16 Adventure (2)

After chatting a while with Bernard,we waiting the adventurer.After roughly one hour waiting,the first customer come.They buy some low potions and left immediately.So they aren't who we looking for.Many adventurer later come to Robert's shop,but they're not related to our bussiness.

I trust Bernard to find suitable adventurer who killing to buy my magic stone.Since then he never mentioning about that.So the adventurer who we looking for don't come yet.

Then when a group adventurer come to our shop,Bernard's expression changes.I immediately to observe the party.

Two man and one woman.It seem they're around 17-18 years old.The boy has blonde spiky hair and green eyes.The other one has reddish wavy hair and brown eyes.The girl has straight long blue hair,with brown eyes.They wear casual outfit, so I don't know they're adventure at first glance.

"Excuse me sir,we want some potion as usual."

So they're a frequently customer.

"Got it."

After hand over the potion to them,Bernard begin chat casually with them.

"By the way,are you guys still want to get the promotion?"

"Of course we are.Isn't that our purpose to clear the dungeon? We still C rank adventurer because we haven't clear any dungeon !!"

The red boy answered.

So they are C rank adventurer.

"So how your progress?"

"Ugh,we still stuck on 4th floor.We usually running out of mana,and wounded to go to 5th floor.Our weapon is not good condition either.After being used for kill a lot of monster,they lost their sharpness."

The blonde haired boy answered.

"I see,so do you have solution about that problem?"

"Maybe we need a Support Role to buff us,and heal us."

The girl answer.

"But usually they will become dead weight too,the Support Role who can fight is very rare you know."

The blonde hair argue the girl opinion.

"I see,I may have a solution for your problem."

"Really?!!!"

"Yeah,Vin come here."

"Okay."

You may wonder why i don't show up earlier.That's because I don't want brother Bernard,so hide myself,until Bernard find the buyer and call me.

"Huh,why there are kid here Uncle?"

"You looking for people who has Support Role isn't? He is the right choice."

"Hmm,Bernard I think he isn't capable though."

"But he kill 30 goblins alone.Here the proof."

After that,Bernard show my magic stones and the Goblin Ears too.

"You can't trust him easily you know.I'm sorry for my rudeness,but in my opinion you're not capable to fighting."

He underestimate me.

"You are right.So why don't you test him?"

"Test?"

"Of course,his fighting ability."

"I can't do that. Look at him,he has injury on his eyes.If I fight him,I will laughed because bullied weak child."

"But what if,he proof himself,that he can fighting? Isn't he will become suitable person to help you guys clear the dungeon?"

"But,what about that child opinion?"

They push the choice on me.

"I don't mind to be tested."

I decide to play a long.I want to know how far I can go now.

"You hear that.So it's make a deal.If you're lose,you will buy this kids magic stones.If he lose,I will give you free potions.How about it?

I see,so Bernard doesn't fully trust me.

He propose a duel to test my ability.

And make the magic stone as the deal.So I can't run away.

He is quite cunning huh.

"Okay I accent it.Your name Vin right? If you can't continue just say it okay."

The blonde buy is gentle type isn't?

"Okay.But where we do the test?"

"This shop has back yard.For now,I will close the shop."

After putting close sign,we go to back yard following Bernard.

"Let's decide the rule."

"Okay."

"First,you will fight 1 vs 1 and all weapon allowed.You can use magic too,but don't destroy everything."

"I got it."

"We get it too."

"So decide who will fight."

"I will fight."

The blonde buy speak.

"Yeah,I think Alan is suitable to fight,his role is Assaulter unlike Jack and me."

"Cindy role is Musician so she doesn't familiar with sword and Jack is Defender,so the best he can do is defend himself."

So the blonde guy is Alan (Assaulter),Cindy the Musician Girl,and Jack (Defender) red haired guy.

After taking some distance,Alan and me staring each other.Surely I am on disadvantage,because I fight with just one eye vision and my body is shorter than him.

I can't pull dirty trick like kick his crotch too,because it will ruin my image.I can't kill him either.So basically my knowledge from my previous life is can't be fully used.Because the knowledge I have is to KILL.So basically I will aim vital point of the target.But right now isn't situation killing each other.So I need hold back and find a way to make me win without blood shed.

I pulled my katana and readied myself.

"Here I come !!!"

Alan shouted and dashed toward me while swinging his sword.His body apparently use buff too from his Role.I can see his body glowed with red aura.When his sword meet my sword,I feel the preasure is very hard.It seem our strength is on different dimension.I block all his attack and do various feint attack,but always fail.He seem know where my attack will come and block it perfectly.I can't always parried his sword too much because it will waste my energy.So rather than blocking his attack,I start evade it.From start I already use Psyhcal Enhancement and Accelaration.So I can barely match him.

I save my energy to deal the finishing blow,until then I only can evade.Alan look at me with suprised,but he smiles to me.Apparently he know,that I want to waste his energy,so he stop his attacks.

We staring each other for now,no one make a move.

"I didn't think you managed to evade all my attack."

"Thank you"

He grins.From what I see,he like me,because he found someone who have same caliber as himself.He has no ill will,just pure desire to have a rival.

From his word earlier,he still don't approve me,so he want to continue this little duel.

The longer we stay,the more complicated it will become.Because now already afternoon,so the sun is very hot.So I decided to move first.

I run with zig-zag pattern to confuse him.If I charge straight to him,he will know where will I go,and attack on my weak point.If I go with zig-zag pattern,at least he can't determine from where I will attack him.When the time come,I lift my katana and use it reflect Sun light right into his eyes.He immediately lose focus and block his vision with his hand.

At that time,I gathered all my strength to knock the sword at his hand.His sword come flying after met my katana.He lose his focus due unexpected event and loose his grip.

Even after his sword fly,I can't let him do anything,so I point my katana on his neck.

After few moment,he finally aware what happen and dumbfounded.

"I lose huh? But what is that trick??!!"

"Secret."

"What happen Alan? You suddenly stopping in the middle of fight."

Cindy ask him.

"I don't know,but suddenly I felt a strong light hit my eyes and I can't see for a moment."

"But I don't see him saying any chant before.How do you did it?"

Cindy ask me.

"Uhh,you see,I just reflect sun light with my katana to your eyes.When you see a bright light,you will lose your vision for a moment.But it very dangerous if you hit by the sun light frequently.So I apologies for my behaviour."

"I see.Your fighting technique is unique."

Alan praises me.But I feel bad to use such trick.I hope his eyes don't hurt.

"That's because I used to be live on outside,so I must learn how to use anything for survival."

"Now,how is your opinion?"

Bernard ask them.

"I think he is capable fighter.I can see from how he evade my attack.And above all,he know how to use his skill to fight." (Alan)

"I agree too.He can defeat Alan,who older than him,with those condition,he really good." (Cindy)

"I think he pass too. (Jack)

"So,you know what to do right?"

"Yeah we will buy those magic stone too,of course we take the proof as well.Here 100 copper coins."

"Ah,isn't the price just 3 copper? I think you should give 90 copper."

I feel bad to take advantage of this people.

"Take it,as a bonus.Also can you join us dive in dungeon tommorow? We need your help!"

"About that,Is really okay for child like me come to dungeon?"

"Don't worry,we will handle everything,so you can rest assured and just help us."

"Thank you.But before that,can you tell about the dungeon first?"
