Wine and Dine with a Beauty

It was Lu Ming, the CEO of Yuhe, who was talking. He murmured to himself as he walked into the suite. Upon suddenly seeing the beauty in the room, he opened his eyes wide to look at Su Xiqin as he walked to Bai Yansen and sat down next to him.

He whispered into Bai Yansen's ears, "Fourth Brother, you've finally thought it through. Now you know the benefits of having a beauty by your side when wining and dining."

Bai Yansen had now lit a cigarette and was smoking. He didn't respond to Lu Ming but rather squinted to look at Su Xiqin through the cigarette smoke. Su Xiqin didn't mind the gaze since she thought that it was normal for people with high status to give themselves air, so she smiled and turned toward Ji Qingyang.

"Director Ji, I'm going to leave now."

"Okay. We'll keep in touch," Ji Qingyang said.

Su Xiqin got ready to leave. Right before going, she turned to Bai Yansen and nodded, but Lu Ming called out before she could even turn back around, "Beauty, we haven't even eaten yet. Why are you leaving so early?"

When Su Xiqin heard him call her, she stopped walking and responded crisply out of politeness, "I came to discuss the design drafts with Director Ji. We're done now, so I won't disturb you guys."

"I want to hear your design concept," Bai Yansen suddenly said. His words stopped Su Xiqin from walking away. 

She turned towards Bai Yansen and looked him in the eye with slight disbelief. Before she could respond, Ji Qingyang said on the side, "Ms. Su, our CEO places much importance on the design this time."

Su Xiqin knew that it was impossible that these people actually want to hear about her design. They just wanted her to be their female companion at the table, but she knew that if she rejected them, she would probably infuriate Bai Yansen.

In the end, she nodded because she recalled that Bai Yansen wasn't lustful.

Just then, a unique ringtone sounded in her bag, "Su-Su, Little Milk Bun is calling. Su-Su, pick up, It's an emergency from Little Milk Bun." 

Everyone stared at Su Xiqin. To be more exact, their attention was grabbed by that childish voice in the ringtone, and they were also shocked to hear that unique ringtone.

"Sorry, but I need to take this." Su Xiqin was a bit anxious and uncomfortable under the gaze of so many people. She frantically tried to take out her phone from her bag, and she was successful after scrambling around, Then, she walked towards a corner of the suite.

The call was from Tang Xi, calling to tell Su Xiqin that Little Milk Bun was missing.

"What? Missing? How? I told him to wait for you at the customer services area."

"Okay, I'll come over now. Wait for me."

Su Xiqin hung up the phone. Then, she immediately turned to Bai Yansen to apologize. 

"Mr. Bai, I'm very sorry, but I need to go find my son now. I will come back to discuss my design draft later."

Lu Ming was sitting on the sofa when Su Xiqin talked about her missing child, and his eyes grew wide, staring at Su Xiqin with disbelief. 

"She has a child?"

It wasn't just Lu Ming who was surprised, but everyone in the suite as well. The chief designer of the Mo Corporation is in her 20s, but she already has a child?

Bai Yansen raised his blue and white porcelain cup and slowly took a sip of tea. He calmly responded, "Go and deal with it first."

The tone of his voice and his cold expression formed a sharp contrast; his voice sounded much warmer. 

"Okay, thank you!" Su Xiqin said and immediately dashed towards the door. Everyone else in the room was still digesting the new information and hadn't woken up from the surprise.

Bai Yansen continued holding onto his teacup as he gazed in the direction Su Xiqin disappeared in, his eyes looked deep and mysterious.
