14 The great catastrophe

"Look out !" Hiro pushed Luna away before the huge monster grabbed her. It roared in anger. "Come on" Hiro pulled Luna and ran as fast as he can. His heartbeat sounded loudly in his chest. People screaming and fire everywhere. The world was ending.

"Luna, are you alright?" Hiro panted. Luna spaced out. "Luna, what's wrong?" Hiro shook her. Luna didn't budge. It's as if the monster stupified her.

"No reaction. Should we be concerned?" Gogo commented as she glanced at the monster that was now heading toward their school.

"Luna!" One final scream and she finally blinked. "Hiro, are you alright?" She suddenly hugged Hiro. Hiro was taken aback by this sudden gesture.

"I am fine. Whats wrong?" Hiro pulled away. "I think I saw him. You know, Mark" Luna hugged herself as her voice broke.

Others looked at Hiro. Hiro was dumbfounded. ' how a dead person can come back?'

"Must be hallucination. Besides, we have a bigger problem to deal with" Hiro peeked into the street. The monster was spitting fire at homes.

"the monster is destroying the city" Hiro turned and his eyes turned wide.

"Where is Luna?" Hiro asked. "She was just here" Honeylemon said.

"Guys let's suit up." Hiro clicked on his phone to call for skymax. The robot that brings their suits to transform themselves to big hero 6.

Luna took the distraction as her cue and left silently out of that place. Somewhere in her brain, she felt like she has seen it before.

She looked at her watch that she once used to transform herself. "I lost Mark and promised myself to never run into trouble again. But people are dying, someone has to help" She clicked it and her body was covered with her suit. Red nanoelectro suit and supersensors helmet . Tikki showed up just after she transformed.

She climbed and swished toward the monster. She had a glimpse of the red panda flying over to the monster. She sped and stopped the red panda from doing it.

"Who are you?" The captain cutie asked.

"Don't attack the monster aimlessly for it will attack more. I am Luvi, a superhero in Las Vegas" Luna, now Luvi shouted.

Hiro behind his helmet contacted his friends. "Guys we have a new superhero" Hiro spoke through the microphone.

"Ohoh I am so excited" Fred squealed.

"how exactly do you kn-" Luvi didnt let him finish. She grabbed him by the collar away from his robot.

"Can you once listen to me? Don't be quick witted" She shouted as Hiro's leg hanged in the air.

" i am listening. Besides, is this the way you treat people?" Hiro asked. Luvi groaned and dropped him. Baymax attempted to grab him but Luvi fast.

"Ok. This monster is clearly isn't from this world and we need to distract it to the sea to avoid any mortalities." She explained.

Hiro agreed, "Ok"

Again she dropped him, this time Baymax caught him. "Phew. How can she be commanding?" Hiro glared at her.

She showed up alongside him. "I am sorry for doing that. We got no time and you were interrogating. I hope you got the plan. I will be it's distraction. Tell your team to help the public evacuate the public"

She flew past to the front of the monster. Her hair swished along with the wind. "Catch me if you can" She punched it's eyes. The diamond cracked and the monster held it in pain. It attempted to grab but Luvi dodged by an inch.

Hiro looked at her. "Guys, evacuate the public. Move the monster toward the sea".

"Roger that" Everyone said.

"Baymax, let's go" He flew toward Luvi. The wind ringing in his ears. Luvi was too distracted to see him coming. "Baymax, rocket fist" Baymax aimed at its other eye.

The moment it hit its eye, the monster's paw grabbed Baymax. Hiro was falling down. "Hiro!" Everyone shouted.

Luvi finally saw him. She aimed to go down but the monster's hand was in the way. And she did something unexpected.

She jumped off the hover board extending her hand to Hiro. The crowd beneath gasped. He caught her and now both were falling.

"Tikki! Teleport" she shouted. Her hoverboard disappeared and appeared beneath her legs. They flew past the worried team, it was a close call.

"Uh thanks?" Hiro was confused. That name, Tikki ringed a bell.

"Didn't I say to evacuate? You did a great job attacking its other eye though ." She complimented. Hiro looked at her in disbelief.

"What? I know compliments. Let's get your friend" she flew to its hand. Baymax was crushed in its hand. The monster swished and spitted fire everywhere.

It's ears twitched when Luvi flew past it and it attempted to grab her. More twitching, more grabbing and Luvi had no chance in fighting it. "It's too sensitive to sound." Hiro said,his hand rested in her shoulders.

"we need another sound source to distract it" she said. The others heard it and the big hero 6 team beeped the car horns.

The monster spitted fire to every car. "Not joking. It's way too much to handle" Wasabi jumped off the car he just beeped.

Luvi saw what was happening. People scrambling away in fear. Some children crying out loud. The world is ending. Luvi sighed.

"Hey what's wrong?" Hiro surprised that she was just now fierce. "uh nothing. It's just... Never mind" She said as she flew to the nearby alley.

Hiro got down and she did too. "I am sorry about your friend, you know" She grasped her hand insecurity .

Hiro sensed that something was definitely wrong. Hiro would have found out it was Luna straight away, if it wasn't for her voice changer.

"See this isn't your fault. We will do something." Hiro attempted to cheer her up.

"People are dying. I couldnt save them" She shouted. She wished Mark was her. Her sidekick and her best friend.

"but you saved me. You saved some people. Being a superhero is itself a great risk. You took that risk" He placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.

Luvi was moved. "Not bad. Captain cutie is really good talker" She smiled. "OK. Let's do this. Let's get your friend" She boarded the hover board. Before Hiro could, he disappeared into thin air. Her eyes widened. Above her, an UFO swished past her. "That must have took captain cutie" she followed it. It was racing toward the other side of the city away from the monster.

"Give my friend back" She shouted. Suddenly the UFO stopped and she was too fast to stop. She closed her eyes to meet the hard surface but nothing came. When she opened her eyes, she saw a beautiful young woman and a young man who was holding knife over Hiro's neck. She was hit with realisation that Hiro was Captain cutie.

"Hello sweetie. Play any tricks your friend will die" the young woman smiled innocently.
