4 Disastrous Encounter

Kyria and Ned consulted their plan to investigate the school to Iris. They warned her not to leave the garden no matter what until they have returned. Iris was deeply confused but agreed to listen to their request anyways since she trusted her friends judgments dearly. As soon as they were gone she collapsed onto one of the flowers bed. She stared at the luscious pink sky with her golden eyes. Much of the sun was exposed since it was mid day but that didn't stop her from looking up. A gentle wind blew all the peddles from different flowers making it seem as though it was snowing vibrant colors. The loneliness and fear she was sensing earlier vanished like magic. All that relief from unwanted stress hit her rather harshly. Before she had realized herself she was out like the flame on a candle.

At the same time Wolfram, once again, was lying under that canopy taking a nap like usual. For once, he was able to take a proper nap without having any interruptions. When he woke up he was rather pleased with the sudden peaceful atmosphere. He saw the different petals dancing along side the air. He stepped outside the canopy, instantly getting hit by sun light. Usually he wasn't very pleased by sitting under the sun light nor enjoyed the endearing scent of different flowers, but he had woken up from a delightful nap. As he casually walked by the flower beds his foot had stepped on something soft and pleasant. When he looked down to see what he stepped on, he almost jumped out of his own skin. The shocked caused him to fall backwards head first. Invisible tear droplets formed at the corner of his eyes from the sudden impact. He was definitely not expecting the cause of all his problems to be napping under his foot at that moment. Luckily the impact of his foot didn't wake her up to his surprise. In a frantic pose he sat up straight inspecting the girl for any visible damage. To his God given grace nothing had really happened. Wolfram became curious and gazed upon her soft features, taking in all the small details. With his finger he brushed the small strands of hair off of her face. He had come to realize she was quite smaller than when he had first set eyes on her. Her short porcelain hair draped the flowers bringing out the bright silver color. Under the sun it looked like platinum that glittered outstandingly. However more than her hair, he had the desire to gaze upon her eyes once again. One thing he understood greatly was that the golden color of her eyes was extremely unusual and rare. He wasnt sure where he had first seen it but it looked rather familar. Whenever he gazed at her eyes it made him feel as if he was being sucked in. Instantly his face flared a bright red from his embarrassing thoughts. He wasnt expecting his face to be so close niether to be so entice by the girl.

Without a notice a strange rustle was heard from a distance. Wolfram felt like the air was a bit strange. Everything seemed normal until a loud howl was heard. He noticed Iris's nose twitching uncomfortably at the strange sound. Her eyes began to flutter open as wolfram panicked frantically unable to make a move. With the time he had left he shifted into his wolf form and hid in the shadows. Luckily he was able to move out of sight in time. The howl was heard once more and this time it sounded closer. Iris rose up quite fast at the sudden cry. Something was definitely out of order. Iris could not determine the danger in going. Signs of hesitancy was clearly written on her face but disregarded it. She hurried past the flower beds towards the strange cries of help. Wolfram sensed something bad was going to happen and was ready to follow her. However, then he realized, why was he trying so hard to help her? He wouldnt even bat an eyelash to her before, how was it any different now? For all he was concerned she could die there motionless and he wouldnt care one bit. After gathering his thoughts, he remained near the canopy brushing off all the tension in his nerves.

