Power System

This chapter is just explaining the power system of the world.

People can sense the power level of others unless that person is hiding it somehow.

When a child turns 6 they get tested to see if they can awaken magic or battle energy. They would become a mage or a fighter respectively.

A mage practices magic based on their attribute.

A fighter practices battle energy to strengthen their body and weapons. I may give them halo type powers in later stages. Give me ideas.

Rank 1 - 9 - Mage/Fighter Novice

Rank 10 - 19 - Mage/Fighter Apprentice

Rank 20 - 29 : Mage/Fighter Adept

Rank 30 - 39 : Mage/Fighter Expert

Rank 40 - 49 : Mage/Fighter Master

Rank 50 - 59 : Mage/Fighter Grandmaster

Rank 60 - 69 : Mage/Fighter Lord

Rank 70 - 79 : Mage/Fighter Saint

Rank 80 - 89 : Mage/Fighter Legend

Rank 90 - 99 : Titled Mage/Fighter

No one in history has ever reached 100.

In order to increase your rank you need to kill someone or thing and a percentage of that person or things power will be given to you. The percentage is always the same no matter what rank you or the other person or thing is. But obviously the higher the rank the more power you get from them because they hold more power. It gets progressively harder to rank up the higher you get. The higher the rank the longer your lifespan.

beast ranks:

Bronze- ★

Bronze- ★ ★

Silver- ★

Silver- ★ ★

Gold- ★

Gold- ★ ★

Black- ★

Black- ★ ★

Legend- ★

Legend- ★ ★

Bronze ★ is as strong as four Mage/Fighter Novice, and Bronze ★ ★ is as strong as four Mage/Fighter Apprentice and so on. You can tell the rank of the beasts by the slight color they radiate. The colors match the names of the ranks except legend which is red. ★ is a dim glow and ★ ★ is more pronounced. Same with the human ranks the higher the rank the longer the lifespan.
