Accident

Carina and I were super focused, once the competition started we became silent. Each time we caught the ball, we took a step back now being 10 steps away from where we started. All the other competitors soon one by one dropped the ball. There was a total of 15 pairs, having an end of Carina and I, along with Scotty and his brother right next to us. I can tell Carina was struggling because Scotty kept asking and giving her small talks, but she did well ignoring his comments. I can tell she hated his guts and in a way wished this competition would end already because she just wanted to get the hell away from him. I felt bad and thought maybe we should just forfeit knowing Carina can Blow up on Scotty any minute now, but pleasure of winning his ass would be sweeter if they still looked after bugging Carina all this time.

We continued on the ball toss and it was my turn to take a step back. When I did however, I accidentally stepped on someone's shoes, which made me lose my balance. This not only caused us to lose the game in which we were doing so well in, but also, I just had to fall right into this strangers arm in which I accidentally grabbed his shoulder trying to keep my balance.

The ball Carina and I were throwing back and forth hit the ground at my feet & right then and there I made eye contact with the stranger who I stepped on and who now I was in his arms. The world seemed to be in complete silence only with the wind whistling while looking at him having his arms around me, and our eyes meeting.

This stranger was not too tall, but tall enough, and thin but had muscles with thick black hair, perfectly round dark brown eyes and nice lips.

I didnt noticed I was checking his facial features out until a smiled appeared on his face, as he asked me,

"Are you ok?"
