41 Jackson's First Text

It's been 2 days since my first skype session with Jackson and the festival was wrapping up. Gosh, these times just goes by so quickly I thought to myself. Hmmm the final night of the festival. What should I wear? Something warm, cause I want to stay out late for the fireworks. So, a nice pair of skinny Jean's, a knitted sweater and boots should be fine. While getting dress my phone buzzed. Who could that be I wondered.... I looked at my phone and it came from an unknown number, 403-555-7037 saying "Hey". Who is this?... I thought for a moment until finally recalling that I gave Jackson my number.

Hey. I texted back.

Do you know who this is? the text replied.

me: Hello Jackson

..... whose this Jackson?

Me: ok bye

J:... wait wait! Wow so angry!

Me: Hi Jackson!

J: Hahah, you so smart! You remember me! hehe, did u miss me?

Me: ummm, why would I miss you?

J: cause I'm awesome!

Me: Ew, gross!

J: haha, you so funny girl. Anyways, what are you up to?

Me: heading out to the festival. it's the final night. & you?

J: Ouu, who are you going with?

Me: Idk, maybe just alone Carina works tonight.

J: Did you want me to keep you company?

Me: hahaha um I'm good.

J: wow, so harsh :P

Me: hahaa No I'm just real

J: Good I hate fakers.

Me: haha, but anyways, even though I dont need your company, you should still go, itll be fun u know?

J: eh, we will see.

Me: I heard that there will be a "dance" not like formal, but still a dance near the river in front of the stage.

J: We will see.

Me: ok. I'll see you there at the festival if you decide to go.

J: sounds good!

*** At the Festival

I made my way to the festival and end up running into Carina.

Me: Hey! I thought you worked?

C: I got cut. we were hella slow. I was just about to text you. Glad you're here!

Me: Haha! good, now I wont be lonely! Did you eat? let's grab some food.

Carina and I got some food and enjoyed the festival. I personally really enjoyed the live music. It was great acoustic and perfect for the scene since it's near water. I felt completely at ease and happy finally. While watching the performers, my phone buzzed.

J: Hey, are you at the festival?

Me: yes.

J: With?

Me: Carina! she got cut cause they were slow.

J: that's cool, I was worried you'll be a lonely loser

Me: Hahaha fuck off. lol

J: hey, language girl :P

Me: It dont matter, it's just u.

J: sure sure.

Me: anyways, are you coming?

J: eh probably not. I'm exhausted.

Me: haha, you should come. it's super boring, maybe you can make it fun.

J: Haha, really?

Me: yes, so u should come

J: hahaha maybe.

Me: haha no seriously, come ahha

J: haha, maybe next time. I promise. You enjoy.

Me: haha ok loser!

While texting Carina looked at me.

C: who are you texting?

Me: haha, long story short but some stuff happened (I told Carina about my skype with Jackson and how he now has my #)

C: hahaha wow, so much happened. But at least its just Jackson.

Me: Yep. but Girl! lets dance!

I grabbed Carinas hand and we joined the circle of dancers in front of the stage. I had a great time....

***From a distance....

Hm.... she looks happy.... I wonder if she still think about me.. like how I think of her... Her smile still looks the same, cute as always.... Maybe, I should go back and talk to her sometime....its been quite a while... said Kenji.. staring at Oriana.
