7 The gangsters

As we were going to our dance studio and as we were passing some houses, we heard a man talking to another men about how he was chasing a girl in the street with a knife and he was won by a high school boy.

"Ah! They're talking about Iris! " Roger whispered to my ear.

He was scared to death!

We were standing behind a house that was directed to a corner dark haze.

"Go away and call the police! " I said whispered without loosing time.

"I am hearing footsteps! Guys, someone is coming! " The second man said.

"Get ready! Maybe our leader is coming! " The third man said.

Then I ran there to fight them. Where is Robin when you need him?

I was walking quietly when I showed up to them! I surprise the man who once was going to catch Iris!

It was time to fight with them alone in the darkness just like my training with my teacher Zhào Hui to take the black belt...! We fought with closed eyes in the darkness...! It was a difficult request but if I couldn't won him I wouldn't take the black belt that I have in my bag right now! So, I tricked him like I will trick those bad guys! But there is a fear inside me. While I was fighting with those guys, Alan was passing by and his eye catched me fighting. So, he hided to see how I was going to do at the fight. Then, when I was needed help he appeared beside me. He was strong and he helped me a lot.

When we finished with them, the police came so we left the bad guys to them.

"How did you know those moves Avery?" Alan asked me.

"I used to do karate for ages." I answered.

"Seriously? Man you are something even if you are a little bit shorter than me!" Alan said.

"Hi Alan!" Roger appeared behind us.

"Where have you been Roger?" I asked him.

"Well, I was going to explain...", Roger said ashamed, "I forgot to buy a card yesterday to phone to the police so...Yeah..haha" He added.

"I don't believe you! If I lose to that bad guys what you should do?" I said a little bit angry.

"I'm so sorry Avery..." Roger said with his eyes looking to the ground.

"It doesn't matter man!" Alan said.

"Yeah...! Don't think about it..!", I said, "You helped us..! The police came at time I think..." I added.

"You said that so I feel better...." Roger said sadly.

"Next time you'll help us better..!" Alan said.

"Ooh man! I was just kidding!" I said to him and I punched him slightly in the arm.

"Ok!" Roger said.

When we arrived at our department, I exchanged contact details with Alan in order to call him any time if I ever needed help. Then, I goodbye him and we left fir the apartment.

We went home. While we were opening the door, I asked Roger "Wait, there isn't a chance for your sister to wait for us, is it?".

"Oh, shit!" Roger got anxious.

"I was waiting you for decades! You finally came back home!" Iris yelled at us.

I wore a hat to hide my scratch on the face from those bad guys and I had my head down while I was entering.

"Well, I will leave you alone..." I was trying to escape from her screams.

"Wait a moment, Avery! What you are hiding?" Iris asked with acrimony.

When she moved the hat from my hair, she got panicked. "Ah! What has happened to you, Avery? What is this scratch on your face? Who made it to you?"

"My dear sister Iris, your future husband, Avery has fought with the stalker from yesterday! That's why he got this scratch on his face...!" Roger started saying out of concern for her.

"You are making stories again, Roger! Please, stop it!" I got annoyed. "Well, we bumped on him and other gangsters accidentally! They had ulterior motive for us!" I punched my fist.

"Yeah, we must protect ourselves from those guys. But don't worry! We have our secret weapon!" Roger cheered.

"But Iris didn't say a word... Are you ok Iris" I asked.

"We are of one mind, brother!" Iris chimed in. "So, um...well...thank you for always saving me, Avery!"

"I hope you won't misunderstood..." I acquired.

"Misunderstood what? Anyways you must be hurting a lot because of me...Let me take care of you!" Iris hypothesised.

Iris made me sat on the sofa and Roger brought her medicine.

"We can't let you being hurt on your face, my idol" Iris winked at her brother and I felt inconvenient.

As she took the medicine to treat my wound, I took right from her hands the bandage as I stood up.

"Let me take care for myself. I'm a grown up man, anyway..." I told them as I try to avoid Iris and his brother and I went to my bedroom.

"Goodnight!" I added as I disappeared from their sight quickly.

The two siblings were looking at each other.

"Maybe I was too straightforward..." Roger said.

The next day, Iris made breakfast for us. We ate in a hurry and we got changed our clothes to go to the studio.

As we opened the door, we saw the other members of the group chatting about a new idol that made his debut yesterday.

"He is not as good as us!" Roginaldo was quarrelling with Alexis.

"Good, my ass. He's a show-off guy who thinks he has good vocals" Alexis reacted.

"Hey, don't say inappropriate words in front of our new member, Boo. I think that our manager is coming upstairs." Alan said seriously.

"Well, excuse my French" Alexis said.

"What happened?" I asked confused.

At the same time, our manager opened the door and got in.

"Attention! Today, I want all of you to greet my son, Sam In Yeop. He is solo artist and he is older than you. He is 30 years old. From now on he is going to work in this company as the future manager here." Hwank In Yeop introduced.

All the members from our band went voiceless...