Iris on the other hand continued her little journey. Although its not her character to challenge danger head in, she still couldnt sit still when someone cried for help. She made an instantaneous halt at the entrance to the garden. She wanted to search for the sudden cry of help, but she had remembered what Kyria and Ned had told her. As much as she wanted to listen, she couldn't just leave the person. What if they were really in danger? As soon as she stepped out of the entrance, an eerie fog was clouded over the forest. Iris found it strange that is was this foggy. Had a trap that was in the forest been accidently activate? The longer she thought about the more impossible it became because these trap would only be activated by someone. She ventured further in and still there was no one to be found. She grabbed assistance to one of the trees to help guide her through, but to her misfortune she had tripped causing her to lose footing. To make things worse an unknown shadow flew from the trees in front of her and push Iris to the floor in a rough manner after her sudden trip. Tears appeared once again from the sudden pain emitting from the back of her head. Despite her efforts in being stealthy, it backfired quite badly in her face. She glance up to see her captors face, trying to figure who it could have been. The fog began to slowly lift giving Iris a clear view of the stranger. It was a girl probably a year older than her. She had blonde hair with striking blue eyes, that pierced through Iris violently. That's when she realized it was one of the girls who were on the roof top with her the other day. The girl giggled deviously, sending shivers down her spine. She let out a loud whistle, earning ragged rustles from the bushes behind them. Various men appeared who seemed to be from her class, but she couldnt tell very well because of the thick fog. Although, from their devious laughs she know they were the guys that bullied her every morning for sure, trying to enjoy her tears that held pain.

"Well well, look at what we finally found boys! now before we begin, I have a very important question for you. How did a filthy brat like you get your hands on someone so noble? You shouldn't be able to approach a lone wolf like him, not when I cant. And there I see you being carried bridal style from the roof!" The girl snarled deeply causing Iris to flinch. the girl gripped Iris by the neck blocking her air way. Tears began to fall harder from Iris's eyes as she struggled to breathe. She couldn't understand why this was happening to her, nor understand who this lady was talking about because the ones who saved her from the roof were her dear friends. The lack of oxygen cut her train of thought, all she could take do was take the abuse and that terrified her. Without notice Iris was let go giving her the chance to take sudden breathers and coughs, but there was still a pressure on her chest from the girl sitting on top of her.

"No I cant let you die that easily. I want to see a fake wolf like you suffer before your death. I want to see you cry in pain and despair beneath me where you belong! Let it rip boys, she's all yours." A devilish smile was painted clear on her face. Some relief was given as the girl got off her chest, causing Iris's breathing to be less ragged but was soon lost as her arms were bound above her. Shadows of the different guys hovered over her fragile body. Their rough hands began to touch in various places causing Iris to whimper. Her small cries of 'stop' humored them causing their hormones to go haywire. They unbuttoned her shirt to her uniform exposing her widely. Her bare skin was caressed seductively, earning yet another cry. The girl foolishly enjoyed everything that was currently happening. Iris's patience ran thin as she finally let out a cry for help. Even though she did, nothing was happening they were still touching her inappropriately, and that's when she realized she was really alone. Iris stopped struggling towards her captors and closed her eyes. She hated this. She hated that she was powerless and felt disgusted that she had to rely on her friends allt the time. Why should they sacrifice themselves for her? Tears slipped from her eyes uncontrollably, as she sobbed in despair. No one was coming to help her and no one would want to because, she is after all a horrible mutation that shouldn't have been born.

She had finally given up earning a cheerful giggle from the evil girl. The distress in Iris's mind began to defuse into illusions, or so she thought. Iris opened her eyes to a sudden light that was illuminated before her. The sudden light was absorbed into a small sphere as big as her palm that settled on top of her hand as she sat up. Then she became aware that everything around was frozen, almost as if time had stopped. Nothing around her was moving, even the birds that were flying up above were floating in thin air. Iris could not believe what she was seeing. She looked down to see her so called classmates and the girl frozen on the ground. It was as if she has stopped time itself. The shining sphere in her hands shined even brighter as if it was telling her to do something. The appearance of the sphere was almost identical to Iris's golden eyes. Was this a sign, if so, a sign of what? As if her body had a mind of its own, she took the sphere and crushed it in her hands sending golden dust to rain from the sky. The frozen illusion disappeared as Iris's consciousness had finally given up.

