3 Chapter 2

Time to find a place where I can shift without anyone seeing me. I thought. I ran to the woods and shifted into a green dragon with blood red eyes. I took off into the air, flapping my wings, soaring through the sky. I love the feeling of the wind beneath my wings. I flew higher and higher in the sky, until I couldn't fly any higher. I dived down and landed on the branch of a tree, that's when I heard a voice.

"Chara? Is that you? It's me, Konner Cat." Konner said.

I jumped down from the tree branch and looked down at Konner, letting him see my blood red eyes.

"So it is you. It's nice to finally meet you in your dragon form. Will you please shift back so we can talk?"

I nodded and shifted back to human. "What is it that you want to talk about?" I asked.

"I want to know why all the Dragon Shifters have disappeared. I figured I could ask you why I can't find anything on the internet about them. Where have they all gone and why are you the only one out of hiding?" Konner asked.

"The Dragon Shifters are extinct. I deleted all information on Dragon Shifters off the internet. I am the only living Dragon Shifter." I answered.

"That means you are the queen of the Dragon Shifters. You have access to the Shifter website. You can control what information the other Shifters know about you and the Dragon Shifters. The other Shifters need to know that the Dragon Shifters have gone extinct. Come with me, my parents want to meet you and I have a computer. You can give me access to the information about Dragon Shifters!" Konner said.

"I cannot give you access but I can show you the information. Take me to your house and you will get the information you need." I told Konner. We walked through the woods towards a cabin, I stayed quiet the entire time we were walking. Once we reached the cabin, Konner knocked on the door.

"Mom, I brought her here." Konner said. Then the door opened, there was a woman who had the hair of an orange tabby cat.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Kat, Konner's sister," she looked at Konner, "Mom isn't home from the Hunt yet. Dad is home though." Kat said.

"Kat, sweetie, let your brother and the Dragon Shifter in please." a manly voice announced from what I assumed was the kitchen.

Kat gasped, "Y-your a D-Dragon Shifter?!?!?!?!" she asked.

I nodded and said, "I am the only living Dragon Shifter, the rest have been extinct for 5 years. I only lived because I gave away the information on how to kill a Dragon Shifter in both human and dragon form. I've been told that you want information on Dragon Shifters. I will give the information needed."

The man walked out of the kitchen and said, "You betrayed your own kind in order to live? That is not right, Shifters of the same kind stick together!" He had the hair of a snow leopard.

"I am a loner. In wolf packs, there are never loners. But outside of the packs there are loners. I was never accepted by my own kind. They insulted me for having the powers of the moon and the eyesight of a wolf. It was not my fault for being this way. My mother knew what she was doing when she met my father. She knew what powers I would have when she learned that she was pregnant. I have no kin. I am a Dragon Shifter and a Wolf Shifter! Whatever it is that you want to know about the Dragon Shifters is mine to share, whether it be willingly or not. I will hold back information if I feel the need to. Now, what is it that you are so desperate to know about Dragon Shifters?" I snapped at the snow leopard haired man.

"We want to know any useful information on what was the Dragon Shifters. My name is Kam." Kam told me. "So what can you tell us Hybrid Shifter?"
