96 Why?

His hand was ready to attack as he pushed the door open. The light coming from the room allowed him to see the room clearly. But what he saw stopped his movement almost immediately.

The room was a mess.

There were scattered items and broken furniture almost everywhere. A man was sitting with half of his body covered in blood. Not far from him, a woman was chained to the chair with her head hung low. There was no sign of either one of them still breathing.

The blood was red in color and yet there was some kind of strange bubbles on top of them. It was a weird sight as if someone had mixed soap with the blood and made it foam.

But there was no way there was someone who would want to do that in this kind of setting.

"This…" Yakov was also stunned when he entered the room.