In the meantime, Wolfram rested himself against the canopy still contemplating on whether he should follow the pitiful girl. Before he could even make a final choice, a shriek for help rang through the forest. The first thought that ran through is head was Iris, he didnt know why but it did. By the time his mind had already processed what was going on, his body had already set itself to find Iris. The uneasy feeling at the pit of his stomach grew bigger as he grew closer, until a wave of ominous power drifted through his body. It gave him goosebumps, since it was his first time experiencing such power. Upon reaching his destination, he couldn't believe what he saw. people he didn't recognize laying unconscious on the floor expect for the girl. It was the same girl he seen when he left the roof with Iris, what could she have possibly wanted. His eyes searched and fell upon Iris. But what he saw made his blood grow cold. She lied there passed out with barely any clothes visible on her body. Without thought he rushed to her side to see if she was okay. Her tear stained face appeared pale as her body was sticky from sweat. Wolfram wasnt a righteous man. Had it been anyone else he would have left them there ro die without a care, thats how ruthless he was. But even so, Wolfram couldnt understand why he felt angry seeing this girl like thi. The adrenaline in his body caused all the blood to rush to his head. Could it have been because of the guitl he felt? But then what would explain the anger he felt? He sat there in deep though, was this his fault? It couldnt have been right? He could have saved he had followed her. He could feel his face burning as his eyes grew red from all the tension.Tears threatened to fall from how angry he was. His eyes widen at the terrible foreign feeling. The feels he held were indescribable and he couldnt believe that the anger he felt clouded his judgement. Did this girl affect him that much, if so how, he only had seen her three time and all of them being bad experiences. He didnt know what to do with the feelings he was having. He observed the girl lying his arm and pulled her closer to himself, burying his head at the crook of her neck. Wolfram wasnt able to understand his feelings well, but he did understand that he had a strong desire to protect her right now. For once he felt like for the first time he wanted to do this and not as an obligation. But why?

Light foot steps were heard from a distance, he knew exactly who was approaching. As much as he wanted to stay along side her to find out if she was okay, he didn't want anymore conflict with her so called friends. He took the chance to flee while he still had the time.

Kyria and Ned raced into the forest panting heavily as they ran. While Kyria and Ned went on to investigate the class, they had heard a painful cry for help. The ear piercing shreek was undoubtedly Iris's. They dropped everything on the spot and rush to her side as fast as they could. Kyria had a bad feeling to begin with because he didnt feel too comfortable leaving Iris in the garden by herself. Even if people really didn't know the place, there still lingered that exotic man and the idea of him corrupting Iris crawled under his skin. Kyria thought of Iris's big smile before they left her to calm himself down. However, all his thought were cut off as soon as he saw what was lying in front of him.

"Holy mother of God!!! What the hell happened?!" Ned yelled, rushing towards Iris, as he tried to cover her badly exposed body with his blazer. Kyria just stood there not being able to comprehend the scene before him. There was nothing he could do but fall to his knees as he clutches his hands into a fist. With all the strenth he had he punch the ground and let out a painful cry. The ground rumble from his impact and blood dripped endlessly from his fist. All he could do was cry pitifully, he couldn't even look Iris in the face. Ned held onto Iris tighty as a snarl escaped his mouth. There was no way they could bring her back to class. Ned was smart, even if he acts stupid most of the time he was the thrid smartest student in the entire school. To him countering the barrier of the endless forest was a piece of cake. the gravity of the situation hit them pretty hard. The only thing left to do was to send Iris home and dress her wounds. They disregarded the live bodies of those who caused this all. Their priority was Iris and her safety, so Ned and Kyria would leave it for later to hunt them down. Ned looked at Kyria with teary eyes. For as long as he had known Kyria, not once as he looked so broken down.

"Kyria please get up. Hurting yourself isn't going to doing anything to help her. The best we can do for her is to send her home now." Ned pleaded but got no response in return. Ned gave a big sigh and pulled up his heartbroken friend. With all the power Ned had in him, he opened a passage way for all three of them to go through. With the remaining strength he had, he walked to Iris's house with her in his arms and Kyria following him slowly behind. The thought that ran through both of their minds echoed, "What are we going to tell her father?"
