4 Amazing Love

"Anna."

Anna lifted her head when she heard a male voice calling her name.

"Am I bothering you?" he asked in a soft voice. But he didn't get an answer from the person he was talking to, just kept quiet and looked at him confused.

"I'm Rezky, Fateh's high school friend," he explained guessing Anna's thoughts.

Anna who is like this is far from being kind, that's what this man can conclude. Seeing Anna who got up with a little difficulty from sitting for too long with her head lowered, he wanted to help, but he knew that Anna wouldn't be comfortable with physical contact so he didn't.

Anna stood up while patting her dress lightly, she saw the umbrella that was still loyal above her head, she finally knew why she didn't feel the rain soaking her, it turned out that this man was the culprit.

Rezky, who understood the meaning of the gaze, immediately removed the umbrella he was using to protect Anna from the rain.

When he arrived five minutes ago, he saw Anna crouched on the mound and letting herself get wet. Even Anna didn't notice his presence, didn't want to disturb her, she slowly put the flower she brought on the grave and silently prayed.

Seeing Anna who didn't move with her initiative, she used her umbrella to cover Anna. It doesn't matter if he gets wet himself.

"I'm sorry," he said again, staring at the gravestone.

He was shocked when he heard the news of the death of his best friend, and what he regretted more was that he could not be present on the day of the accident.

"Thank you," answered Anna at last. She remembered this man, several times Fateh had asked him to meet his high school friends, and this man was one of them.

This man even visited Fateh when he was in a coma at the hospital.

"He always looked good, never complained, even I thought he died in the accident," he said quietly. But this time he turned and looked at Anna who was staring sadly at the gravestone of her late husband. There were no tears, but the traces were visible.

"Even with me, he didn't say it," answered Anna flatly with pain when she said those words, after that she took her umbrella and turned to leave without looking at the person she was talking to.

Rezky who heard the truth was surprised, looked back at the tomb, and muttered to himself.

'Your love is extraordinary, even until the end you keep his heart.'

"Let me drive you, I happen to want to visit." He offered politely, he had aligned his steps with Anna's, but all he got was a waiver from the woman.

Receiving a subtle refusal, he only smiled faintly, he admired Anna's nature, which was not easy to be friendly with the opposite sex from the past.

He walked into the car and drove slowly to stay behind Anna not too far away. He could see she was trying to be strong, but in reality, she was very fragile.

Fateh is such a big influence in this beautiful woman's life, how could this woman be able to get through so easily, he thought.

Fifteen minutes passed and Anna arrived home soaking wet, she entered the gate with small steps, and the security guard immediately rushed to bring an umbrella, but again Anna refused.

"Oh my God Anna!" Fania screamed from inside the house and immediately rushed to Anna who was already soaking wet. She had been waiting for his sister-in-law.

"I'm fine," she said flatly. Anna politely refuses Fania's help.

"That's fine, see your face is already pale like this, let's clean your body." Invite Fania in a slightly annoyed voice mixed with worry.

She could hear Anna's teeth chattering from shivering and her body shaking slightly from the cold.

"Excuse me," someone said. Fania turned towards the source of the voice but not Anna.

She let go of Fania's hand that was holding her wrist and entered the house and walked towards the room, she needed a warm bath now.

"Who is it?" Ask Fania. She did not realize that the person she had been waiting for had let go of his hand and walked away leaving him and the guest. The guests who came did not look foreign but Fania forgot where she had seen him.

"I'm Rezky, a friend of the deceased. I happened to be crossing, so all of you stopped by for a gathering," he explained.

He could see Fania's confused look, turning into a sad one as soon as she explained who she was.

"Anna, we-" She turned to the place where Anna was standing, but he could no longer find his sister-in-law. 'Anna must be in her room he thought.

Rezky noticed Anna's small movement which refused Fania's attention.

"Then come in and sit down, I'll call Fitra," she said with a friendly smile. And nodding by the man, the man then went to the sofa and sat down. He used to visit this house often when he was in high school.

Arriving at Anna's room, she went straight to the bathroom, removed all the attached clothes, and lay down in the bath, letting the warm water slowly soak her body, she closed her eyes trying to enjoy this warmth.

Unknowingly Anna fell asleep, maybe because her body, mind, heart, and soul were so tired that she fell asleep so easily.

Meanwhile, the cell phone on the nightstand kept ringing non-stop.

**

'CK!'

Alya clicked annoyed as she threw her cell phone on the bed, she lay down and stared at the ceiling. Thinking about what has happened in the last two months is heart-wrenching.

His beloved sister-in-law left in a sudden manner plus Anna who turned into an undead, really made him want to go crazy.

Tok...Tok...Tok

"Enter." His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a knock on his bedroom door, it was his brother.

"Not answered?" he asked Alya after entering, then walked over and sat on the edge of Alya's bed, he knew that Alya had always tried to contact Anna since the trip.

