Misfortune exam results

"Hey Raki, results going to be out today."

Raki only wave her head to answer back Aruni's question but she didn't say anything. No one thought the result will be realizing very soon. Not everyone but only three of them hated to see their own results. Rangika started to worship god to disappear their results. She shouts to the sky holding her hand in the top of head.

"Please, my lord I don't want to go that miserable mountain."

Once more Aruni shouted because she wants to imagine that exam results not out yet. She is forcing her to believe this is a dream those three of them are seen together in the evening. Raki merely listen to her buddy's conversation, however her whole attention was on her new music melody that she created just now. She played her guitar very slowly while listening to her friend's nonsense.

"We have to go, if we pass the exam."

Thus far, she didn't say anything regarding to the matter, although her words came from the mouth covered with disappoint. As much as friends, she also doesn't want to go to the mountain.

"That's truth. This time paper was very easy. When I'm seeing those terrible questions, I couldn't block myself to stop writing answers. I never thought paper will easy like that. I'm 100% sure I'll pass the exam."

Rangika was disappointed about her past reaction against the exam. If she wrote wrong answers for the exam she thought, she'll not suffer like this. Nearly two years they have done this fabrication for the teachers and escape from this situation, but now unfortunately they are in a situation that they couldn't change if they pass the exam.

"I have a feeling that this exam easy, because of Miss Ganga teacher."

"I'm also thought that. Don't you remember how she blame us when we fail the last exam? She always tries to force us to go to this hell."

Aruni and Rangika also assumed her friend was true about Ganga teacher. Miss Ganga is one of a head-teacher in the city school. She could control every exam paper and lecture the students.

School principal also in a surprise after thinking what occurred to those three cheerful schoolgirls unexpectedly. Allowing to school after finishing high studies all school children must move into a mountain for their highest education. From the 1st grade to today these three of them studied in this school, so it's become a serious reason to worry about the situation that now they must face. Many of the school children have heard that mountain school is more attractive than city school and it's a kind of a place that ordinary person never realizes what's going on there. In the school most of them heard that those people who living in the mountain are cruel and disloyal to normal students those who coming from the city school. This view creates a picture in those three of them to dislike going to mountain.

Rangika suggest going to see the results while standing, but both don't want to stand up and go to see their future in the board.

"Come on... let's go"

She shouted again. Then the two of them stand up and move into the school notice board straight away to watch the results. Luckily, when they are coming, there is no one near the board, because three of them got late to see their results. So that reason, freely they check their future on the board without any disturbed.

"Hey, I'm 48." After checking the results Rangika laugh much as she can.

"I'm in 47th place. Hey Raki, your 50th." After listening to the Aruni, Raki also laugh, because anyone can pass the exam. However, there's a limit that is only 50 students. If I went back to 51st place, this time also I didn't want to go to mountain thought Raki very disapprovingly. However, now it's all gone.

"If Miss Ganga knows about this, she'll take off over skin."

Suddenly, Raki stop laughing and said because of the fear to the teacher. They felt suspicious about her, because more than any others, she has an interest on their exams. After a few minutes later three of them got a message from head principle to meet her immediately. When they heard the message three of them became frozen.

"What's happening?" Aruni got shocked.

"I think rubbish smell is spread everyway. Now we are gone. All the best for three of us. Let's go and see,"

Raki turn to the principle's office and said humming under her breath.

"Yeah, that's true. I think bomb blast by Miss Ganga teacher."

Rangika also follow her friend and then Aruni. Yet no one knows that head principle is waiting for them.

After knocking the door, they got a permission to enter the room.

"Come in"

While opening the door they saw principle's smiling face. That smile surprises three of them. "I'm waiting for you three."

Those words also shocked them more than the smile. And they couldn't understand why their present is more important to her.

"Have a sit."

Three of them respectfully did what principle said, and they sat comfortably.

"Finally, you three got the pass to go to mountain school."

