. The older man tried to walk, but his knees shivered. Worry flashed on his face when he remembered his granddaughter.

"Solene was alright. You don't need to worry about her." Bruce stated, which made him scowl.

"What makes you think that I'm worried about that bitch? She was a disgrace to my family!" The older man walked towards his family members, but he secretly glanced at Solene, who hugged her brother tightly.

He sighed deeply. He was thankful that his family was safe because of Bruce. He slowly wanted to go to Solene, but he stopped when he saw a man pointing his gun to her.

"Don't you dare move, or I will shoot this bitch head!" The man winced when he felt his wounds throbbing. He gritted his teeth when he saw Bruce beside their target.

"Daddy, let's go! It's Solene that this man wants!"

"Yeah, she's a disgrace to our family, so it's alright if she dies."

The older man gasped after he heard how selfish his family members were. They all wanted to leave Solene for their safety.

"It's alright to all of us if you take her with you, but please, don't harm us. We still have a family!"

The armed man started to laugh when he saw how selfish the Thompson family was. They're willing to sacrifice Solene for their safety. He shook his head in disgust.

"This is all your family relatives, young lady. They're willing to give you to me in exchange for themselves. I felt bad for you." The man whispered those words, but they all heard it.

Solene closed her eyes. A tear flowed down her pinkish cheek. She glimpsed at her grandfather and then shook her head. She slowly tasted the bitterness on her tongue. She secretly hoped that her parents were still alive. She knew that they wouldn't treat her like this.

She gulped as the tears continued to come out of her eyes. When she saw Bruce was watching her, she clenched her teeth. She gradually removed her hands from Sebastian.

"No, Solene!" Sebastian started to whimper when he discerned what Solene was planning to do.

"S-Sebastian, you should go there. Don't worry about me." She muttered as she pushed Sebastian. Her eyes reddened in sadness, and she avoided her eyes to her brother.

"No! You're my sister." Sebastian sobbed when the older man grabbed him away from Solene. But the armed man changed his target and immediately pointed the gun at the older man.

"You will die, Mr. Thompson." He shouted as he pulled the trigger. Solene was shocked, and she ran toward her grandfather. She coughed blood when the bullet came into her back.

"Solene! P-Please, don't die." Sebastian's voice cracked when she fell to the ground. The armed man fell to the ground when Bruce shot him in the head.

"S-Sebastian," Solene whispered, but before she closed her eyes, a tear fell on her cheeks. She didn't want to die, but she lost consciousness when Sebastian held her using his tiny arms.
