62 062 - Vokun, the Second Dragon Priest Part 2

[A/N: Sorry I was in a rush to write this chapter since my father has Surgery today that's going to leave him bedridden for two weeks and I need to be there, so it's a bit smaller than the other chapters! Anyway, hope you all enjoy it!]

"Well, you must be Vokun!" I greeted with a simple fireball being fired at me as a response.

Summoning a Greater Ward to block the fireball, I replied, "Now that's rude! Do you not have any manners!"

And its reply was a growl as it summoned a Storm Atronach and a Frost Cloak.

"I thought you were supposed to be good at Conjuration Magic, Illusion Magic, and Alteration Magic! Not destruction magic!" I shouted in response as I instantly destroyed the Storm Atronach with an exploding sunflame fireball.

I focused back over to him and used a new Illusion Magic spell which I have been working on for a while.

I called it 'The World of Nightmares'.

Basically, it would use the person's nightmares and memories against them until they break down mentally.

It's a cruel Master-level spell but it's one of my few spells that would not cause physical harm to the user and would only incapacitate them.

But it appeared Vokun was not going to just sit here and take it without fighting back.

He threw his own kind of illusion magic back at me, but I used another spell that I created for situations just like this, 'Mental Barrier'.

As long as he could not overpower my Barrier his illusion magic would be ineffective on me.

As he struggled in his mind against his nightmares, I used another new spell I created called 'Holy Chains'.

Basically, I could summon chains made of a modified sunflame that would weaken the Undead while it bound their arms and legs.

With Vokun on the ground, I looked back to the corridor and opened the large doors.

"Hey Tommy, it's safe now!" I shouted loud enough for them to hear me before walking over to Vokun and lifting him up and throwing him over my shoulder.

Soon Tommy and Lydia stepped through the door and looked at Vokun who was hanging over my shoulder in chains.

"Well enjoy the loot, oh yea, before I go tell the woman outside she's free to go," I told them before teleporting back to Labyrinthian's Magic Tower.

Appearing back in the library I could tell I made Morokei jump as I suddenly appeared next to him since the book he was holding fell to the floor.

"Found him," I stated as Morokei looked up at Vokun who was hung over my shoulders.

"So you did. Do you mind removing that potent Illusion Magic off of him? I would like to talk to my old colleague," Morokei told me as he gestured towards Vokun.

I sighed but removed the Illusion magic from him.

Placing Vokun down on a library chair I watched as moments later he began to violently struggle in the chair.

"Calm down Vokun," Morokei told Vokun as he grabbed his shoulder and took off his Dragon Priest Mask as he handed it over to me.

Looking at the dried husk before me I waved my hand and restored his appearance.

Before me was a handsome and buff Nord with short black hair and a fully grown black beard who was looking around with panic.

"You! What did you do to me!" Shouted Vokun as he looked at me with anger.

"Used a special little illusion spell of my own creation," I told him honestly as I examined the enchantments on the mask.

Apparently, my answer made him go mute seeing as how he stopped talking.

"Well anyway, welcome to Labyrinthian, for the foreseeable future you will be staying here teaching magic in the tower with Morokei, any questions?" I asked.

"Ye--"

"Good! If you have any further questions feel free to ask Morokei!" I told the two of them before walking away.

The two Dragon Priests exchanged gazes before Morokei shrugged and stated, "You get used to it, at least it's not boring here."

...

Meanwhile, I placed the mask with Morokei's mask in the Dragon Priest shrine.

Two down, six more to go.

Well, with that done onto the next problem.

In a few days, Tommy will have to travel to a new world, I can only hope that this new world has a lot of opportunities for me to gain Divine Energy.

Well since I have a few days of free time I guess I will work on Labyrinthian and get more jobs available for the people.
