13 His Childhood Memory

It's been five days since my sister disappear. If I said I'm not worried then it will be a lie, even if she sometimes went away without leaving a note like this quite often.

After I woke up from my healing rest. Rias came to visit and told me the story of my twin sister Iva that she fullfil her promise to me by marching to crash Rias weeding and how she somehow act very malicious at Riser because of me unlike her blank emotionless self.

Rias then ask me if I know something about her unusual burst of malicious emotions and tell me about how Iva went away without telling anyone her destination once again, only that this time she left Rias a massage that she probably away for several days unlike her missing act she usually do without leaving any clue like what she do in our childhood.

I answered honestly know nothing at all about her sudden change of attitude. I knew her protectiveness sometimes turn ugly when I got hurt but she has never killed any of those offenders.

Well, seeing that there no answer for that mystery Rias check my body once again and found that I'm already fully healed, probably by Iva and that I could come to school normally again.

I did go to school normally in this last five days without Iva. Nothing change from ordinary day's like meeting with my friend, reading some porn magazine, and sometimes peeking girls, but I don't have the motivation to do those thing any longer. Because Asia always near me in need and looks like that she lost. She usually stay near my sister Iva more often than me but with her gone without knowing her whereabout this make Asia very worried.

Unlike me who get used to this habit of Iva, Asia only know her for several days to build up that trust, even if I already told her that Iva is fine wherever she was. Today, after school Rias came and told me to that the club meeting will be done in my house. I don't really mind as my parent will be going to overseas because a new business project.

Our family actually quite rich, Iva made several inventions and several investment that made the government giving Iva several privileges. They're very desperate to keep her to this nation as she herself is classified as national treasure because her genius brain.

But our parent like to work and going overseas, so Iva like always using her connection made our parent able to choose work in another countries and also having vacation. The whole live is being covered by the company to get Iva's favor. This is how my amazing my sister is and how she really love us her family.

I look up to the clock to see it already at five in the evening, mom already putting some her food at the table for Rias and the others. Mom look very happy because I rarely bought friends home. Iva even more worse than me but it's not all her fault, she is a loner because everyone like to befriend with her because her fame or money.

Nobody have ever approach her without thinking how to use her before she decided to befriend with Asia who is the most pure hearted person in this house. Iva because her sensitivity with others emotion, cannot trust others easily and even more when she easily attract jealously and envy from others because her genius mind and beauty.

Iva always more mature and paranoid than anyone in the family. I know she sometimes went outside without saying anything to make herself a bait for the people that trying to convent her or outright trying to assassinate her. The first time I have seen her hurt not from protecting me from bullies or yakuza, make me panic but that wound also healed very fast. Now I know because her Sacred Gear.

I really hate myself at those times, as her brother I cannot even protect her who suppose to be my younger sister. She is very capable, that make me feel very meaningless in her life. If I can't see that she really depends on me to be her morale anchor and a place to rest from all that stress she that have, I think I probably pulled out a suicide because the crushing shame and guilt that I have harbor.

But Iva who always knew what I feel even without seeing each others. She become the pillar of my emotions even if she currently very busy or in the middle of a meeting. I really love my sister Iva, the kind, gentle, and understanding but easily misunderstood by others because her apathetic side towards stranger.

As my heart become peaceful, our house door suddenly open. I come over thinking that Rias and the other, who decided to intrude without permission again. But instead I found my sister Iva who currently taking her coat off and giving it to the handsome tanned man that standing beside her, then he put that coat to the hanger near the door.

They took off their shoes and take slippers that used in house activities. Iva then look up and see me "I'm home, Nii-san". I unconsciously reply but immediately became defensive "Welcome back Iva. Wait! There's something more important to discuss! Who is this handsome guy!? No way! I won't allow Iva to date you!" I glare this man hoping him to burn as Iva never have invite men to our house except from our childhood friend Irina.

The men look shocked for a moment before giving me a mocking smug smirk. He pissed me off! "Want to fight you bastard!" I yell and tried to intimidate him by rising my fist but he just let out a laugh disguised as a snort. Just I about to punch him Iva stop him.

"Calm down Nii-san and Archer please stop goading my brother. He is my new bodyguard that the government given to me. He is an agent that also quite adapt in supernatural, he will also work to protect this household residents. His name is Emiya Shiro, but his codename is Archer. So, please get along with him and please only call his name in private places. By the way where's Asia?"

