63 063 - Growth

[A/N: My dad's surgery went okay but he's going to be bedridden for the next two weeks and My brother and I have to take care of him, so expect the chapters to be either shorter or later and perhaps may even be only one or two a week until he's better]

[A/N: As always you can find my Discord in my author's note!]

As the days passed I have put in quite a bit of work on Labyrinthian even going as far as to make a literal mine under the city that holds all of the types of ores found in Skyrim.

I even began hiring Miners and also bought any ores they find and give them a decent wage.

So now the city has Miners, Vendors, Hunters, Mages, and an Orc Blacksmith who moved in just the other day.

I sell mined ores to the blacksmith and he in return, makes armor and weapons with the ore and then goes on to sell the items for a profit and then uses some of that money to buy more ores from me, its an infinite cycle where we both profit.

Plus perhaps in time, his skill in Blacksmithing will increase beyond what it is now.

Who knows, he may eventually be able to craft Ebony or Dragonbone Armor!

But I won't keep raising my expectations, for now, we will see if he has the potential.

Flying to the Mage Tower I found the High Elf reading through a Spell Tome on Lightning Bolts in the library and both Morokei and Vokun talking to each other in the library.

"Interesting, so the Empire...who is being puppeted by the Thalmor, who are a bunch of High Elves, is in a Civil War with a group of nords called the Stormcloaks and the Thalmor's goal is to weaken all of Skyrim so they can conquer it easier?" Vokun asked Morokei.

"It would seem so," Morokei replied.

"Are the people of Tamriel now stupid? How could they not see the Thalmor's obvious goals?" Vokun asked with disbelief.

"Because most people just live their lives, while the leaders and generals focus on themselves and their fiefdoms, and it's not like no one noticed, General Tullius, the Imperial General who is leading the Empire against the Stormcloaks knows of the Thalmor's plans and is actually trying to stop the war so no more lives are lost and so that Man does not weaken themselves any further and fall into the High Elves trap," I explained to Vokun.

[A/N: That's right, for those of you clueless, the Empire is actually the good guys, not the stormcloaks, plus the Empire accepts everyone and is not racist like the Stormcloaks, for example during the beginning of the game when the player sees the Thalmor confronting General Tullius the Thalmor were actually trying to get General Tullius to free Ulfric so that the war could continue, but against the Elves wishes General Tullius tried to execute Ulfric so that Man could defend itself against the High Elves for when they try to conquer the world.

If you want to know more watch "Can you Beat the Skyrim Civil War with only Archery ;)" by G00SE_IT, the title was clickbait so that people could learn the truth about the civil war]

Then both of the Dragon Priests sighed, even they knew that they were like this long ago when they ruled their kingdoms under their Dragon Overlords.

"Besides that, I want your opinion on what we should name the tower and the 'school' you will both be teaching in," I asked them.

[A/N: Give name suggestions!]

As we went deep into the conversation I soon left so that those two could continue arguing about the school name.

Although they are Dragon Priests and were cruel and violent rulers I was not going to kill them, they have their uses and why not use them to better the world?

Well then, since I have the time I will go check on Mortimer who was still studying at the College of Winterhold.

Teleporting to the College I was greeted by a few students to who I taught some basic science and even asked if I would continue teaching it, and of course, I replied I would at the Mage Tower in Labyrinthian.

It's not poaching... it is merely...telling them the truth, yes the truth.

I asked where I could find Mortimer and they gladly guided me to the College's Library.

Once there I found Mortimer reading through a Tome that was based on the Spell, Close Wounds.

"Hey Mortimer," I greeted.

"Ah, greetings Zephyr. It's been a while, how have the others been?" Mortimer asked, closing the tome.

"Good, we even have some new tenants that I think you should meet," I told Mortimer.

"Oh? That's nice...anyway, why are visiting little old me?" Mortimer asked.

"Nothing much just wanted to let you know I am setting up a Magic Tower at Labyrinthian which has two ancient Dragon Priest Mages to teach magic, and also that Tommy will be visiting a new world soon and I want to know if you would like to join us? Perhaps it will be something that can help you with your journey?" I asked.

"Hmmm, I could use a break...plus I should meet our new tenants," Mortimer told me.
