17 Epilogue

'Thank you thank you thank you!!! You are the best, Emily-chan!!!' Luna told them. Emily smiled. 'So, in return, I'll teach you a few tricks to pass SETS ILab.' Luna offered. 'Wow! I'm jealous!' Natalie protested. The girls giggled.

'So, as a return for rescuing me from the triad gang, I propose a summer vacation in my vacation house! That was the most horrible experience I've ever had!' Luna exclaimed. 'But, lucky you 'cause both your duet and Triumvirate is a great success. Emily just said that your single Parallel World is all sold out in twenty minutes.' Natalie replied. (Wow! I envy them so much!)

'Whatever. I have no idea what you girls are talking about.' Edward sighed. 'When will we go? I have a lot of bridging courses next month because in September, I'm a form one student and I'm gonna study in the best school in Hong Kong! St Paul Co-educational College!! The number one school, according to the tiger, helicopter and monster parents!! Yasssss!!!!' he continued. (Seriously, Eddy? But this is 100% true. I'm in the UK, but I'm very concerned about the 'top schools' ranking ^if you're not from HK your school will be classified into band one, two and three, plus the exact position^ because my school is one of the top ones šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ¤£)

'Okay, then. Maybe... the Tenth of August? That's two days after Natalie's ninth birthday. And it's a Friday. So we have a little vacation for two days, Saturday the eleventh, and Sunday the twelfth. Is that okay?' Luna suggested. 'That's fine for me.' Edward replied. 'And fine for me, Noelle and Nicole too. Emily is fine on that day too, right, Ching Ching?' 'I am! Okay! Let's meet there!!!' Emily smiled and did a victory sign.

'Okay!!! FRIENDSHIP RULES!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!' The children cheered, and ran off towards the nearest MTR station, while starring up at the glimmering night sky...

'Mommy, can I not move to Sunrise Towers? It is so scary!!!' Emily tried to persuade her parents. 'What? Why?' Mr Chen asked. 'Because Jessalyn, Luna and even the Chings live there and look what happened!!' Emily waved the newspaper.

'Sunrise Tower Case, one dead and one kidnapped. Case closed! Wow! The murderer looks scary.' Mr Chen nodded. 'I don't want to live there!! Can I CanI??'

'Actually, We're gonna move to SUNSHINE towers. Don't be afraid, Ching Ching.'

'W-WHAT???? I was the one w-who?????'

Awww Great...'

One month later...

'Whoa!!! Good morning!!' It's summer vacation, still two weeks to go to Luna's promised sleepover. 'Oha, Emily.' Natalie smiled. They were spending the day at their school, for the upcoming school year.

'It seems like yesterday when I first arrived here and look! I'm in grade four now!!! And I've just solved my first mystery!' Emily exclaimed, still in her grade-school-kid voice, but she has grown up a bit since then.

From chapter one, she has matured a bit, while staying almost the same to when she first started.

Natalie smiled. Both of them were wearing their school uniform, as well as a necklace Luna gave them.

Emily fondled her pink necklace, and grinned with a cocky expression. She looked at the shining sky.

'I'm nine, but I've just solved my first murder mystery. What adventures will come next??'
