51 Focus on your work

(Megan POV)

When I looked at Joe falling from the chair, fear comes to me. As I looked at Marcus, and while he looked at me, he said: "who ordered food."

"Me," Sofia said. While hearing her words, I looked at her, and when I was doing it, I walked to Marcus, and while being there, I said: "something is happening."

"Allergy," he said, and while hearing his words, I looked at what is there, and while seeing seafood, I said, "so for seafood."

"Probably," he said, and while I was looking at him, he said, "babe goes to the car. My bag is there."

"OK," Alice said while rushing away, and when she comes back, Marcus take Joe, and when he moved him to the couch, he started looking at what he has inside. After finding what he wanted, he injected it into Joe. When he has done this, he said, "now it should be good."

"But why this has happened," Sofia said, and while I looked at her, I said, "who knows."

"Probably there was something that he can't eat," Marcus said, and when he kneels and started checking Joe, he added after a few seconds of us looking at him, "he will be all right."

"Good," I said, and when slowly I started calming down, I said, "Alice, check who deliver it."

"OK," Alice said, and when Marcus looked at me, he said, "you think."

"Yes, I remember that I saw him eating seafood," I said, and when Marcus looked at me, he started examining Joe more. When he was doing it, for a short time, he said, "he looks better now."

"Good," I said, and when Alice looked from her laptop, she said, "nothing normal about delivery."

"So what it can be," I said, and while I looked at her, I walked to her, and as I looked at the screen. After I was looking at the screen, I saw the face of the delivery man somewhere. While I looked at him, I said, "check if you have a better photo of him."

"OK," Alice said, and when she started checking, she saw me one, and while seeing it, I take my phone, and after, I directed one number. When the person on the other side answered, I said, "my house now."

While hearing my tone, everyone looked at me, and then Sofia said, "you want to use them."

"Yes," I said.

"Oh fuck," Alice said, and while she looked at me, she added, "I thought that you stopped it."

"Not fully, I still have some control there," I said, and as I looked at her, Alice comes back to looking more in her laptop while I waited for the person who I called to come, while I looked at Joe. When I was doing it, after a few minutes, I could hear ringing to doors. While hearing it, I walked there, and while I looked at the person in front of me, he asked, "something you want from us, miss."

"Alice," I said, and while hearing me, she comes closer, and when she shows the photo, I said, "Russians, so you know what this means."

"Yes, ma'am, we will deal with it now," he said, and when I nodded, he walked away. While seeing it, I said, "it might be one of the last requests from me."

"Don't worry, we will always on your call," he said, and as he walked away, I close the doors, and then I walked back, and while I take all boxes with food, I throw them away. When I had done this, Marcus said, "so now."

"Now, I don't know, but if they attacked me here, it might be bad," I said.

"But if you weren't a target," he asked.

"So who," I said.

"I don't know," Marcus said, and while he looked at me, he added, "we will know in some time. Now, I need to be here, to check on Joe."

"OK," I said, and when I looked at the girls, I said, "let's go."

"OK," they said, and as we walked to my office, I sit there, and while I started my computer, I log in to the base for the first time after three years. As I started looking there, Alice said, "Meg, what are you doing."

"Something," I said, and then Sofia grabbed my hand, and she said, "you have promised."

"Yes, but look what has happened to Joe," I screamed, and when she heard me, she hugged me, and she said, "all will be OK."

"I hope so," I said, and when I looked at the screen there more, I said, "I need to call grandpa."

"OK," they said, and when I looked at my phone, I choose his number, and when he answered not long after, he said, "oh my child, something has happened".

"Not so much, but grandpa, I have a question," I said.

"Ask me, child, anything," he said.

"Do you know who has bad blood with us?" I asked.

"Everything is a deal now, so nothing should be bad," he said, and before I could ask him something, he added, "but I will deal with it, so don't worry child, all will be good. Focus on your work there and make us happy."

"I will," I said, and when I hang out, I looked at the room, and while being alone, I looked at a page which was still open, and as I was doing it, I found there nothing, and as I close it, I said, "They will pay," and then I walked out. When I looked around, I could see that Alice disappeared, and then I said: "where is Alice."

"Shop she is buying food as you have nothing," Paula said. While I looked at her, I said, "oh well."

"OK, so what now," Sofia asked.

"Now we need to check how is going in the company," I said.

"I talked not long ago all, is good, and all should be cleaned, soon," Sofia said.

"OK," I said, and when I looked at her, Eve and Alice come, and then Alice said, "food will be here soon."

"OK," I said, and when I looked at her, she started making food while I could hear that Joe, is waking up.
