13 Is it a knight or a prince? (II)

"What happened to you?!"

The top student of the Class 2-1 grabbed the boy who came from the bathroom. She inspected him from head to toe and gritted her teeth. "Who the heck did this to you?" She asked with her glaring eyes.

"Nana, I'm fine.." he replied with his meek voice. The poor boy who just got bullied walked silently to his seat.

The girl taller than him with light brown, silky, wavy hair up to her waist followed him. She sat down and rummaged through something in her bag. "Take it," she said, reaching a box of band aids to the boy. They are seatmates.

Years are divided into two sections:

Class 2-1, the students with top grades and scholars of the E University. The class with no power, they said. Only using their brains to graduate from a prestigious school. Their parents are working very hard to give everything they need.

The Class 2-A, where students like Liechael, Shaun and Lilith, were accepted. Students who didn't need to study that hard to prove themselves. Rich and famous families.

Since Class A is more superior, they bully the students from Class 1. Some of the poor students will just stay quiet because they're scared of getting kicked out by the School. Of course, they will endure everything for a better future.

"Where's your eyeglasses?" The girl he's calling 'Nana' asked him again, with her eyebrows meeting between the nose. She unwrapped another band aid and pasted it onto the boy's cheeks.

"It's broken," the nerd boy mumbled.

Nana stood up, "WHAT?!!" She clenched her fist very tight with her heart slowly crashing down. Those rich kids really got into her nerves in an instant. She wanted to kick their asses and report them to the higher ups, even if she knew that the guidance officer would just ignore it.

Seeing the broken glasses of the boy from the desk made her boil. "They needed to pay for this," she snarled. "Justin! This is the third time!" She faced him with pitiful eyes. "Are you just going to sit and let them have their way?"

Justin lowered his head and clenched Nana's sleeves. "Please…" he pleaded. "I don't want to worry my father," he mumbled.

"Miss Collins, take your seat..the class will start now,"

Alaena jolted and sat down upon seeing their professor enter the room. "I apologize, Professor,"

Their classmates have been looking at Justin since he arrived in the classroom, but they really didn't mind because it was normal for them to see the boy going to school like this. They didn't dare to meddle. They already knew what consequences were waiting for them.

Justin Adley, 16 years old. Scholar student and top 3 in class. A nerd, they said. Always wearing thick glasses and carrying books in his arms. He liked his things organized. He likes to explore history and is good at math. Small voice and timid. He's usually alone all the time. He had this black hair and a small face. Thin lips and roundish brown eyes. He's smaller than Alaena.

THUD!!

The long table of the cafeteria sounded when a student slammed her hands on it. The plates and glasses bounced while leaving a surprise expression on the 5 guys eating their lunch.

"You need to pay this!" Alaena pointed to the broken glasses she just shoved in front of them. "You bullies should pay for this! Justin's father worked hard to buy him a new eyeglass"

One of the 5 upperclassmen crossed his arms and laughed. "Who's Justin?" he asked. "I don't care about him, get lost" then he laughed with his friends.

Alaena knows that they are in their third years, but she'll never have their way. Justin endured so much. At least as a friend, she liked to help him. She picked up the glass of cold water and poured it directly at the guy who mocked her earlier.

The water flowed down to his red coat uniform.

BANG!

The table flew to the corner; it made a loud sound that scared the students. Some gathered around to see what's happening.

"Did she lose her mind? Starting a fight with the third year from Class A?"

"Don't stop them, I don't want to get involved"

"Just let her be, she will face expulsion soon.."

The murmuring sounds from the other students made the guy proud. Even if he's already drenched from the water pouring down from his head, he still managed to smirk and looked down at Alaena. "Do you really want to expel that badly?" he leaned closer.

Alaena made her eyes more sharp and cold. "Don't get closer to m---Ngh!!" She groaned when one of them grabbed her wrist very hard. "Let me go!! You bastard!"

The moment she yelled this, Liechael pushed himself from the crowd and saw her situation. Clenching his fist with the popping veins. His face almost turned red from anger.

"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?!"

A roaring voice resounded inside the cafeteria. Alaena immediately got pulled away from the two guys holding her. A tall shadow covered them with his intimidating aura, glaring fox-like grey eyes. He slapped the guy's hand just like that and pulled the girl onto his chest, holding her tight.

He knew that Alaena was about to cry, so he hid her face in his chest. "What the heck do you think you are doing?! Bullying a girl?!"

The five guys, who's acting all bossy earlier, shivered. With the chills down to their spine, their tails curled behind. Cursing themselves because today is their unlucky day. "She's the first one who came to us!" one of them reasoned out. "Look! She even poured water on Railey!" He's talking about their leader.

"Huh?" The newly arrived male struck them again with his sharp gaze as he cursed out. "Get lost, fuckers"

In the middle of the decreasing crowd, murmuring sounds can be heard as the student parted away and did their own business.

"That's so scary"

"Yeah, that delinquent from the third year is indeed scary"

"I can't believe that he scared Railey just like that,"

"What was his name again?"

"It's Aiden...Aiden Thompson,"

The chattering voices vanished away, deafening his ears. Liechael got stuck with his feet. Frozen liked ice while witnessing the scene that slowly made him feel the needles stinging his chest repeatedly.

He wanted to play back everything while wishing that it was him. It's not him. He's not the one who protected Alaena. It was someone else.

Liechael realized—he's just a prince, not a knight.
