Do you know people who are confident and funny and always surrounded by other people?

Probably after this question you can already guess that I am not that person. I'm an ordinary, average student of High School A. I have average grades, two good friends, I'm not too loud or too quiet. Not very well-liked, either not a recluse. Average. That's me. Being my average self, I somehow managed to make friends with him. Senior Lin Tiuang, he's my neighbor and he's 3rd grade. He is tall, handsome, he has the best grades, he is fit, everyone likes him. And he likes me.

He bought me ice cream while walking. He was polite and smiling. He asked me a bunch of questions; what I liked to do, what was my childhood like, what is my favorite color.

After an hour of walking, he escorted me home.

- Hao Mingzi, I hope we'll be friends.- I nodded. He waved at me and ran to himself.

From that day on, we saw each other every day. Even for a few minutes. I saw his smiling face every day. He always worried about me. He always remembered about me. We became best friends. Last summer, I thought that maybe it would change. The night was hot, we sat on swings and ate ice cream.

- Hao Mingzi I'm glad I met you.

- I'm also glad- I smiled at him. I licked the dripping ice - how tasty.

- Mingzi, close your eyes.

- But why?

- Do it please - I listened. - Lin Tiuang what now? - I was a bit unsure, but I trusted him .- Quickly, my ice is melting.

And suddenly I felt something on my lips. Something soft. I opened my eyes and before me was Lin Tiuang pressing his mouth to mine

He stepped back.

- You are my best friend Mingzi.- smiled and kissed my forehead, then ruffled my hair.

- Hey, don't touch my head. What if I don't grow tall it would be your fault.- I continued to eat my melting ice cream. My lips were warm. My cheeks too. Cold ice cooled my lips, but nothing could cool my palpitating heart.

I looked at Lin Tiuang he laughed and sat back down on the swing next to me. He was starting at the skye. And then when I watched him, I understand. He kiss me, but nothing changed.

We were still friends, he still smiled at me, he still cared for me, but since that night he has not kissed me.

And I still like him very much.