After asking Asia where about the person Iva searching came down from the second floor. "Is the others already come Ise-kun? I heard quite a ruckus from my room. Oh! Iva-san you've finally came back! I'm very worried when you suddenly went missing like that! Please don't do it again!" Asia immediately rush to tackle Iva and cry after that.

Iva took the emotional distraught Asia away to the living room before she collapse from stress. Leaving me with the guy that suppose to be our bodyguard. "While I trust Iva, I don't trust you a bit. Try to hurt Iva and I will beat you up till you look like a pig!" I declared with a glare, I accept that this handsome man will be living in our house so I give him some ultimatum for a warning.

The man look down at me with a blank face that could rival my sister emotionless face. Then let out an amused grunt "So, you're not that naive to believe a stranger even with your sister vouching. It will make my job to protect you more easier then, at least you have some mind to not rushing head first to the problem like an idiot."

I feel like my veins going to burst with anger but before I able to retorted at this man. My house bell ring and this must be Rias and the rest. I glared at the men but he gone, I look around in confusion, the bell ring once again that I have to ignore the sudden missing man.

I open the door and greet my senior and friends "Good Evening, Rias-Buchou, Akeno-sempai, Kiba, and Koneko-chan." They return my greeting except for Koneko who mumble a quiet insult. I lead them inside to the dining room as it was the only place big enough to accommodate all this guests.

At the dining room, I saw Iva who putting some dish and snack with the help of Asia who smiling happily near my stoic sister. Rias who notice her spoke first "Eh! Iva you're back!"

Iva look at Rias like she is stupid "As you can see, I'll stay in my room, please call me if you need something brother." With that she left us in the dining room, I tried to break the awkward situation by explain Iva's attitude "I'm sorry, if she make you feel insulted. Iva dislike pointless statement like that."

Rias then show an understanding smile "So, that is the reason. I thought that your sister hate me so much, that she become even more cold than the usual. Well just let us begin our club activities." Then we begin to discuss about our progress in collecting devils contract. It's very embarrassing that I have the least progress than Asia who is the newcomer, because somehow I cannot use the teleportation spell that make me have to use a bike to go to the costumers home. This action make doubt at the human as I have no visible magic to show.

We continue to talk while sometimes jokes like a normal friend, I like this club this is a place where I can be myself without worries and they accept me. Then Asia notice something "By the way, why this thick book is here? Did you forget to put it away?" she said as she open the book because curiosity. I look at the book then recognize it "Wait! Don't open it! it's not a book, but Iva and my childhood photo albums."

Hearing that the club members surrounded the album while making it out my reach. Rias squeal in happiness "Oh my Satan, I can't believe it! Both of you so adorable when you're a baby, especially Iva with that little pout." she currently looking at my and Iva's moment when we still in the same cradle.

Akeno let out a soft giggles "Ara, ara, Ise-kun are you really the older twin? It's seems you're really an egoist baby that trouble your sister. You even stole her toys." She show the photo of I forcefully shove my sister angrily and take her reven plushie. I look away embarassed as I still have that stuffed toy in my room for some reason I won't let it go even now. Now that I think of it, my former dragon plushie still decorating Iva's room till now.

Koneko suddenly claim "Sempai is a Crybaby" while pointing the photo where I got bullied by the bully in kindergarten but hearing my cry, Iva come and beat up those trouble maker and she pile them up like a trash.

"Wow Iva-san even when a child still amazing." praise Asia as she show the pictures of Iva getting a medal when she still in the kindergarten for winning an adult chess championship. "No way! So the mysterious winner all this time is your sister! I wonder what Sona face will be like when I show her this picture." Rias photo that picture with her phone while grinning.

The silent Kiba suddenly speak "Ise-kun this picture..." I could sense the atmosphere is wierd around him so I walk to him and look the picture that make him so silent. "Ah...This is a picture a boy who used to live in this neighborhood when we still a child and we used to play heroes a lot. But he has to went aboard because his perents work. I remember that well because Iva always distracted me when I feel lonely with he gone."

"No, I mean this sword. Do you remember this?" Kiba ask. I think a while but my memory is blurry about that sword but "I was a child back then. So I don't really remember it, but Iva might remember something because she have eidetic memory, I also remember she asking my friend father about it.

"I see, then excuse me Ise-kun can I go upstairs and ask Iva-san about this." I give him a nod as I look at him blank faced walk upstairs. I thought how odd he acting.
