I had been here for nearly a month. Grand Duchess always went out to meet her other friends. So I was always left alone. This was a popular retreat location for nobles. To be exact, this island was a popular retreat location for 'older' nobles. There were only two young female nobles that were close to my age on this island. "Yes, around a month. But it's alright. Everything stays the same here, we have enough food stored. The ferrying just stops."

"How about wind or water controller? Can't wind or water controller help?" I asked.

"You haven't heard of the legend?"

"Legend has it that this is where the mermaids reside. They have this part of the sea charmed. So our powers cannot affect it. And this may also be a reason why the monsoon affects the sea so much."

"That's quite fascinating. I have never heard of it." Maybe I should buy that Mysteries of Coral Cliff from the bookshop.

This girl crashed into a random stranger while apparently playing 'come and catch me' with this lover boy. But she did not apologize. That lover boy was shooting me eye daggers. For what? Passing by this square when you two played 'come and catch me'? My feeling towards them turned into annoyance.

"Lucien, I'm alright. It's not very painful."

Lucien? Lucien and Felicity? It couldn't be... no... that's not possible...

Me? Who was running in this crowded square? Was that me?

"Don't you think I will be afraid of you just because you are some lady. You crashed into me, apologize," Felicity demanded.

My maid looked like she planned to continue to defend me, I stopped her. It's useless. They were really the Lucien and Felicity. That stupid prince of Edehan who was driven away from his country by Lord Astor. And that girl, his wife, who was the embodiment of luck.

"I am sorry. I am sorry for passing by this square at an inappropriate time." I was so sorry for myself. My good mood was ruined because of them.

"Lady..." I stopped her with a look. It's really best not to leave an impression. Whatever Felicity wished, the world gave it to her. That's her power.
