"Exam is today…"

"Please god give me good results for the history and language."

"Oh…. God please give me a chance to move to see the Nurki river."

Since morning Raki only discovered those noises. She understood now everyone scared to negotiate with the exam also her best mates.

"What happen to both of you? Why you're shaking?"

Raki asked them while giggling. Both pretended to be cheerful while presenting a smirk.

"Don't worry If we fail, we can see the Nurki river again."

Because of the worry that she doesn't need to identify out the word fail. While talking three of them left to the exam room. After getting in the all student Jonara principle joined to the room. Before starting the exam, she wanted to give them some advice and good luck.

1. If anyone got less than 50 for any exam, they'll have a one-week class suspension.

No one expects to accept that. They felt more anger about their rule modification.

On that time Rangika change her mind and skip about her wish Nuriki river.

Raki knew that she could go to the city again, because they must pass the history and Language. Raki knew she'll pass her major subjects without studying, but not the rest exams.

"I'll fail the exam, so better to get ready from now."

She laughs while covering her mouth and the bell rang loudly to announce to exam is getting a start. After hearing the bell sound room became silent for 3 hours. Exam beginning with History and Language subjects. Raki finished the exam within 1 hour, but the exam was a 3-hour paper. She couldn't even think is that easy or not, because she didn't even read the paper well. Those who studied well felt like they are revolving. They never thought the exam will become this much tough on the 1st day. No one couldn't understand the question well, so they couldn't respond paper well. Moreover, everyone understood their hard work rip into small pieces. Aruni and Rangika's faces turn into red when they saw the paper. They forgot their Nurki river wish when they saw the paper.

"How was the exam?"

"Don't asked."

"I wish I could kill that bastard who ever made the paper."

When the exam finished Raki asked from her friends, because they studied very hard for the exam. However, the reply wasn't good.

"So, go and kill Luna. No one will make the paper like this without her."

"Oh… gosh that bitch such as a…"

"Guys… forget about that. Now all finished. We can't change the past. To forget everything, let's go and play cricket."

This is very important exam for everyone, no one couldn't understand how Raki is relaxing after finishing worst paper on the 1st day. How she couldn't feel the fear that they are feeling.

"Don't talk nonsense. I didn't even touch a medicine book yet. You're calling us to play cricket."

Aruni squeeze Raki's ear then she felt silent. She wants to relax while she is staying in the mountain. Not only Aruni, Rangika also disagree with Raki's idea.

Raki walk through the corridor while saying. She really wants to play a game. While walking through the corridor she thought to ask from seniors to fulfil her wish. She came quickly to find them, because their exams already finished. After remembering that Raki felt happier.

"What happened?"

Ramida got shocked after seen Raki coming for their side very hurriedly. They thought she is coming to ask something that related to the exam.

"Nothing"

"How's the exam?"

"Don't talk about that. I'm sure no one will take more than 60% for the exam. I don't think we can go to see Nurki or even to the hell."

"Same here."

Kavindya also said while taking a long breath. Their wish also to go and Nurki river like others.

"I never thought to go to see the Nurki river, but I thought I could go and see those handsome faces in the mountain."

Suddenly, Thilini said those words very sadly. After hearing that not only Raki everyone laughs.

"Let's try next time. Try and try one day you can fly. Now... let's go play on the ground to forget those wishes."

"Oh…. Gosh.... Don't you have an exam tomorrow. This idiot…."

No one couldn't seat after taking to Raki. If she wishes to do something, she will fulfil her wish. No one couldn't ignore her idea. So Ramida went to take permission to play in the ground. Without even thinking too much principle gave the permission, because exams already finished and at least they must relax their mind.

"Raki.... Tomorrow you have an exam."

When she notices the Raki also included in that seniors' team, she got surprise.

"Just only little."

Principle didn't disagree with her small request and she didn't surprise, when she remembers the words that said from the city principle.

"Okay… okay…. What ever happened I want good marks for the science subjects."

Principal point out Raki specially, Raki respect her request and shake the head. Everyone left to the ground and senior boys also joined with them. They enjoyed their time while playing. Girls couldn't lose the boys. They try hard to win the game however they couldn't, because their fast couldn't beat girls

"Raju don't cheat."

Thilini shouted for Raju, because he did some cheating that no one couldn't recognize. On the other side, Raki stayed with seniors more than an hour, but she told to principle only little. No one couldn't remember the time.

"Thanks for the Raki after a long time today we enjoyed a lot."

After a long time, we had a fun that we never achieved."

When they were little, they played like this however not as a teenager, because they had to work to fulfil their wishes. So, they forgot their freedom. After a long time, they felt relax and happy. However, their happiness was vanished very quickly. No one thought that will happen very quickly.

