1. Where it begins...

"Alana wake up your gonna be late for school!" my mother yells at me threw the door.

As I slowly open my eyes I shut my alarm clock off that blaring. As I look to see the time it is 7:25. SHIT! School starts in 35 minutes and it takes 20 to get there.

I jump up and run to my bathroom to brush my teeth and pull my hair up. Rush to my closet and pull on my favorite jeans that cling to my figure that are a faded light blue. As I search for a top I find a pretty half sleeve blue shirt. As I go to put it on my mom yells at me agian.

"Alana you only have 5 more minutes before you have to leave!"

"I know mom I'm almost done"

As I grad my stuff I stop to look in my full length mirror. I guess you could call me pretty I have long curly hair that when down reaches my hips. A carmel completion that is clear with full lips and emerald green eyes. Long legs and athletically built. I have been a volleyball player since I was 8.

As I rush down the stairs to the kitchen my mom hands me a banana and gives me a kiss on my forehead. "I can't believe my baby girl is 17 today" as she holds back her tears. " Good luck finding your mate today hunny."

"Thanks mom. I love you." As I turn to leave with 1 minute to spare.
