Chapter 1

When James Barnett was 12 years old he was homeless because of his parents they were always gambling and trying to win with blind luck and they were never lucky to get a winning ticket. When James ninth birthday was about to coming they waited until James was asleep they packed up there things and ran away. The next morning James woke up and found that there was no one in the house so he went out trying to find his parents and then after hours of searching he lost his way home. After noticing that he was lost he started crying. This boy spend one year on the streets and found out a lot of things about society he even made friends with a few homeless person like himself. One days when he was out begging for money on the streets he saw a girl she was around 14 years old she was so dazzling he was just staring and couldn't stop looking. He was so concerned when he saw the girl walking towards the girl dropped $2000 in his pan when she was walking away $5000 dropped out for her pocket.

"Miss you dropped your money" James picking up her money

"Like how you just found my money and gave it back you can have it. Ok stranger see you tomorrow bye " She said

What a pity James did not understand what she meant by ( see you tomorrow bye )so he just went and sat back down at the spot he was at.

That girl name was Gabriel Torres she was in high school and always saw James on the streets and she slowly started like him but never had the courage to go talk to him. After that encounter when Gabriel reached home she told her parents (Harry and Sofia Torres) about the boy on the street that she saw every day.

"Mom I what you guys to help this kid because I don't want him to suffer any more "She said

The next day after she finished school Gabriel went to the spot that he saw James at yesterday.

"Little boy what is your name my name is Gabriel "She said

"Uhhh James "James said frustrated

"Ok James would you like a place to call home" She said Giving James $1000

"Yes young lady but not just anybody" James said

"So if my parents adopt you would you come" She asked

"Yeah depending on how they're, just like you right "he asked

"Yes they are just like me, So Let's go let us go home together "She said dragging James hand to let him get up.

"No! how can I trust someone that I just met a day ago "James said

Gabriel kiss him on his cheek and said" Because I like you "

James was silent for a minute because his heart skip a beat and then said "if you try to take advantage of me I will run away as far as I can "

"So it's a promise then and if you try to run away I will find away to get you back because I love you " Gabriel said smiling

When they reach at the house James said" I can't believe rich people like you what to adopt me".

Gabriel open the door "mom, dad here he is"

"You should have not brought him here yet we wanted to surprise him" Sofia said

"Hey I am Harry Torres your the one that my daughter likes uh" Harry said

"He isn't that bad, Gabriel show him to the bathroom and give him a suet of clothes "Sofia said

"I will mom" Gabriel said

"Can I call you mom too mom "James said

"Sure you're already doing it "Sofia said

When James took a shower and came out Gabriel looked at him like he was the prince of England.

"I did not knew that you were so handsome James "Gabriel "Now I what you even more"

"I did not say I like you so hold your horses" James said.

"I will marry you if it's the last thing I do so don't worry" Gabriel

After two days James got the hang of the house but he didn't start to going to school instead he went in the study section of the house after 8 days he read everything in the house and on the Sunday night Gabriel sneaky into his room in her Pjs.

"Can I sleep with you tonight "She asked

"Why! would I want to sleep with I girl that I don't like "James said

Gabriel was about to cry when James said" It was a joke "he laughed "But are you sure about this I will do weird things to you, you know right"

"I have no problem with that besides I love you" she said

"Ok ,Then you come under the sheet" James said

As Gabriel reached under the sheet James was fast a sleep.

"He when to sleep that fast, His so handsome" she said hugging him tightly.

In the morning when Harry woke up he went to James room.

"James we should be leaving for the a..." he said

"Why is my daughter in your room James".

James said "Good morning Dad what's up"

"Hi dad "Gabriel said

"What are you doing here Gabriel?" James said

"I wanted to sleep with you tonight James is that so wrong after all I l.o.v.e you James "she muttered

"Do sleep with him again until you are married"

Harry said

"Ok dad "she said

James got up of the bed went out of the room and close the door behind him .

"Dad I read your diary "James said

"What! Why "Harry said

"I read everything in the house, anyhow I will not be marrying one girl because in that diary you said are a harem king
