Background: Lieutenant William Hardy was on the Foundations radar since the day he first joined the Navy SEALS at 17, showing outstanding physical prowess during the recruitment test and every test beyond that. After four years and an astounding record, the Foundation made him an offer which he accepted and he was sorted into MTF Nu-7 after a month-long training camp. Two years after that, he was moved to MTF Epsilon-6 and a further two years after that he was sent to MTF Pi-1. After a year in Pi-1, he was moved to Lambda-12 where he spent three years before being killed in action while tracking [REDACTED].

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4139 is allowed free roam of the facility, obviously barring anything that would breach security or safety protocols. Any time SCP-4139 leaves its private quarters it must be accompanied by at least three agents outfitted in restraining weaponry. 4139 is to kept in a normal humanoid containment cell in Site-17 but necessary reinforcements are needed for said cell to stop the entity from making an escape. On every night where there is a full moon, security around the entity's cell must be increased as much as possible and [REDACTED]kg of raw meat and bone covered in human blood must be deposited inside the cell through the fitted dispenser. In the case of a containment breach, guards are to use the polymer webbing grenades to limit SCP-4139's movement as much as possible before hitting it with as many tranquillisers as it takes to knock the entity out.

Description: SCP-4139 is a Caucasian male with pale skin, black hair and dark yellow eyes approximately 1.98m tall and weighing an inhuman 216kg. It's physique is one of pure brawn with perfectly proportioned muscles, broad shoulders and exceptional conditioning, and has been shown to stay perfectly the same despite no exercise being done.

Due to the extensive and anomalous genetic changes of unknown origin, SCP-4139 has gained superhuman physical abilities. Including bestial-levels of strength, impossibly dense bodily tissue which lends it incredible durability and massively improved healing, stamina and vitality which make the entity very hard to put down for long. Discovered within a month of the entity being in Foundation care, SCP-4139 has multiple anomalous changes that grant it superhuman speed and reflexes alongside improving it's internal and external durability to withstand the inhuman displays of speed, sudden acceleration and sudden deceleration. During further tests, 4139 also shows up on metal detectors and through the use of a powerful X-Ray machine, it was shown that the entity has an unknown metal bonded to it's skeleton and that it has retractable claws in each of it's fingers. This metal also covers the claws, and is sharpened to a deadly edge that has been shown to cut through most known materials - the covering on it's skeleton has made his bones nigh-unbreakable.

Oddly enough, SCP-4139's body temperature is much higher than a normal humans being above 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Thus it has shown incredible resistance to the cold and has been shown to resist subzero temperatures without much trouble. It has also been shown to function in hotter than normal temperatures with the same level of ease, though this was to be expected.

Every full moon, SCP-4139 turns into a bipedal bear-man who knows no reason and functions off of instinct alone. The entity's physical prowess, which is already obscene, becomes even more so and as such has broken it's containment dozens of times because of the boost it receives due to the change - though it would be pertinent to note that SCP-4139 does not and can not control itself during these changes and has explained to the researcher in charge of 4139's containment that it only receives snippets of it's time while changed and that it is "sort of like a dream". The transformation itself has been described by 4139 as a horrifically painful and mind-numbing process, seen as truth by researchers who've watched 4139 pass out at some point during every one of it's transformations that plague it every month.

T1. Request to use silver on the subject (GRANTED)

- Silver has shown to have no adverse effects on the SCP, in either it's human form or it's, colloquially referred to as, 'werebear' form.

T2. Request to use silver dust and introduce it to the subjects pulmonary system (GRANTED)

- Silver dust was introduce to the containment cell via the vents but showed no effect outside of making SCP-4139 sneeze every once in a while.

T2a. Request to inject trace amounts of silver dust into the subject's blood stream (DENIED; You're just being silly now. Silver obviously has no effect upon 4139. It may look like a werebeast once it changes, it may act like a werebeast when it changes and it may change on a full moon like a werebeast but it's quite certain now that it doesn't share their weaknesses.)

T3. Request to test certain non-lethal venoms and poisons on the subject (GRANTED)

- The multitude of venoms and poisons showed no effect on the subject other than a slight increase in temperature.

- Subject's physical strength, stamina, speed and reflexes are all utterly superior to any normal, non-anomalous human and seem entirely physical in origin. In it's base state, SCP-4139 was able to lift fifty tonnes with a single hand and without much effort, run well in the excess of Mach 4, do these tests for hours without sign of exhaustion and could react to kinetic projectiles just as fast, if not faster than bullets with ease. Testing suspended; reasoning being that letting 4139 discover the limits to it's prowess could lead to the Foundations disadvantage.
