28 I Have Great News! (Well, Great for Me)

20XX, September 29, Tuesday; Konner House, My Room

Hahaha! Sorry, it's been what? Around five years since I last wrote? But I really have some interesting news and I don't know who to tell it to.

First, the usual, Sean Fenris again here, sixteen years old, a first year high school student. I'm still living with our aunt in the same house together with Eli. He's in middle school and joined their school's soccer team. As for me, I didn't join any clubs in my highschool yet but thinking of joining the drama club. I'll explain that next time.

Let's first start with my news. So, like I wrote earlier, I don't know who to tell this to. You see, I still don't like being at home alone even though our uncle wasn't with us anymore so I stay at the school library. At least until I was sure Eli was done with his club and sometimes, we go home together.

One day, at the library, since I've read a lot of the nearby books and there was only a few staffs to ask for help, I decided to look around the farther aisles to search for more books. The one I decided to read was on a high shelf and I didn't see anyone to ask for help so I used the ladder like thing they have in the library. I don't know what that's called.

Anyway, I know this is kinda cliche, but I slipped when I used the ladder. Well, it was actually not stable. I guess that's why it was put aside in a wall in a darker area. I just moved it to the shelf where the book I want was.

So I fell since I also didn't find anything to hold on to. At least I got the book I was supposed to be getting. Well, there was actually a person below the ladder. Afterwards, he told me that he saw me using the ladder and he was going to warn me not to use it.

Well, I fell on him since he tried to save me and I actually managed to hit him with the book I was holding! So embarrassing! When I looked at him, I saw that he was really cute but he was holding his head and his eyes were closed, looking like I really hit him hard. And I was sitting in his lap when we both fell! So so embarrassing! I think I was really red at that time.

I kept saying sorry when we stood up. He introduced himself since he said he kinda knew me from school. He really looks young, only a few years older than me but he was actually a teacher in training at our school and he also visits the library everyday. So we talked for a while until I noticed the time and then we left. I never got to read the book I did all those climbing for, actually. Well, that's it.

I don't want to tell Eli about guys since he was already annoyed with me if we were seen walking together by people not knowing we were siblings. He actually doesn't talk to me that much like before. Maybe it was just our interests deviating.

It's weirder to talk to aunt. We're not close and the guy is older than me so I really won't tell her. Anyway, I don't think this is really serious. It was just the first time I liked someone.
