25 The First Day.

"Do I look okay?" I asked Luke for the tenth time as I came out of my room.

"You look great, McKenna. It's time for you to go now. We don't want to keep Dixxy waiting." He said. I asked him to accompany me to the company as it's my first day today, he said yes. Vicky was more than happy to look after the house and take care of Liam as I worked.

"Dixxy? Seriously? What are you, 12?" I said and groaned. "No matter what you say, I feel like it's still not good enough." I walked into my room to change for what feels like the umpteenth time today. I made my way into the closet, looking for another piece of clothing. Luke came in, grabbed the shirt I was checking out, threw it on the floor, and dragged me out of the closet.

"Hey, I wanted to check that out. You didn't have to go all Hulk on me." I whined. He grabbed my purse and keys.
