The penthouse was occupied by silence as Evan Livares stared at his biological father, struggling to come up with words to say.

He seemed to often miss the fact that they were father and son? He knew that it was possible because, for him, the Livares were always his true family. It was impossible for him to not do anything while they were in danger because of him!

Nevertheless, he also understood his birth father's stance and it was why it was so hard for him to say anything. He was sandwiched between his birth father and his biological family and the thought was quite suffocating at some point.