While smiling what principle said Raki got shocked, she looked at her friends face because she couldn't understand what's happening. Further, they thought today is the day that they will get scold from everyone, but suddenly all change.

"I'm waited for this day. It's came now" When principle talking no one shake their mouth to talk. They waited until her talk finish. And, they wanted to know what she wants to say.

"I didn't say anything when you fail the exams, because I thought time will solve everything. Listen carefully what I'm going to say today. Within one week three of you going to mountain." She stopped her speech for a minute. Suddenly, Raki saw her eyes covered with tears.

"Don't pass any exams in the mountain school."

"Why?"

Till now Raki stayed silent, but after listening to that she couldn't stay silent anymore. They never thought head principle will say like this something.

"I'll tell you, but you have to promise me you'll not going to tell anyone, and you'll come to meet me every holiday."

"Can't we come once a week?"

Said Raki without thinking anything. Hearing her request friends got surprise, but head principle couldn't manage her laugh.

"How can I do that"

Loudly, she said to Raki then she scratches her hair and stay silent.

"Not like here don't do any mischievous things. Use your brain carefully when you do something. Specially, don't associate anyone in the mountain. Those people are very cruel. You know that."

After listening to the head principle three of them freeze and realized outside information that people are telling about mountain people are true. Those are not a lie any more.

"There are three tribal. You must be careful with those people. Raki you...."

She looked at her but suddenly stop what she goes to say and change the topic. However, Raki couldn't catch the eye of the principle, because she avoids her eyes. So that reason, she thought principle is hiding something from them.

"Don't do any business with others. Okay."

"Why is that? Why you're telling to be careful? What's the special? If that place is too dangerous why you can't cancel our tour?"

After a few minutes later Aruni stared to asked questions those no one couldn't understand. Although they are in a curious to know the reasons and answers for their questions.

"I can answer those question now, but no one couldn't understand those answers properly. So, read all the books in the library regarding about those tribal. Whatever they wrote on the books are true."

"Reading books"

Raki shocked after hearing those words from the principle, because she doesn't like to read books.

"Yes, of course, try to find what the special about these tribal is. Next time when you come holiday, I'll explain all the difficult things that you couldn't understand. And, when the first day of the school in the mountain they'll also explain about this."

After listening to the principle's speech Raki felt fear about their journey.

"Why you're telling this specially for us only? Why you're not telling other 47 students as well."

"I'll tell you later. However, now you must remember three of you are very important for me as well as for them. So that reason...… be careful."

They understood there are no answers for those questions in their heart. So, they stay quietly without asking anything.

"Okay, now you can go. From now start to find everything what I said."

Finally, they remind that in their mind. After her permission three of them went out.

"O. M. G. what we thought and now what we are listening." Afterward long breath Rangika said those words taking her hands into the lap.

"Wait, I'll search every corner in the library and definitely I'll find out who are those monsters." Aruni said that laughing, but Raki doesn't look like ok with her friend's idea.

"I don't want to read books to find those useless tribal."

"Hey, foolish you don't want to read books. Find those books for me. Understood?"

Raki and Rangika both felt happy about the friend's idea. After the discussion three of the friends try to find those books that principle told about them. They could find lots of books regarding those tribal. They took those books to the Araliya garden and as usual Raki had her guitar.

When Raki was a kid, she grown up in this atmosphere with her best two friends Aruni and Rangika. After so many years later, now she must leave this place not likely. Without her parents or relative she lived this much because this place became her father and mother to her. Up to now in her life every single delight and sorrow movements are associate with this place. After memorizing those movements, she felt like narrow-minded to move into the mountain. Not only that while thinking about the discuss that happened with principle, she couldn't bring together anything what's going on.

"Hey, Raki stop thinking those nonsenses. Just forget about those stories at least for one week." She said to herself and she stops thinking and she starts to whisper a beautiful song while playing the guitar. Her friends also didn't say anything since they also like to listen her music. Although listening to her song Rangika and Aruni both try to find some information from the books, and they use a note after reading every book.

