A Daring Challenge

Gusion stayed in his room for the rest of the day. It was already 3pm, and Gusion did nothing but sit all day. Alucard who got worried knocked on Gusion's room.

"Gusion! Hey Gusion, what are you doing?" Alucard shouted.

Gusion would not answer. Instead, he laid down on his bed and covered his ears with the pillows.

"Gus, I know you're in there, get outta there!"

He knocked and knocked on the door, but Gusion didn't answer or reply.

"Open up man! It's me! Alucard!"

It took almost half an hour until Alucard finally gave up and left. Gusion had already fell asleep. He woke up once again at 6am.

"God, did I just fall asleep again???"

He went to his wardrobe, and dressed up in his Cyber Ops Uniform. He opened the window, then jumped out.

"Cyber Ops, activate!"

He flied to a nearby convenience store near the S.A.B.E.R. Tower. He bought food and medicine to bring to Lesley, who he forgot to visit earlier in the day. After that, he went to the elevator in the tower, and went to Lesley, who was staying in the Infirmary.

As he was on his way to the Infirmary, Alucard ran over to him.

"Damn Gusion!" Alu said. "What the hell is wrong with you man?"

"What? He replied. "What the hell is wrong with me? I don't understand."

"What do you mean? You're lying! I was calling you in your room earlier but you didn't open."

"I don't know what the hell you're talking about. Just get out of my way!"

"Hey, Hey! What are you..."

He ignored Alucard and he went straight to the Infirmary. As he entered, he saw Lancelot, Guinevere and Odette waiting for him. He ignored them, but Lancelot stopped Gusion.

"What the hell do you want spearhead?!" Gusion shouted.

"Grid 47, Damascus Arena, 10am, tommorow. Be there. The best man wins." Lance whispered.

And the trio walked away. Gusion knew Lancelot was challenging him to a duel. His face went dark, as he heard what he said. Layla saw Gusion standing, and she immediately approached him.

"Gusion!"

She put her hand on his shoulder, and Gusion held her arm. They had a little talk, then they went to Lesley's bed. She was still unconscious from yesterday. Gusion and Layla had a long conversation as he was talking about what Lance did to him. He even cried on Layla's shoulder, when he talking about everything he felt.

"I'm really sorry if I caused you any trouble Layla." Gusion said. "I usually lose myself when I get angry."

"I understand how you feel Gus. There's no need to worry." she replied, wiping off Gusion's tears. "Good luck on your duel and don't cause any trouble okay?"

And after that Gusion went back to his room and took his old mage book and Holy Blade in his bag. He then went to the Forge Room, then the armory.As Gusion was hammering and enchanting his blade, he thought all about what Lancelot did to him in the past. He stayed up all night, and he wasn't able to get any sleep.
