“Jesus! What the hell, Zeke?” Simon jumped as he turned to see Zeke.

Zeke laughed, feeling like this was the first time in his entire life that he was truly happy. “I should be asking you the same thing.” He said, his cheeks strained from the huge grin on his face.

Simon was back.

“How did you get in?” Zeke asked. “You should have called, I would have picked you up from the airport. When did you get in? Why didn’t you call me?”

Simon grinned, his cheeks flushed. “You didn’t take back your key. I hope that’s OK? I got in a couple of hours ago and I wanted to surprise you.”

Zeke didn’t even think about it; he wrapped his arms around the Simon and squeezed him. “I’m surprised. Pleasantly so.” He was probably still buzzed because his head spun as he buried his face in Simon’s neck and inhaled.

Fuck, he missed him.

More than he thought.

Simon hugged him back. “I’m sorry.” He looked up at Zeke, his bottom lip caught between his teeth.
