5 The Name

Eight in the morning we all gathered at the studio to talk about my stage name.

"The name is a very important thing for a person. It is also part of your personality and your behavior." Alexis said.

"It is how the funs will recognize you." The rapper guy said whose name is Alan.

"I don't want Avery to have more followers than me." Roger said joking.

"Haha, we are group after all!" Luo Shanyuan said.

"Don't worry! I won't have more funs than you all! " I said directly to not make them jealous of me in any way.

"Well, well... I think your stage name well be Boo if you agree all! " the producer said while he was whinking.

"Of course we agree! We wanted to have a nickname like this! " Reginaldo said.

"But... Why? " I asked whisperely.

"I'll explain you that later" Roger whispered to my ear while he was standing next to me.

"So Avery is that ok with you? To call you Boo, I mean. " Reginaldo asked again.

"Yes that is ok with me! Even if I don't know the meaning of my nikname! " I said to explain me what my nickname means because I really wanted to know the story behind that. Also, I didn't believe what me buddy said to me because he always keeps secrets to himself what he was a small boy.

"I with tell you we the time comes! " All said.

"Now that we found Boo's name, " then all the guys started laughing and then the producer realized his mistake, as he continued saying; " I mean Avery's nickname! "

"Well, I want you to write all song for your first performance as a new Boo band that reunited since long ago. Now the name of the band well be... "

"Why don't we call it PUBLIC AURA? " Aldrich insisted. All that time Aldrich was in deep thoughts. What he was thinking exactly?? Is my nickname so weird??

"PUBLIC AURA is a good name! " Reginaldo said enthusiastically.

"Yeah! Let's call it that! " I agreed without a second thought.

"If our Boo and the drums guy agreed then I agree too! " Alexis said.

"Then I agreed too! And don't call him our; is MY Boo, I mean MY buddy! " Roger said that because of his jealousy.

"Relax bro! We agree with the name too! But not in extremely way! " Alan exclaimed that while he whinked.

"Hey! You don't know him! Because I've known him since my childhood! That's why I'm talking like that! " Roger stated somewhat annoyed.

"Ok, ok. Don't get angry man! " Alan affirmed.

Then the producer saw me from above to below.

"Well, now that Avery is a new member here, we must buy him clothes to make him look good as you are! " The producer acknowledged.

"But he will never be as good as we are! " Aldrich expressed.

"He will be as good as we are, idiot! " Alan patted him on the head.

We all then laughed because we knew that they are good friends as Roger and I.

One hour later, after hanging out all together to find good clothes for me that will be my new style as the new member in this cool and fan boy band, suddenly Alan started rapping and many girls gathered to see and hear him.

"Yo! Lemme tell you what your stage name means, with all the respect is not mean, for you 'cause the funs will absolutely follow you and you are you, after all, that's the point but this isn't all, that I want to tell ya. And the stage name is not bad for ya. It's for a guy like you and me, and it means cute! " Alan rappered.

"How cool! " Crowed the girls.

"Please give me a more manly nickname! " I said with dissaturation.

"So, you didn't like it? " Roger said.

"Ah.. No! " I said unpleased.

"Look! These guys are hot! " They added.

"Show off! " Roger whispered.

"Look! Look! This guy is so cute! " one girl said to each other while they were pointing on me.

" I've never seen him again around here! " A blond girl confided. She was around at the age of 15.

" Boo is our new member in our reunited boy band! " Reginaldo introduced me and he put his hand around my neck.

"Wow! Are you a new idol/pop group...? " Some girls asked.

"We haven't introduced ourselves. And that's too bad if you don't know us! " Alexis expressed.

"We are a new boy band here! " Luo explained.

"Yes! And our name is PUBLIC AURA! " Aldrich declared.

"Yes and we call our fans Goldens! "

"Wow such a nice name! " The girls shouted.

"So do you call us " GOLDENS""? One girl asked us.

"Yes! Because your heart is made of gold to like and love us! " Alan winked to the girls.

The blond girl approached me.

"Hey! Aren't you the guy who protected my bestie the other day? " The blond girl recognized me.

I was astounded!

"How do you know that? Who is your best friend? Iris Harvey? " I asked.

"Yeah! So, it was you! " The blond girl said excitedly.

"What's your name young lady? " I asked politely.

"I'm Jeanne Sparks and I'm 15 years old and I think that you are so cool! " The blond girl introduced herself.

"Do you do karate? " Another girl asked who was standing next to Jeanne.

"Yes! And I have black belt in..." I tried to reply because of Roger.

"Martial arts;such as judo, karate, taekwondo and... of course boxing! " Roger continued.

"Really? Why didn't you tell us? That means that we must be scared by you? " Alan said amused.

"No, but if you want any protection, I'll do it! " I said and the words just came out of my mouth.

"Yes, Avery made some nice karate moves yesterday! He kicked the ass of a bad guy who was holding a knife! " Roger said enthusiastically.

"Ok...We are friends anyway, right Avery?" Luo said who was standing next to him.

"Ah..!" I gasped, "don't be scared of me. Ok? "

"Whatever you said! " Luo replied. "I'm just kidding! Don't stare at me with that serious face! I am not scared of you at all! Haha! " He added.

I can tell that he was lying. Or maybe not..

"Well, Luo knows judo too! " Alexis supported Luo.

"I'm from China, you know. I don't believe that you are so naive! " Luo said jokingly, "Then maybe, one day, if you want, we have to fight to each other..! " Luo added.

"I hope that day won't come..! " I said.

"Why are you afraid of him? " Roger whispered to me.

"No, but... As friends we don't have to fight! " I added.

"Wow! That's a good theme for a song or we can add some karate moves too! " Alan said unexpectedly.

When we came back to the studio the peoducer he had got for us a small present... A welcome party for us that we, now, reunited as one! We had much fun and talk. At the end of the party, the producer gave us a piece of paper and he said strictly that we had to follow whatever was written on it...
