First Kiss

I blushed thinking about Jackson's comment.

"Why don't you make me?"

Gosh, what Am I thinking?? He's joking! What a flirt...

Although, I'll be lying, if I said it didn't make me smile a bit.. ;)

We continued eating and talking the night away. Soon enough we were finishing up. I had a total of 3 wings, while Jackson ate all the other 9 wings and took the left over 6 ragoons to go..

Me: Thanks for dinner/snack/food?-ish...It was good.

J: No problem, girl. I got chu.

I smiled.

Jackson smiled back. Soooo, where to? It's only 7:30.

Me: Hmmmm that's pretty late..

J: You gotta go?

Me: Yes.

J: Aww, no movie tonight?

Me: Haha, umm maybe next time. I'm sorry.

J: Next time it is! You owe me Ori.

Me: What? I didn't agree to this!

J: Toooooo badd! :P

Me: Fine! I'll treat you to a movie next time!

J: Yeeees!! Free movieeeee

Me: Whatever!

Jackson smiled.

J: Are you ready to go then?

Me: Yes.

We stood up from our seats and exit the doors.

Jackson walked in front and I followed behind, only to bump into him when he stopped.

Me: Ouch! Why did you stop?

As I walked to his left side, our shoulders touching.

Me: What are you looking at?

J: ....

Me: Jackson?

J: Nothing.. Ori.. I'm actually waiting..

Me: Waiting? For what? You drove your own car...?

J: Tsk. No Ori. I'm waiting for you

Me: For me? What for?

J: *Ahemm Ahem...

As he looked down to his left side where his hands were.

I followed his glance to see that his hand rested on his hips, creating a space for my arm to hook through with his.

Me:...

J: Come on Ori. I'm waiting.

I smiled shyly.

Me: Alright. *I hooked arms with Jackson

Jackson smiled and we walked to his car. We walked towards the passenger side first where I sat. He opened the door.

Jackson smiled. "Just get in Ori." He said.

I got in the car.

Jackson got in on his side and started the car.

J: Are you full? You didn't eat much.

Me: Yeah I'm alright.

J: Are you sure you just weren't shy to eat a lot in front of me?

Me: Yes.. geez.. I just didn't want to eat that much and I mean if ONLY someone ordered me something else other than crab ragoon.....

J: OMG! Don't blame me! You didn't say anything!!!

Me: Well, you didn't ask :P

J: Fine fine. Next time. I'll be sure to ask.

Me: Good :) You better!

The car ride home consisted of laughter and teasing of each other about how work sucked and complaining about how stupid managers were. Soon enough we were outside my house.

Me: Here we are.

J: Don't move. I'll open the door for me.

Me: Geez, I got hands. I can do it.

J: Shhhh Don't move !!

Me: No, Seriously I'm ok. I'll let myself out.

J: No Ori. Don't make me babyproof that door..... If that's what it's called. You know when you lock it and babies can't get out unless...open..from the outside?

Me: Hahah wow! Really?

J: Yes. So.. SH! *Jackson got out of the car and opened my side*

Me: Thaanks. You're such a gentleman.. even though we both are in sweatpants and sweatshirts... lol

J: Of Course... :P Sooo, Did I sweep you off your feet yet?

Me: Haha Loser ! Ummmmmm No. You gotta do better than that.

I turned around away from the car. Jackson blocked me, standing in my way.

J: Umm.. Aren't you forgetting something?

Me:... No?

J: Come On Ori.. Don't act like you forgot.

Me: ?????

J: Seriously? You did it the last time!!!

Me: Hahah Okay okay, geez relax you child!

J: Yes I'm a child!

I reached my hands and arms out and hugged Jackson. Jackson hugged me back. His hug from this one, felt different from the other time.. His embrace felt warm, and calm. Not to mention his sweater on my cheeks felt soft creating a nice feeling inside me, feeling relaxed as if everything stopped and stared at us. (Jackson is a few inches taller than me. I was up to his eyes, but with my head turned towards the side and leaned down, my face sits perfectly on his shoulder). The moment we hugged felt like a long while.. Soon enough I snapped out of it. Remembering I was hugging Jackson.. of all people.. yes Jackson..... I got embarrassed and pulled away, to look at Jackson. Jackson to my surprise also looked at me, giving me a warm, gentle smile. I blushed.

"Umm.. I should go now. It's getting late," I said, as I broke our eye contact.

"....yeahh... Ok" Jackson said... still holding on to my arms, in which we were elbows apart from each other, still facing each other...

I looked at him again and smiled... His smiled continued to be on his face.

"Umm.. Jackson.??..." I said. Trying to pull my arms away from his grasp.

Jackson grasp me more as I pulled away. I glanced up at him again.

This time, Jackson slowly leaned in towards me, closed his eyes and turned his head to the right...

My heart pounded... I can feel the sweat creeping up on my skin..

What am I doing?? I asked myself in my head... I don't know replied myself.. But this just feels right.... Should I just go for it?? What do I do? Ah! I can't escape!!!! Is this too soon?!?!?!?!!

With all these thoughts in my head, the answers came naturally to me when I looked at his face again. Eyes closed, head turned to the right, leaning in...his lips puckered a little now...

I took a deep breathe.....It was too cute I thought... I smiled and also leaned my head to the right.... and puckered my lips.

Our lips met and that night we shared our first kiss, and for the first time ever, the world around us was silent. Nothing else was heard... But the sound of our hearts... beating together... as one.. <3

Yes.. Jackson, You swept me off my feet.
