Review was written at Chapter 976. After chapter 600 the story slowly goes down in both quality and content. Where, once it was science fiction it's slowly moving into the realm of science fantasy. Where once it was in the realms of possibilities, it's turned into just another modern day system novel where MC is the king. The novel slowly looses it charm. Despite the complex mathematical questions and content, people can eto read it because it was something new. Something fun. How could a simple man turn into a genius through efforts. It even inspired people to study! Now? He's jumping from one mega project to another. One moment he's building a fusion reactor, the next he's sending people to moon using electric propulsion rocket. If that wasn't enough, he's building a space station in moons orbit and a semi settlement on moon. In between he's creating quantum computer and Lithium Air batteries and starting a mine on moon. Plus most of the things makes no sense. he builds a rocket in around six months and sends them to orbit. Six months later he's sending three astronauted to months later they are launching a space station and a month later sending rocket to Mars. Wtf? Are you making Lego pieces? What about tests? What about trials? The author knew his maths. Despite some problems it made you feel that, yes, this is some serious study. But rockets? Author simply puts everything into the background. MC will build the thruster and engine, rest all is outsourced to other companies. Atleast describe it! Where you were once writing chapters after chapters decribing theorms and conjectures, now it's finished ina single para! I have similar problems with his fusion reactor... But anyway. It's now reaching chapter 1000,and we have no character development. He has just become more smarter and has fingers in several pies. His reaction after winning nobel? 'It's okay. ' The MC has become so dull that you need to force yourself to read any further. His relationship? ZERO. It would have been fine if author wantshim to become a wizard. But why do you need to bring our attention to his relationship status every few chapters. He meets his parents, they ask about his marriage and gf. He talks with his his sister, she asks him about gf. He talks with people. Some or the other guy brings marriage and love into the equation. It gets annoying after few times. After chapter 600-650, his practical and theoretical work slowly decreases. You have him meeting people after people, attending one conference after another, one award ceremony after another. We came to read about him and his love for maths. His research. It's fine if author wants to show the after effects, his popularity and how everyone treats him. But it has slowly taken over, what made this story attractive. The guy has been solving a single theorem ( The Riemann hypothesis) for more than 100-200 chapters. It would have been great if author was simply extending it to increase the *******. It would vene make sense, as it is one of the most complex theorem. But nope! Most of the 200 chapters are shown him tinkering with other things, attending conference or him talking with politicians and businessmen. The story is slowly losing its identity. Yes, such things are required to show his growth in social status. But it should have been balanced with his research and study. Now even if he solves a theorem, it barely crosses a chapter or two. Rest 10 chapters are just reactions and discussions. The feeling you got when he solved something is missing. Now it's like...'oh, he solved it. Clap. Clap. Clap. ' Anyway. That's it for now. Cya.

I had read upto 709 chapters in MTL version and I was amazed at my own persistence in reading this. I would rate this novel much better than other common modern tagged novels. This author did not take the racism or nationalism route like most of the Chinese authors. He did something even more amazing! He just simply turned blind eye! MC studied in the US for some time and he should've directly felt what it likes to live in a free country. But here it was never mentioned properly. I am not criticizing this point here. It just shows how much of trust the author has towards the authoritarian Chinese govt. One point that made me give up reading further than c709 in MTL is that there is no clear distinction between mc's private company and Chinese state. A state and an intellectual property is clearly different but here it's all kinda mixed up. There is another amazing thing about the novel is if you get lost in the story you won't notice the illogical stuffs. I admit here that if this novel were my first Chinese web novel experience, I will hardly notice any uncomfortable points but sadly this isn't my first so I can rate critically. I can guess what will happen after c709 so I have stopped myself from any further reading. Anyway, it was a good attempt from the author. I will appreciate if the Webnovel community adds a novel that is free from racism and the twisted nationalism of China, kinda like this but much better. Good Luck 👏
Started out interesting, with a focus on academics, advancement and collaboration. Halfway through (several hundred chapters in) it turned into another nationalistic oppressed political underdog narrative where China pretends to be the victim of all the bullying strategies it uses on the rest of the world. China is the great Amber Heard of the modern era: beating others while using makeup to fake bruises and slandering the victims. Nobody cares where the protagonist is from until the author starts force-feeding you racist, nationalist rubbish. Not only have they used the traditional US bogeyman, but they've also taken potshots at Africans, Indians, Chinese expats in Australia, Germans, etc. It's not about the story anymore. The author decided to make the entire world a stage for Chinese slapstick virtue signalling. I'm going to go look for some Xianxia, maybe, because the only Chinese novels that don't turn racist are the ones where the MC doesn't interact with non-Chinese people.

If this does not encourage people to take Mathematics seriously and to actually enjoy learning it, then I doubt that I could ever convince that this book will make your heart burn with either envy or inspiration for the simple fact that the Maths have me going bonkers. The author has to be twisted enough to hurt our poor minds with simple question and answer; it hurts my honor to not be able to see the process the gives me that answer... but it hurts me more so that the main character did it in seconds 😢 TL:DR Please read this book of the art of Maths, as well as suffer a wide variety of emotions tortured out of you by the author 😊👍🤷🏻♂️
Finally a science novel I'm sick of cultivation and magic novels most of them use something that belongs to the world to gain power and immortality but what happens when the qi or mana of the world runs out in what way do they keep their power. I hope he won't just depend on the system scientific blueprints and develop his on technology most MCs use the system for everything which is dumb makes me feel that the MC possess no IQ whatsoever
This novel makes me sigh, perhaps the authors style just doesn't work for me, perhaps I know that this will go premium in a month or two, but this novel just wasn't entertaining. There is nothing terribly wrong with it, sure I am not a fan of all the swearing, it feels contrived. Nor am I a fan of how so many chapters waffle on and feel like fillers. Many of the characters come across as quite copy paste. This novel has some good points, but the fact that I cannot rave about any of them is itself an indicator of this book. I advise a rewrite, but I doubt it will happen.
Don’t easily trust reviews on here. It’s a decent story, likeable characters, but also illogical plot. The writer will make your brain fry with overload of information, I’m speechless. It could be explain in a cool fun way, but it’s trying to explain it in a intellectual “geeky” sci-fi way. There’s also some heavy flaws, if the MC was that smart to begin with what the hell was the point of this System?! I had to drop it since my head hurt, will pick it up again when the Romance starts, I love the heroine but she might not even get scenes. It started off good and I love how different route the Author is going at all this, but I’m not sure what I’m reading anymore Lol