Suddenly, Raki got shocked why everyone shouting. Whatever happened Raki catch the ball and then she turns to their friends. However, she was too late, and someone pushes her from the back side. She couldn't even think about what's happening. She didn't think much so, she couldn't control herself and fell. Her hand got injured after hitting a rock.

She couldn't imagine what happened to her. Her eyes fully covered with tears, because of her injured. She wanted to know what happened to her, so she turns back. After turning to back she saw only people who wear back robes. After seen this situation, she forgot her injured and felt huge fear. Without 1st person, others' faces Raki could see clearly, but the 1st person is covered his face from the hoody. She couldn't recognize who is that person is.

"Is this the owner of the bird?"

Still Raki was on the ground, so she could barely saw that person's face. He didn't have a bit of a smile on the face and his whole face covered with the beard.

"We're playing in the other ground so better to go from here."

One of a girl from the team came and shouted. When they heard it a few of the city students came to Raki.

"We don't like to see you all dirty faces. You all better go now. If not, everyone knows what will happen."

Another boy came and warn them. After hearing their voices Raki's fear gone up, so she tries to get up from the ground. They thought to leave the ground quickly, so Kavindya came to help Raki.

"Let's go quickly."

She whispers into Raki's face and help to get up. Raki felt more relax when she saw the Kavindya. Everyone left the ground with Raki. Agni felt happier when he realized that he has injured a city girl. He saw Raki's hand bleeding.

"It's not fair. We're not playing on their ground. We're in different ground."

Chanchala couldn't control his anger. They didn't play on the same ground and most important thing is that ground didn't reserve for the city students. They were in their own ground and city children forbidden to go their places. Everyone knew it isn't fair that happened earlier.

"Everyone know that's not fair, but what should we do this isn't our city."

They knew Ramida is right. Mountain is belonging to them. Moreover, they knew their power is very powerful. So they became scared to talk or take action.

Thilini shouted after seen Raki's hand. She got scared. After hearing her scream, everyone came near to her.

"let's go to see nurse quickly."

Ramida holder her other hand and told, because she thought Raki wants immediate treatment.

"That's true. If they knew Raki didn't study and went to play with us. It's become a big issue."

When they heard the Raju's explanation everyone turns back. Nurse is originally from the mountain. No one wish to take treatment from her, because she doesn't like city children. She believes their behaviour isn't good and not suet for the mountain.

"Don't tell anyone about this. This is a secret that happen today. Now I'm going to my room today and I'll put medicine on my own."

They agree with her. If anyone knew about the incident that create a problem for Raki and she is in a trouble. They thought to forget the incident. At least they promise that they will not go to mention Raki's best friends.

Raki strateaway came to her room and took a shower. When the water drops into her injured hand, she couldn't patient and a small scream came out from her mouth. The incident was a small thing, but when she looks to her injured hand that wasn't small.

"This is the 2nd time that bastard injured my hand."

She tries to control her anger while putting medicine into her hand. She wants to hide the injured hand from her friends, because they'll scored her. So, she wears a long sleeves shirt and came to the library. Library was fully packed, but no one made any noise. Raki felt she is luck, because she couldn't find any spare space.

After getting her dinner she went to sleep without her friends.

When she went to sleep, she was alone. However, when she gets up from the bed, she was surprise.

"OMG... I couldn't believe. I am the one who went to bed early, but they already walk up before me."

Raki thought she was late for the exam and she got ready quickly and came out from the room. Suddenly, her friends came hurriedly. Raki saw their eyes totally red and she could understand they didn't even sleep a little yesterday.

"Don't you guys sleep last night?"

"Whole night we try to study. Still, we have more."

"Who knows what they will asked."

"Let's go and do the exam don't think about that too much. Go and get ready. There isn't much time left."

They found she was right after seen the clock. Raki left to the exam hall while encouraging her friends. She was still remembered how was their 1st exam. That was really tuff. Raki had a feeling toady exam also become hard like other day and she knew Nurki river was a mirage that head of the school create for city students that they could never reach. They must follow the mirage to catch their wishes and, on the end, they will be realized that wasn't real. After realizing that how they'll feel. Raki couldn't even think what they will feel finishing the exam.

"How rude they're? They don't have any value to their feeling."

Before she is coming here and after she came to the mountain, she didn't even like the mountain people. That feeling became worse after facing playground incident and this exam. Raki became the 1st that enter the exam hall. After entering the exam hall, she sat on the table that separate for her. She tries to think about her friend, if they fail the exam. What will happen to their curious that they have and their Nurki river wish become a mirage?

"Oh…. God please. Let them pass the exam."

She couldn't stay a long time in her world. Suddenly she felt something on her head, and she shocked and turn her head. First, she saw the black colour frock.

"Did I come early?"

