100 Entangled

"Max, no. Don't shoot him," I heard the soft murmur of her voice and felt her shifting next to me. My eyes flew open and I jerked upright on my bed and I saw Rose moving her head from side to side. Her lips formed the words,

"Jordan, run… Jordan…no.." Her eyelids fluttered uncontrollably and her body spasmed. Her fingers curled around the fabric of the sheets until her knuckles turned white. 

"Rose…" I touched her face, pushing her hair away. "Rose, it's okay. It's a nightmare… baby.." I shook her shoulders. "Rose, it's okay. I'm right here.." 

Her tiny chest moved up and down in a rapid motion as she jerked her head from side to side. "No... he's going to kill you… Jordan.." she mumbled. A light sheen of sweat formed on her forehead. 

"Rose, I'm right here. I'm right here…" I said.
