Sitting in the backseat of the car, Evan Livares was waiting for his biological father with a restless mind. He often glanced at his wristwatch and noticed that three minutes were yet to pass for the number of minutes to turn to ten. However, he already felt like going back there again.

Evan looked outside and noticed how Carlo stood near the car door. No matter how much he thought about it, he doubted that the right-hand man would let him get back inside, especially when it hadn't even been 10 minutes as promised.

Nevertheless, Evan eventually lost his patience and opened the car door. Just as he thought, he only managed to get a leg out when Carlo turned to him and stopped him from getting off. Then Evan instantly frowned. "Move aside."

"Please stay there, Young Master," Carlo said with his usual formal tone and demeanor. "He will be back soon."