Before say something Luna, Raki asked her. When she investigates Luna's face Raki understood that she isn't came to shout or scold her.

"It's okay. That's good you came early. How is the history exam?"

In her whole life Raki was the 1st girl that Luna talk nicely ever, because she never talks properly with other girls ever. This time she couldn't ignore Raki without talking.

"OMG... don't asked about that exam. That was really worst."

Raki told the true to her teacher, but after telling the truth Raki thought she'll yell to her.

"That means you will get less marks for the exam."

"Not only history for the language also same."

Raki felt like she is telling the true unnecessarily, so she covers her mouth from hand. Raki's talkative words brought a smile to Luna's face.

"That means, today's exam also become hard for you."

"Never, it couldn't be happening."

"How?"

"Medical science means my life. I never got less marks for that. If I couldn't get 100 marks. I'll get 99%."

Luna became happy after seen Raki's grit. When she was a child, she also same like her. Her memories came in-front her eyes.

"How can I believe you?"

Raki was surprise after hearing her words, but she couldn't stop the words that come out to argue with Luna.

"Okay, let's do a bet."

"Okay. If you got 95% for today's exam. I'll give you this necklace for you."

Luna said while showing her necklace and Raki was surprise. She couldn't believe is this the real Luna that she knows before, because in her mind her character was arrogant and wicked women. The necklace that she told she'll give wasn't big and there was a blue stone in the middle and hang on the chain. After seen the chain Raki's face covered with a huge smile.

"Are you serious?"

"I'm not joking."

"Okay. If I got 95%. I can take this neckless. If I got...…. 100% what you can give me. Can you give me this bracelet also?"

Raki said while pointing Luna's hand. She got surprise when listen to Raki's words. She didn't even study well, but she is trusting herself.

"Okay. If you got 100%, I'll give you both. However, if you got less than 30% for history, you have to attend extra class in the evening for 1 hour."

Suddenly, another challenge came between them. Final challenge Raki couldn't accept.

"No….. never..... I don't want anything."

"Why? What happen now? We have decided already. Now it's confirmed."

She stands up from the chair when she heard the bell sound. She was happy after talking to Raki.

"Oh... Shit."

At the end Raki thought she shouldn't challenge with Luna. Raki murmur while holding her head with two hand. Second bell also rang loudly while announcing to students to enter the exam room. Before leaving the Raki, she squeezes her cheek very tightly until her cheek become red.

"All the best for the exam. Do it well."

They stop their conversation, because students enter the hall.

Without noticing to other students Luna went backward, because she doesn't prefer to notice about their discussion. Second bell again sounded and then exam started. Raki could deal with the exam paper without reading and the answers came like when someone open a water pump. She felt that her answers are correct, and she had a believe herself. Luna also surprised after seen Raki's ease. She rested on the chair very comfortably and her right hand moved like a tool and the left hand had a pen and she is twisting the pen with her character. Luna was curies to learn how she could be relaxing like this. Others not like her. They all in a massive distraction to deal with the paper, but Raki is just writing without even stop her hand for a slight. Raki felt that Luna is stay in-front of her, then she blinks her right-hand eye and also concentrate to the exam. Her reaction created a laugh to Luna's face. She looks at those mischievous behaviour from only Raki not from any other pupil. She didn't mention anything, because she still like those innocent bad behaviour from her.

Before time up Raki finished the exam and glance at her wristwatch and shock.

"Yet I have 30 minutes more."

She then looks at the time before hand over the paper. She needed to check her answers. Then she lifts her hand and signal to Luna that she has completed her exam. When she hand-over paper without noticing to anyone slowly came near to Luna.

"Get ready to turn your gifts."

Spoke and moved the room without even looking back. After listen to her words Luna try to cover her giggle.

After 30 minutes exam finished for everyone. Everyone came outside from the exam whole with tears in their eyes. Raki waited outside in a bench for her colleagues. Aruni straightway came near to Raki and screamed. Raki knew the reason for her cry but didn't ask about the reason. She leaves her to shout until her sad vanished.

"Now I realize we raced for capture a mirage."

Pushpa retorted those words while throwing her books into the bench.

"Now everything passed. Luna isn't giving another chance to write the paper. Whatever happened, I don't care about the exam. If we didn't pass, we're not dying anyhow. If we didn't pass 2 factors will happened. One is we couldn't able to visit Nurki river and second is we'll take a suspension period for capital."

Raki said those words to encourage her colleagues.

"Chuttie's words right. On the first day at the exam I already forget about that."

Rangika said those words to ignore her suffering in the heart.

"Yeah, that's right. Like Raki said we can have one-week vacation."

Navodya also said while holding a deep sigh.

"Look, that's why I said you. I'm sticking around for get my vacation to have fun. OMG….. "

Aruni also stop crying after listen to her colleagues.
