1 Ch. 1 The End

As he lay in bed staring at the ceiling Luke thought of his life, how it was wasted. He was 34 and no family. As well as being stuck with a dead end job. "Why do I have to live like this?" Luke Silently complained to himself.

he could only think of what he could have done differently, his life was nothing but meaningless.

Luke turned out his light paying no mind to his surroundings he tripped over the leg of his chair and in the dead of night Luke mad a loud thud and a moment later there was a sudden crash in the kitchen seeming to be in response to Luke's fall. Luke's realization of what happened, his plates fell off the counter, only because he was too lazy and left them, they fell though Luke quickly realized they couldn't have fallen on thier own he tensed as his mind raced of what to do, his first thought was to lock the door. But he was frozen in fear and uncertainty, unable to bring himself to do move. he sat back to the wall as not a moment later repetitious thuds sounded the halls, seeming to track the noise Luke had made. These footsteps were on thier way to Luke and he was stuck frozen, shaking and silent, he waited, hoped for it to be a dream.

His mind was falling apart as every footstep he heard got closer and closer. Luke's nightmares coming to fruition as the steps neared. The closer the heavy thuds of each step sounded, the faster his heart raced, the more he prayed he would not suffer and it was all a misunderstanding. Then the steps halted, there was only silence, but in that silence there was solid tension in the air.

Luke's door slowly opened with a loud suspenseful creak, a bruting aura filled the room. In this moment Luke's heart stopped, skipping several beats. A in-discernable entered his room, wearing dark clothes Luke could not make out any details of them, nor did he care to in the first place. He attempted to run, his body finally catching up to hid mind. But, as Luke arose, the figure simply outreached it's hand, Luke stumbling from this motion unable to make out what actually happened. Not wanting to stick around any longer Luke gathered his thoughts, deciding his only option was still to run as he knew nothing of the situation. There was a pain in his side and as he pickef himself up, he felt warm as if his whole being was on fire. Not paying mind to his body he ran not stopping for anything as his mind raced. after what seemed like an eternity Luke eventualy collapsed, covered in sweat and propped against the brick wall of a building Luke sat unable to move. The dusty and dreadful night brought tears of sadness to his eyes his escape meant nothing and he knew this, an embroidered pocket knife blade protruding from his left side Luke knew he was pressed for time. He contemplated calling someone or texting someone, but as he thought about who he might reach out to, it hit him. He never had anyone, nobody would care of his passing, Luke was truly alone. Though nothing was worse in his life than these moments of his own reflection on life. He saw flashes of his memories and Luke only saw his regrets of with there were too many to count. As these were his last moments in this world Luke accepted his fate knowing there wasn't much left for him. The cold, dull moon hung above him as the pain washed over him for the final time. Luke's soul pryed from his body unwillingly, he passed. Luke saw his body as he left it to go towards the afterlife. His cold lifeless corpse gave him dread and sorrow but there was no life left there, only a husk, an empty shell.

When he closed his eyes in a mere blink he left his world for good, and in the same moment felt a sudden pressure, like he was being pushed, he heard screaming. Luke felt as though he was trapped and being led to freedom Luke headed twords the light and he was met with a doctor who stared at him coldly, only glancing over him and checking Luke's condition the man announced "It's a Boy, congratulations" The man said, giving a vuage smile.

Luke immediately realized what was going on, he then looked around the room in a panic unsure of where he was as he saw machines so unrecognizable and unique that he presumed he was placed on an alien planet. though he was normal, same biologicly as he was in his last very life. This confused Luke as all the people were human and as far as he could tell this was earth. so why was everything so different..?
