8 008 - Observing

I just watched the two special Beta Players get swarmed by the slimies and I couldn't help but laugh and comment "Don't underestimate slimes!"

While they did were stuck in 'void' as I called it waiting to respawn I began observing the other beta testers.

Most players have yet to reach level 2 and those that have only just recently reached that level.

The highest leveled player was a Ranger by the username of "Black Marksman".

The person was 6ft tall and had black hair and black eyes.

I looked into his memories and was surprised by what I saw!

This man has had such a cruel life...

When he was a child he lived on the streets working as a thief for the local gangs when he turned 18 he joined the army where he killed...many people for his country, America, once he was 25 he left the army and returned to America where he found himself unable to get a job...

So...he became a hitman and a damn good one too...

180 Contracts, 178 Success, and only two failures...

He now is living a calm life in northern texas in a small town.

I scanned through his memories multiple times and learned all I could about his personality and from what I found it appears he just wants to have a HIGHER purpose in the world...wait...that gives me an idea!

[A/N: You know what I am thinking? :D]

Hmm...but I need at least 10 Divine Energy to do it...I guess all I can do is wait!

Soon the hour passed and the two special players revived.

[A/N: I cannot even begin to explain how much I want BOLD or ITALIC letters right now...it would make the story much easier to write for me and it would enhance your reading experience...]

They ventured back out into the Slime Forest but this time they made sure to hunt in the areas where the other players were hunting so they wouldn't get swarmed from all directions.

I even noticed that the slimes increased in level every day with the higher leveled slimes reproducing the same level slimes every day...

The highest level slime is currently 7 and that level 7 slime is producing more level 7 slimes!

It was truly shocking!

Thankfully I set their max levels to be 10 and to evolve past that and gain a higher form they would need to either wait at least a day and kill a few players and devour their bodies.

Only then can they evolve and reach a higher form.

Specifically, a Greater Slime can reach up to level 25 before they need to evolve once again.

I made it to where a slime's health would increase by 100 for every level, so if they reach level 25 they would have 2,500 HP!

I haven't updated them past that since I doubt any slimes would reach that level any time soon.

And if they did they would just be stuck on that level until I update their species.

Soon the 10 hours passed and all of the players had to log off.

Just like yesterday, only five hours passed in the real world and I gained 2.5 DE which leaves me with a total of 5 DE.

While I waited I surfed through the Web(Internet) and started looking through the information of the world.

I found that history matched much of the history I was familiar with and that the only difference I noticed was the existence of many new factions from the SCP universe.

It was also May 4th, 2020.

I just mentally watched youtube videos for the rest of the day.

...

Soon the night arrived and the players once again began their grind.

Now the players have all reached level two with some nearing level 3 and the slimes have reached level 8!
