17 After Almost Two Years

Hey! It's really been along time since I last wrote. Almost two years now, I think. So I'm ten now, just had my birthday a few days ago, and Eli is five, just started kindergarten this year. Oh, yeah, it's Sean, Sean Fenris writing again.

Well, I was looking for some things for Eli's project and found this so I decided to write the latest news of our family.

Mom is the same so let's skip that. Dad got new people in the force because of their help in searching for that murderer last time. So, since our town doesn't really get much work for the police except for a few 'domestic violence' and crowd control, dad has a lot of free time.

You'd think he'll spend it with us but, once Eli started going to school, he doesn't even give some of his time to us. I think he often goes on a date with Chelsea. Remember Chelsea? The 'babysitter'?

So her daughter died in our school camp around two years ago then she divorced her husband. The divorce was actually not surprising to anybody even to me since I already saw dad and her on a date. Oh, and her daughter who died looked like she had grudge on me because of that and that's really unfair. It's not like it was my fault.

Of course she's not the PTA president now since she doesn't have a kid going to our school anymore but she still has some charity events with her friends and she invites dad. I really don't know what her job is but I heard from the neighbors that she was a former beauty queen and she got a lot of 'alimony' from the divorce.

Then, Chelsea even had an event on my birthday and they attended that so I only cooked spaghetti for Eli and me. Dad really forgot my birthday since he didn't even greet me or give me a gift. He always got home a little drunk from these events.

As for Eli, he started school last year so he doesn't need a babysitter anymore. I also got back the responsibility of taking him to school before I go to my school then get him after my classes. Dad was not always at home so I have no choice. Good thing I will be graduating soon so I don't have much to do at school these days.

Our life is really boring. There was just one time when Eli got bullied. Another kid from his school often calls him names and excludes him from playing.

I told dad about it but I don't think he was listening. I think he wouldn't even notice if Eli and I were gone. So I taught Eli how to get revenge that nobody will notice. I won't write it here though. Haha..

There, that's the summary of the last two years. I have to stop here to help Eli with his project.