Alya shook her head weakly in response, then looked at her sister sadly, "does Anna not want to talk to us anymore?" she asked worriedly.

"Don't overdo it, Al, how could Anna not want to talk to her handsome and beautiful brother and sister?" he said softly while squinting at Alya's teasing eyes, he didn't want his sister to think hard.

"I'm serious! Anna looks so foreign to me, I don't even recognize her gaze," she said to her sister, imagining Anna. Ammar also thought the same thing but he didn't tell Alya.

"It's just your thoughts, We know very well how she was used to living with the deceased, everything happened so suddenly for her, Anna who had never experienced anything painful before of course this was the heaviest blow," he replied.

He caressed Alya's affection, even though Anna and Alya were already categorized as adult women but for him, they were still his favorite little sister, he couldn't stand to see them hurt and cry, but what happened to Anna was something beyond his control as a human.

"This is also hard for us, those of us who are used to Fateh will not easily get used to it without him, so you can imagine how Anna has to deal with it," he continued, giving understanding to his sister. After that, he kissed Alya's forehead.

"Now you go to sleep, later at dinner mbo inah will call you," he said. Then he walked out leaving Alya who was already lying down. If he says sleep, then Alya should sleep. Although Ammar spoils Alya and Anna very much, Ammar is very strict in educating.

"Amm ...," She called when Ammar was holding the door handle getting ready to leave. Hearing Alya's call, Ammar immediately turned to look at his sister and waited for Alya's next words.

"Just cancel Anna's wedding plans with that man," she said softly, looking at Ammar expectantly. He didn't want to bear Anna's anger and disappointment anymore.

"Rest Alya." The response that Alya did not expect was given by Ammar. Then, he covered his entire body with a blanket, he needed a break.

'If I can, I don't want the wedding to happen either, sis!' He thought. Taking a deep breath, he left Alya's room.

*****

"Rezky," Fitra greeted when she arrived in the living room.

"Fitra," Fitra replied, standing up straight away, extending his hand, and being greeted by Fitra.

"Please, sit." Fitra invited her guest with a hand signal and Rezky nodded.

"Sorry, I came at the wrong time," he said politely.

"It's ok," Fitra replied calmly. He knew quite well the handsome man in front of him.

"I just found out that Fateh has a disease, so far when I meet him, he looks more healthy than a healthy person," he said opening the conversation. He recalled how his friend always smiled and talked a lot when he met or chatted on the cell phone.

"He doesn't want his wife to know," said Fitra.

"Yes, Anna also said that earlier," he said confirming Fitra's words.

"You met Anna?" he asked with furrowed brows.

"Yes, when I swapped, I met Anna and greeted her, but when I offered her a ride she refused," he explained and Fitra's response was silence.

"How's auntie?" he asked again. He wanted to know about Fateh's mother, who was very kind and beautiful, even though she was more than 50 years old.

"Not as bad as Anna, mama has tried to accept and be sincere," replied Fitra.

"Rezky," said a middle-aged woman, interrupting her son and the intended guest, carrying a tray containing two cups of warm tea. When Fania told her that Fateh's high school friend was coming, she offered to deliver the drink directly, she wanted to see who her late son's friend was.

"Auntie," replied Rezky while helping Maira put the tray on the table and immediately hugged this middle-aged woman warmly, she already treated Maira like her own mother.

"How are you?" Maira asked after breaking the hug and looking at Rezky affectionately, her eyes filled with tears. Fateh's best friend who Fateh always brought home when he was in school.

"I'm fine, aunt how are you? Sorry, when Fateh's last day left I couldn't attend, I also got the news after 2 days," he said back while looking at his friend's mother affectionately.

"Better than before son, it doesn't matter what is important now that you have come, have you changed?" she answered softly while asking back with the mother's gaze to her child.

"Yes, I met Anna in the grave," he answered, nodding affectionately at the back of Maira's hand.

"Oh, fortunately, you reminded me about Anna, auntie almost forgot that she was preparing porridge for her, it's been raining all day she needs warm food so she doesn't have a fever, then you talk with Fitra first, aunt will come back, and have dinner here," he said long wide with an eager offer, then he departed from them.

Fitra, who saw the interaction between the two, understood the change in her mother's attitude, she understood that her mother felt a little healed because of the presence of Rezky, who was a close friend of the deceased.

"What are your activities now?" Fitra asked while sipping her tea.

"I'm a police officer who works in a remote area, that's why I got the info late because the signal is difficult to reach," he answered politely.

Fitra had guessed from the start that her sister's best friend must have worked in the security sector because it was very clear from her demeanor and her physical form.

"Stay for dinner, mama can only smile when she sees you," said Fitra. And that was the longest sentence Rezky had ever received while knowing his friend's brother.

"Yes, of course," he answered firmly. After that, they chatted lightly about anything but the deceased.
