Local Chief of Police Dead in a Fire!

By Mark Leaden

8AM April 28, 2003

A fire broke out in the small town of XXX affecting several houses. The local police confirmed that the fire destroyed the house of local chief of police, Henry Fenris, which resulted to his death.

According to the head of the fire department, they received a report at 11:50 pm from one of the neighbors, Philomena Chancy. From an interview with her, she learned of the fire when she was woken up by her cats and dogs yowling and barking. Mrs. Chansy was living beside the house of the dead Henry Fenris but she was glad the fire did not manage to completely destroy her house.

The children of Henry Fenris (Sean Fenris, daughter, and Eleazer Fenris, son) managed to save themselves by going out their room's window which was on the other side of the house and was not affected by the fire at the time of their escape.

An interview with the neighbors told us that they thought it was only the two children at home since nobody noticed the father when he got home.

Further investigation of our team unearthed an old report from town XXX. The wife of Henry Fenris comitted suicide before they moved to this town.

The blaze was declared extinguished just before 2am today. Police said investigators had yet to establish what caused the blaze.
