Chapter 3: The Confrontation

Ace's POV

"Pre, seryoso 'to? All this time, Ace, you're into guys? Warapak!" sigaw ni Chester at sobrang gulat siya sa akin at pakiramdam ko iniisip niya I'm gay.

"Akala ko gustong gusto mo 'yung mga malalaki at malalambot na mmmmmm!" gigil na pagkakasabi ni Harry habang pinapakita niya na may pinipisil siyang malambot na bagay.

"Pag-usapan natin 'to, Ace. Ano nangyari? Bakit nagkaganito ka? Ikaw pa 'yung naguudyok sa amin ni Harry sa panonood ng porn—" sinabi ni Chester.

"Straight porn!" Harry added. "Do you not like boobs anymore? Gusto mo na ng dicks?"

I did an eye-roll along with a disappointed face. This is why I don't want to tell people that I'm into this kind of stuff—they'll think I'm gay!

"First of all, I'm not gay! Second, I'm not into guys, and third I'm still into boobies!" I explained.

"Eh ano 'to?" Chester showing me 2 whole pages of a manga, "Nagdidilaan? Malaway pre! Dalawang lalake 'to. Are you sure this isn't 'Gay' for you?"

If I wanted to educate people that liking yaoi or BL stuff doesn't make you gay, I need to start of with my two closest friends.

"Ang tawag d'yan... appreciation for love!" I added, "If I'm reading or watching 2 girls making out, does that make me a lesbian?"

Napaisip bigla sina Harry at Chester sa sinabi ko at para silang natauhan... ng slight!

"Pero kailan pa 'to? How did you end up liking this kind of stuff?" Tanong ni Chester.

"About a month ago." I grabbed the "The Titan's Bride" manga from Harry's hand and showed it to them, "This manga is what made me liked this kind of stuff."

"So... gay ka na nga talaga?" natatawang tanong ni Harry.

"No!" I shouted, but I'm not that angry. Gusto ko lang sila maliwanagan.

"Then ano? Explain." Chester added.

"Okay ganito... I'm still straight 101% for the record. It's just that hindi ko maipaliwanag pero it's giving me this intense emotions lalo na nung una kong mabasa 'tong manga. I know this may look gay for you, but it's not for me. I'm just enjoying how they are expressing themselves and kakaiba kasi 'yung pakiramdam na para bang it's interesting to see both guys. Pero I'm not into guys! And just to straight things out, kung nasa isip niyo na baka may gusto ako sa inyong dalawa, no, nagkakamali kayo. You're both disgusting to my eyes, but as a good sign cause you're both my friends. And I just like to see or ship two other guys being in love with each other and that's it. I'm still straight, I'm still the same guy na nakilala niyo. It's just that I just turned into a straight 'Fudanshi'." mahabang paliwanagan ko sa kanila.

"Pudan...what?" Chester asked and looked at Harry.

"Pandanshi? Ewan, 'yun narinig ko." Harry answered.

"FU-DAN-SHI!" I shouted.

"Oh ano naman 'yung Fudanshi na 'yan?" Chester asked.

"Okay, alam ko alam niyo kung ano 'yung 'Fujoshi' right?" I asked to the both of them with both of my eyebrows raising.

"Oo, 'yun yung mga babaeng mahilig sa mga ganitong content." sinabi ni Chester.

"Ah, so you mean na 'Fudanshi' ang tawag sa mga guys na mahilig sa ganitong content, tama ba ako?" Harry asked.

"Yes, you're definitely right, my friend." I answered.

"So sinasabi mo ba na isa kang 'Fudanshi' pero straight ka pa rin and you're still into girls and boobies pero gusto mo din nakakakita ng dalawang lalaki na nagiibigan?" Chester asked.

"Yes!"

"Sorry, hindi ko pa rin talaga maintindihan, Ace." natatawang sinabi ni Chester, "Pero 'wag ka mag alala, Ace. I'm still you're friend and kung nahilig ka sa ganito lately, okay lang naman sa akin. But may isang wish lang ako."

