5 Compliments

After the seatbelt incident, Caly brought back her wits and drover the car to the workplace of her subject. She put all her focus on the road and steering wheel to avoid an incident not just about the road but also her subject.

When she was so busy enough, Uno turned on the music player of his car to lighten up the atmosphere. He played his classic musics nervously because he just want to leave some good impression.

Caly was shocked because of the music that comes out of the player. She was never a fan of music while driving but she didn't also hate it because her mom.

"Wise men say only fools rushed in but I can't help falling in love with you.

She really knows this song, it was one of her mom's favorite.

Some things are meant to be" Uno can't stopoed himself from singing the song.

This made Caly turned her head and look at the singing guy. She got distracted yep! Who wouldn't? It never said in the file that her subject got a nice singing voice. That surpise her a lot.

He keeps on singing while his head was swaying to the music.

At this point Caly keep on averting his attention from the road to the subject. This was the scene Uno caught.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. Did I disturb you with the music?" he aske apologetically.

"No sir! Definitely not. I just that you've got a good voice" she answered directly.

He was taken a back by her answer. Caly can't lie so just say what's on her mind.

"Thank you about that. I treasure that compliment of yours" he said while suppressing the tingling butterflies in his stomach.

After that light conversation between the atmosphere become lighter than than before. He can't but sing along again to the music he played because she like his voice.

Even the traffic can't stopped his awesome feelings right now. He was with Caly the girl she like for the long time was with him in car while listening to his favorite songs. God! Thank you for this moment, he prayed in silent.

He was so happy that he didn't realized that they'd arrived at the his new working place. "Sir, we are here" Caly reminded him. "Oh, yeah" he hurriedly detached his seatbelt grabbed his bag and went out.

Caly followed his boss inside the building and as expected many employees got shocked on his arrival with accompany of a woman. Uno greeted everybody while also asking for the way to the conference room. One of the employee approached them, "Hello Mr. Juan Pedro Bathala. I'm Bernard Narciso, I'm the assigned personal assistant of yours. My first task is to lead you and your company to the conference room and later tour you to the facilities" he said.

Bernard the new assistant look like a typical nerd guy with a native asian look.

"Thank yoy and nice to meet to Mr. Bernard Narciso" Uno extended his hand to offer a handshake. Without second guessing, Bernard grab the hand and shake it gladly. "Sir, I'm so happy that I was appointed as your personal assistant" he said happily.

"That's a great news and guess what?! I am also happy to be under your care" Uno gleefully answered. "By the way, Bernard. I call you in your first name 'kay. This is my beautiful guard Capt. Calypso Fuentes, she is with me all the time so please also take care of her" he introduced her to Bernard with a big likable smile.

"Sure sir, nice to meet you Capt. Fuentes" Bernard offered a handshake and Caly did it and said, "Nice meeting you sir Narciso. Sir Bathala please refrained from using inappropriate comments."

"C'mon Caly, being beautiful is not appropriate it is a fact and a compliment" he answered happily. Then he put his hand on his assistant shoulder and they continued their journey to the conference room while Caly followed the to two men behind.

While on their way, Bernard keep on talking about the facilities and other stuff that just the both of them understand. On the other hand, Caly use this opportunity to observed the place and people to strengthen her security senses.

Finally, they've touched down the conference room. Inside awaits the formidable head scientists in every field of the science an technology to welcome their new fellow scientist that will lead them to a new future of the nation.

As they all enter a bunch of people stands up in their seats to show their respect to this young scientist. This made Uno shocked at the moment, he was a shy and humble person and being treated like this was never his cup of tea.

"Uhmmm, please can you take your seat. Sorry for being late. I'm a terrible coworkers, am I?" he started his speech with this lame blabbing.

"No, Doc. Bathala we didn't bother by that" answered the old guy on the front.

"Really, that is nice of you all but I promise that I won't do this anymore. Good morning anyone! Before that, I know that you all now me and what's my purpose here. My only hope and wish that we all get along together, help and protect each other to make this team the strongest and the greatest. To the success of our nation!" he said proudly to this crowd.

And with that a loud clapping can be heard in the conferences room. After that, all of his fellow scientists came on to him and greeted him and start introducing their selves. Caly and Bernard went on the peaceful corner and observed the popularity of their boss.

With a snapped and precision she heightened her senses to sense any danger. After a long meet and greet session at the conference room Uno got himself freed and he hurriedly went to where Caly is. Seeing her, makes him forget his tiredness.