Afterwards reading every book they realized every single book have same facts.

"Every book has same information."

"After analysing the information...." After a long breath Rangika start to talk. According to her talk first coherent is "Surya" (Sun) coherent. Their land mark is sun and they believe they came from the sun. So that reason, they called as world heart to their society. Next one is "Tharupathi" (Star). They also called as beauty in the heaven because they are a combination of a small collection of stars. Final coherent is the dangerous one in the mountain. Its name is "Agni" (Fire). As name they have power in the whole mountain. Hence, they refer as a fire god.

"We spend our full day for read this bullshit books. Nothing is important."

Aruni got very angry because she couldn't find anything special after reading those books. Every single book got same thing.

"Don't you realize what's happening here?"

"What's that?" Raki said that though looking to those books that they borrowed from the library. Still her friends couldn't understand what she is talking.

"What librarian said, these books officially came from mountain school."

"Yeah…. So…"

"So... children... why there is not enough information to understand their world."

"Yes... that's because…... Oh... gosh I don't know." Aruni and Rangika don't know the answers to give Raki.

"Because in those coherent head doesn't want to give their information for outsiders. They don't like that outsider know their secrets." Raki explain the situation with details to her friends. She thought another side that her friends never thought.

"That mean we couldn't find anything now. We have to wait until when we go there." Aruni said that and collect all the books angrily.

"Why you're in a hurry? I'm sick of these coherent stories. Only lack is coherent dance. Sun, moon, star, cloud…... Blah... blah…..."

Raki's face became red because of the anger that she is facing. Seen her face both friends could forget their anger and laugh much as they can. Sometimes her jokes are very serious to laugh, but no one couldn't take a smile to her face. So that reason, everyone thought she is arrogant. However, that's not a true, because if anyone accompanies her very faithfully, they could understand her real.

"Hey, let's go. I saw a notice in the board. Information about mountain school."

Unexpectedly, Rangika said that, because she forgot to tell that before. Firstly, they return the books to the library. Luckily, they came early, since the lecture concerning about their mountain school start at 2.30.

"OMG. We are lucky. Only 10 minutes left. If we got late, we three of us in a big trouble." After reading the notice Rangika took a long breath. Before they caught by Miss Ganga, they quickly came to the lecture room and sat on the last raw.

"We are the last people" Aruni laugh quietly, because in the school they are the only students that coming late or starting something late or finishing something late. Few minutes later head principle started her speech. First of all, she congratulates those students who selected to the mountain school and also her advice to protect their school name.

"Time is not enough, so pack your bags now. The items that you can bring there in the notice board. Now I'll tell you what you're going to study in there."

Raki thought her speech is important to get an idea, so she listens to her very carefully. According to her explanation, every student has to do their main subjects and also there are two core subjects. Among those 50 students, 15 students are major in environmental science and 10 students are Art subjects and 15 geography and other remaining 5 students are medical science. Rangika, Aruni and Raki are included into last 5 students' team.

Moreover, core subjects that head principle told structure according to mountain tribal nature. Those subjects are mountain history and mountain language. Lecture room became more and more silent after listen to the principle. Raki look into her friends with an odd smile because their morning hard work fell into the water right now.

"I have to say only this much. More details you can learn from the mountain school."

Afterward principle left the room. Later that every student pack their luggage according to the notice. They could only bring two luggage. Only one bag they could carry on their shoulder.

"Hey guys, do you hear that mountain people are very beautiful? Specially, boys." While packing the bags Roma said happily.

"How you know?" Rangika loudly asked from her, because she thought Roma is lying.

"Because of my sister, I know that. She told me." It proves to everyone that she isn't lying because one year ago her sister Nilani left to mountain school.

"Is that so?" Finally, Rangika felt silent.

"For that reason, they show their arrogant to city students." After listening to Roma, Raki felt more fear about those people.