"What's that? Na wag ma-inlove sa'yo or kay Harry? If that's what you wanted to say, then my answer is infinitely yes I want and I never will!"

"Good!" natatawang sinabi ni Chester.

"But..." I added, "minsan, shiniship ko kayong dalawa ni Harry!" natatawa kong sinabi.

"What the!" gulat na sinabi Chester.

"Sorry guys, pero bagay kayong dalawa sa paningin ko.  Haha!" I answered.

"Baliw ka, Ace. 'Wag mo nga ko pinapartner kay Chester. Kababuyan ng tao na 'to!" hirit ni Harry na parang nandidiri siya.

"So you guys won't be together in the future?" I smiled with an evil face.

"No!" sabay na sinigaw nina Harry and Chester.

"Okay, let's make a deal. By just one... two months, if maging partner kayong dalawa, you'll give me five thousand pesos each." I smirked but I don't know why I did that however, I'm feeling confident na magiging silang dalawa in the near future.

"And what if we don't? You owe us five thousand each?" Chester asked.

"Sure!" I answered.

"Dude, Chester, ready na ko makatanggap ng five thousand. Ikaw ba?" Harry said to Chester.

"Gusto ko na nga mag two months! Ready mo na ten thousand mo, Ace. Makikipag deal ka na lang 'yung pabor pa sa amin." Chester added.

Sa totoo lang, I don't know what I'm doing. Haha!

Bakit ko ba naisip 'to na gawin? But since I'm here, I need to make sure na magiging sila in just two months!

"Okay lang. Haha!" I answered while tinatago na ang manga sa cabinet and no need to lock it since I'm busted.

"Pero, Ace, curious pa rin ako. Ano talaga tumatakbo sa isip mo?" Harry asked me.

"Ang alin? Kapag nagbabasa ako ng yaoi manga?" I asked.

"Oo."

"Well, I think of them as a normal couple like you would do with normal hetero couple. It's just that there's passion sa pagbabasa ng yaoi manga. There's something that it gives you... a rising tension kumbaga na wala sa mga straight couples. Why? You want to read them?"

"No." Harry answered and umiling siya ng napakabilis.

"You, Chester, gusto mo itry basahin?" I looked at Chester and smiled.

"No! Sa'yo na 'yan!" Chester shouted.

I closed my cabinet that's full of yaoi manga and went back to my bed and focused on my business, and that's to read "Junjou Romantica".

While I'm doing my own business, nakatayo pa rin sina Chester and Harry at the same spot where I left them, sa tapat ng cabinet ko na may mga yaoi manga, and they are looking at me while I'm reading.

"Bakit kayo nakatingin sa akin? You wanna read this too?" I asked.

"Nope! Maghihilamos pa ako." Chester said and went to the bathroom.

"Magpapalit lang ako ng damit." Harry said.

Now that wala na sa akin ang attention nila, I'll need to make a plan, a plan that not only na maging mag partner sila, pero i-satisfy at i-fulfill ang Fudanshi needs ko. While I'm shipping then, mas pabor sa akin 'yun and once na maging mag partner sila, instant ten K! Haha!

But, at the same time, naisip ko na am I not hurting them? I mean, we are friends pero if naging mag partner silang dalawa, hindi kaya ma-jeopardize ang friendship naming tatlo dahil since nursery, kami na ang magkakasama. What if naging magpartner nga sila and hindi nag work out gaya ng mga nababasa ko sa mga yaoi manga? But then again, this is reality, at bahala na siguro if that time comes.

Pero I'm happy na they are still my friends after explaining to them about being a Fudanshi. Akala ko mandidiri sila sa akin but no. I guess it's just a matter or enlightenment sa mga tao? But I hope that someday, this will be normal and we don't need to hide these kinds of interests.

Phone beeping

As I looked at my phone, I received a notification. I got excited kasi somebody just invited me sa isang group of Fudanshis... and not just a group of Fudanshis... but a group of straight guys who are Fudanshis! Hell yeah!
